Gamfin 📓 Welcome to my new diaries! This time I am finally growing photoperiodic plants again. For this fall season, I chose 3 nice strains from 3 different breeders: Iced Up Cherries by THCTitan (Square One Genetics, Robin Hood Seeds), Blue Zushi by Dutch Passion and Cookie Casket by Barney's farm. All seeds germinated after just 24 hours. I planted them in EazyPlugs, as always and put them under the humidity dome. But this time, I really fucked up. I put the dome at my southside window and went to university. It was a rather hot day with a lot of sun and 30 °C, so the new seedlings were COOKED in the dome. When I came home that evening, I was forced to see that I killed the Ice Up Cherries seedling and the Blue Zushi seedling. They were just too young and vulnerable for that heat and sun. Miraculously, the Cookie Casket survived as you can see in the picture. So I threw 2 new seeds of Iced Up Cherries and Blue Zushi in a glass and this time, I was more careful. The Cookie Casket has a small blessure on one of it's supporting leafs. Probably because of the heat stress and survival. She is growing very slowly, I am just hoping she survives further and bounces back. Let's talk about this specific strain. Cookie Casket is a cross between Thin Mints GSC and the Hearse from Doja. It's a collab between Barney's and Doja. I heard a lot of not so good stuff avbout Barney's in the last year, but my seeds germinated quickly and even survived hell. So I am positively surprised for now and just hope, she keeps it up and get's into vegetative phase. ☀️ // Day 1 🌱 Today, on 29th august 2025, I transplanted the EazyPlugs into an EazyBlock. Normally, I would wait some more days but I am not at home over the weekend and I want to make sure they have enough moisture und space. Hopefully they're still alive on sunday. The lights are just at 10 % so the PPFD is around 100-150. I started to count this to day 1 to keep all the plants into the same time table. Technicially, this one is 1 week older than the Blue Zushi and Iced Up Cherries but she got stunted pretty bad because of my heat fuckup so I start the count now.

Gamfin ☀️ // Day 3 🌱 I can gladly say after my weekend trip that the plants really like their new home. Great progress for this small seedlings. She started to form her first real leafs! I start the count now as the first day of veg, 3rd day overall. Technicially, the Cookie Casket is 1 week older than the rest but since she got stunted pretty badly because of my heat fuckup, I count her parallel to the other plants. 💦 Watering: - 💊 Fertilizer: - 💡 Light: 150 PPFD on all 3 seedlings. I don't want to stress them and really let them cruise. Both lights are on 10 %. ☀️ // Day 5 🌱 Small progress, they go their way. I watered them today with pH=5.8 water infused with root juice. Her damaged leaf did not proceed any further since day 3. She is almost recovered from her heat stress and near death situation lol. Got the biggest leafs still and seems greener than the others. 💦 Watering: pH = 5.8 💊 Fertilizer: 4ml / l Root Juice 💡 Light: 150PPFD at 10% ☀️ // Day 7 🌱 Very nice progress, the plant totally came over her trauma from humidity dome hell. Her first leafs look pretty and healthy. I am now totally confident that she will evolve into a beautiful plant without any further stunting. 💦 Watering: - 💊 Fertilizer: - 💡 Light: 210-250 PPFD / 13.5-14 DLI at 20% ☀️ // Day 9 🌱 Just watering, no new pictures. I prepared their 11 l (3gal) end pots with BioBizz all mix. They will be transplanted in the upcoming 1-2 days. 💦 Watering: approximately 0.1 5l with pH = 5.8 💊 Fertilizer: Early grow nutrients 💡 Light: 210-250 PPFD / 13.5-14 DLI at 20%

Gamfin ☀️ // Day 10 🌱 Damn. I fucked something up again haha. I feel like a newbie because when I increased the light intensity from 10 - 20 % on day 7, I forgot to put it on schedule again. So the plants now had 72h of light. I know, technically you can veg on 24/0 but I did not do that from the beginning so maybe it stressed them. Besides that, I transplanted the plants into their end pot which is a 11 l (3gal) fabric pot. The rooting is in between the Blue Zushi and the Iced Up Cherries. They had now some darkness and I enabled their prior schedule. So they have light now for 18 more hours and then finally get their deserved 6 hours of darkness again. 💦 Watering: 1 l with pH = 6.4 💊 Fertilizer: Early stage nutrients and Mycotrex for the transplant. 💡 Light: 200-250 PPFD / 13.15-14 DLI at 20% ☀️ // Day 13 🌱 I am pretty happy with this plant. She had a rouuuugh start and almost died so I am really glad that she keeps a steady grow. She is rather small compared to the Iced Up Cherries, despite beeing 1 week older. But like I said, she was probably pretty stunted in the beginning and is a rather small pheno to begin with. But she looks healty, her leafs are beautiful and she get's a thicker stem day by day. I am not sure what to think about the antocyans that all 3 plants are producing. Little purple leaf stems, top of the main stem is purple and so on. The temperatures are between 23 °C and 28 °C so temperature shouldn't be too low. Maybe it's genetics? 💦 Watering: - 💊 Fertilizer: - 💡 Light: 200-250 PPFD / 13.15-14 DLI at 20%

