fubar_1337 Seeds were germinated successfully around April 20. First signs of seedlings appeared shortly after planting. Lighting set to 18/6 with sunrise/sunset simulation. No nutrients applied yet, only water. Seed was planted in a Jiffy.

fubar_1337 All seedlings are developing steadily, and the first sets of true leaves have expanded. One of the plants is slightly ahead of the others in size and vigor. The grow tent environment is stable, with daytime VPD values averaging in the optimal vegetative range. Plants are between 5–8 cm tall. Substrate moisture and top-feeding volume are carefully balanced to avoid overwatering.

fubar_1337 The plants entered early vegetative growth and started forming more leaf mass. Leaf structure and node spacing look healthy. Root·Juice support was continued. Toward the end of the week, plants reached 10–13 cm and began to establish strong side branches. Daily checks ensured steady moisture and climate. Starting LST this week.

fubar_1337 One of the Green Gelato plants was topped for HST, while the others received gentle LST to open up the canopy. Growth was vigorous, and internode spacing remained ideal. Plants responded well to the training with no major signs of stress. The main Green Gelato was topped above the third node. Side branches started to develop symmetrically and responded well. On the other plants, low-stress training was applied — soft bending and tying down of side branches helped open up the canopy and expose lower bud sites to more light. All plants handled the training without visible signs of stress. The leaf color was strong, internodal spacing remained tight, and early preflower structures began to form. The tent environment was stable, and daily growth was noticeable.

fubar_1337 This week marked the transition into early flowering, with the first visible signs of pistils forming at several bud sites on both the Green Gelato Auto. The plants showed strong recovery from training and began responding with vigorous growth. The topped Green Gelato Auto developed four clear main shoots, and side branches on all plants stretched horizontally after LST. The canopy became increasingly even, and internodes remained compact. Leaf structure was broad and healthy green with no major deficiencies. In preparation for flowering, the light intensity was slightly increased. Overall, a very stable and productive vegetative week, setting the stage for the stretch.

fubar_1337 The plants transitioned fully into flowering this week. Bud sites became clearly visible and began stacking, especially on the topped plant, which developed four distinct, strong main colas with excellent structure. LST was also applied and proved effective, though noticeably more time-consuming than topping. A full defoliation was carried out to improve light penetration and airflow. Some bud sites appeared slightly pale, possibly due to the light intensity being too high – this is being monitored. Leaf color differences between plants became more apparent, possibly due to different phenotypes, overfeeding, or early signs of a minor deficiency. Need more experience and and knowledge i guess. But that's why im doing this.

fubar_1337 The flowering phase progressed steadily, and the canopy remained well-filled. The topped plant continued to impress with its clean structure and healthy bud sites. The LST-trained plants were a bit more work but also developing nicely. However, the leaf discoloration became more pronounced: some leaves shifted from yellow to reddish-brown tones, and dry patches began appearing. This could indicate a phosphorus deficiency, salt buildup, or slight overfeeding – all under review. Despite this, bud formation looked very promising, and overall development was on track.

fubar_1337 Flowering was in full swing, and the budsites developed beautifully, especially on the topped plant, which showed a textbook structure with four main colas. As this is only my second grow — and my first time documenting and topping a plant — I was really impressed by how well it turned out.
However, leaf discolorations remained, ranging from yellow to reddish-brown, and some signs of possible light burn or stress persisted. I’m not confident in diagnosing it precisely, but overall, the plants still appeared reasonably vital.
Trichomes were mostly cloudy, with some still clear and a few amber already beginning to show up on the upper buds.

fubar_1337 This week marked the final flowering stage for the first plant. While all plants continued developing buds, one clearly matured ahead of the others. Trichomes on the leading plant became mostly cloudy with some amber already present.
As a response to leaf issues (yellowing, necrosis, and brown spotting), a full flush was performed on all plants early in the week to reduce salt buildup in the substrate. Each received approx. 3.5 L of water, and EC in the drain peaked at 2.4, indicating previous overfeeding. No further nutrients were added this week.
The plants showed slower trichome progression. The topped plant displayed a very well-developed structure, and overall bud formation was promising. Drying setup and DryFerm bags were prepared for the upcoming harvest.
Though I messed it up a little bit, I had fun and a good yield. Went well I guess. Green Gelato Auto gave me a really smooth and enjoyable experience. The high starts off clear-headed and uplifting – great for music, gaming, watching movies, or just being creative. It had a nice energy to it without feeling too intense or overwhelming.
As time goes on, it settles into a relaxed, calm vibe that helps you unwind without knocking you out. Exactly the kind of balanced effect I was hoping for.
Growing it was also fun and rewarding – definitely a strain I’d come back to.

fubar_1337 The first plant was harvested this week after showing a satisfying amount of amber trichomes and dried-out fan leaves. The buds were compact but not overly large, and the final dry trim greatly improved their visual appeal.
Meanwhile, the other plants progressed at different speeds
The flushing seemed to boost overall vitality one last time, although previously observed discolorations and deficiencies persisted. By now, it became clear that the yellowing and fading leaves were mostly signs of senescence as the plants reached the end of their lifecycle. At least I hope so. But I used too much nutrition, that's for sure.
Drying conditions were closely monitored using DryFerm bags and RH-controlled storage. One dry weight came in at ~46 g after 9 days of drying from an initial 142 g wet, confirming a ~32 % retention rate.
Im sorry for not taking so many pictures from now on. Idk why I didn't took that much.
As I said for the other Strain in this grow, easy to grow and forgiving. Effect was as aspected. Didn't test it for THC in the lab. But l'd say it's more on the stonier side of things.

fubar_1337 The grow cycle came to an end this week with the harvest of the remaining two plants. Each plant was carefully inspected, and the trichomes confirmed the perfect timing: mostly milky with some amber. One final watering had been given a few days prior, and nutrient uptake had already been reduced to ensure clean-tasting buds.
One yielding ~185 g wet and ~55–60 g dry.
Another plant — the late-developing one — caught up surprisingly well and gave a final wet weight of ~213 g, which should translate to ~65–70 g dry after curing.
In the background, the next generation is already waiting – the seedlings of the upcoming grow are peeking into view. But I need to make more - and overall nicer pictures. But you need to start somewhere!
