HuskyHouse Wowza, the Afghan kush is dense and growing fast! We topped her about 5 days prior to the photos shown, waited 5 days and then did some light LST! I really wanted to defoliate her a bit but do not want to stress her out more than need be, so I did my best to separate leaves and growth. So far my favorite strain to watch grow! Gorilla cookies also did well, was topped and LST was done around the same time. Thank you fast buds!

Phosphorus deficiency? Looks closest to a phosphorus deficiency on my chart, any better ideas and or recommendations? Current light brightness is 50 percent, running a spider farmer g3000 and Most of the leaves are pointing up.

Good Evening Mr.HH From the pictures and your description, it doesn’t look like a classic phosphorus deficiency. With phosphorus issues, leaves usually turn dark, sometimes with a purple or bluish tint, and necrotic spots spread from the edges inward. In your case, the damage looks more like a mix of nutrient imbalance (possibly potassium deficiency or pH-related lockout) and some light stress, since you mentioned many leaves are pointing upwards. I’d recommend Check your pH of both the nutrient solution and runoff often deficiencies are not from lack of nutrients, but from pH blocking their uptake. Check potassium (K) levels burned edges and spotting often point to K deficiency rather than phosphorus. Review watering routine irregular watering can worsen nutrient uptake. Light height even at 50%, make sure your Spider Farmer isn’t too close. Leaves pointing straight up can mean they’re reaching for light or reacting to too much intensity. In short: before adding extra phosphorus, double check pH and overall feeding plan. Often it’s not about “more nutrients” but correcting balance and uptake

Grow Questions
HuskyHouse
HuskyHousestarted grow question 2mo ago
Is this a last stage of Phos deficiency/ Ca? Or just a potassium K deficiency?I wait until soil is dry b/ watering + always check w/ digital instruments so should not be overwatering. Redcng to nutes once a week, should I flush or no? Ph at 6.7, or just reduce + use only big bud

Looks more like a root zone / irragation issue. Waiting for a proper dryback is good, but are you fully saturating the medium? If you are choosing a volume to give and not giving what is needed to fully saturate, that's likely theproblem. i would not do a 'flush' but maybe get a little extra runoff for an irriation or 2. Feed as you normally would. you amened some peat moss, so how you fertilize is a supplementation of what remains in the soil... like riding a bike, you have to figure that out on your own. The plants don't look lush, so i doubt you are over-feeding. i would not reduce feed but if symptoms continue, change formula of feed for sure. again, i think this is more about the root zone. the damage is all around the veins to start. Check any marijuana leaf symptom chart and you'll see this is difficult to match up to anything... the location and progression don't match. the plant doesn't look overly lush and you say the pH is balanced (6.7 is fine for soil).

HuskyHouse Hey fam! My apologies for the slightly late post as I was out of town for work, They seem to be doing a little better! I think a relative slightly over watered while I was out of town but do not think it is a big issue and they were dry by there next watering. I gave them each 1.5 liters with nutrients today and gave her a little extra cal mag and nitrogen. I also cleaned her up a tad and readjusted some of her branches in the net and checked her run off ph, It read about a 6.8 today. Have a great day!

HuskyHouse They were both fed today with 1.15 liters of approximately 6.10 ph balanced water with the following nutrients: Growth science, big bud and extra cal mag! They have all shown signs of recovery with new growth sites having no signs of cal mag issues or any other deficiencies. Gorilla cookies did amazing with topping, her neighbor not so much and I will definitely not top the Afghan kush from fast buds next time. New gravity fed watering system installed today! Until next time!

HuskyHouse I gave them both 1.2 liters of nutrients from the top today, no longer watering from the top at all as they adjusted to the gravity fed system. Ph has lowered, all four plants seem to have lowered from the 6.6-6.7 they were at during deficiencies.