Gamfin ☀️ // Day 17 🌱 She continues to grow, slowly but surely. She lacks behind the Iced Up Cherries tho, but that is no problem since the IUC is just a beast. I want to wait a few more days with the topping since she simply is not there yet. The soil is also still moist. I think I pre moistered the earth too much, that's why they don't really need water in this first week. But with further rooting, she for sure will start to drink more. ☀️ // Day 20 🌱 She was fed two days ago, on day 18, with 2L of water and some early veg nutrients. She looks funky which make me really nervous. Am I doing something wrong here or got she sick? I mean, maybe had the Blue Zushi a virus or something and died because of it and this plant has the same? Doens't look like it but it is kinda sus that she got it now after beeing fine for over 2 weeks. A possibility can be that I underwatered the plants a bit but that should be fixed since the last feeding. 💦 Watering: 2L pH = 6.4 💊 Fertilizer: Root Juice, Silic Rock and CalMag 💡 Light: 200-250 PPFD / 13.15-14 DLI at 20% ☀️ // Day 21 🌱 Today, this little plant got topped. The new sprouts that are coming out of the side branches look completely normal, no distortion anymore which makes me kinda reliefed. I want to observe her closely tho because she seems like a pain in the ass to grow.

Gamfin ☀️ // Day 24 🌱 Great progress! I started with some low stress training and I keep defoliating the top branches to minimize their height advantage compared to the side branches. She definetly overcame her problems, the new growth looks just normal and healthy, which is really relieving for me. I was really scared to lose yet another plant. She got 3 L today with the whole arsenal of veg nutrients. I will be on a business trip until wednesday so the feeding comes with perfect timing. 💦 Watering: 3 l with pH = 6.4 💊 Fertilizer: BioGrow, Acti-Vera, CalMag, Silic Rock 💡 Light: 200-250 PPFD / 13.15-14 DLI at 20% ☀️ // Day 27 🌱 As I said, the new growth looks good. Some funky leafs but overall a happy plant. Will be a smaller one for sure but as long as the product is good, I am fine with that. No new watering but I increaded the light percentage from 20 to 30%. 💡 Light: 330-400 PPFD / 20-25 DLI at 30%

Gamfin ☀️ // Day 31 🌱 Good progress also for her. The soil is still moist from the 3 L she got 7 days ago, so she drinks much less than the IUC. Parts of the stems and leaf stems are seeming to stay red, maybe it's the genetics that just produces antocyans when it's not hot. Maybe something is wrong with the soil or nutrients uptake, I don't know. The grow is more or less plagued with struggles compared to the IUC but I am still glad that she made it and is healthy for now. I already lollipopped her in a wise that I removed the fresh grow from the bottom of her stems. Those are normally not getting anywhere because of the distance to the light and the shadow of the leafs. 💡 Light: 330-400 PPFD / 22-25 DLI at 30% ☀️ // Day 34 🌱 Today was finally the day she wanted water again. The soil was dry so she got 3 L of water with nutrients. I skipped the grow fertilizer because the soil is very strong when it comes to the nutrients, the IUC got some burned leaf tips and the Cookie Casket has very lushy, green leafs which tells me that there is enough in the soil. I also defoliated and lollipopped the bottom third of the plant because I want to switch to flower on sunday. But actually I wanted to wait until the pistils are showing since that is a recommendation of THCTitan, the breeder behing SquareOneGenetics and Robin Hood Seeds. He states that you should flip from clone instead of seed but if you flip from seed, you should wait until there are pistils. The problem is that the IUC in the tent is already very huge and can stretch 2x or even 3x in strong cased. And it's a small tent, I do not want it to be 100% occupied in winter because of mold. It's quite a dilemma I am in.. Maybe they show their sexes until sunday. 💦 Watering: 3 l with pH = 6.4 💊 Fertilizer: Acti-Vera, CalMag, Silic Rock 💡 Light: 330-400 PPFD / 22-25 DLI at 30%

Gamfin ☀️ // Day 38 🌱 This Cookie Casket has really taken some speed. She grows better than ever, very healthy and vigorous. The side branches are not perfectly on the same canopy but that's okay, she will stretch into a beautiful bush I am sure. I really want to kick the plants into flower but the fact that both did not show pistils yet keeps me waiting. That's because of two reasons: 1.) THCTitan as the breeder of the IUC himself recommends to only switch to flower from clone. And if you flower from seed, you should wait until the plants show their sex (in this feminized case, pre-flower pistils). I think that has to do with early stress factors to minimize the hermaphroditism chance because kicking in flower early can induce some stress in certain strains. 2.) The flowering times should be accurate. I want to harvest both plants on the same day. The Cookie Casket has a predicted flowering time of 63-70 days while the IUC has one of 63 days. So technically, I should be able to harvest them both at a very good time. But that is only the case when both start to flower at the same time. When both plants show their sex, the time has come where they are capable of reproduction and a switch to a 12/12 shedule would cause them instanlty to switch to flower. The dilemma is that I do not want to wait much longer. The plants are already quite big and should stretch up to 2 times. If I veg them for too long, the tent gets 100% crowded which makes growing in winter much more stressful. So I give them several more days but I will switch to 12/12 in this upcoming week, no matter what. I increased the power of the LEDs from 40 to 50% but reduced the light hours to 16 hours. I want to drive gently into flowering. 💡 Light: 400-450 PPFD / 22-25 DLI at 50%
