Day #8
Plants have seen some growth today. Gave a plain Ph'd watering of 500ml and 750ml to each plant. Will see how they come along. Will add pics later.
Got to use the new Bluelab pH Pen today. WOW! I'm seriously impressed - and waaaaayyyyy more confident my plants are getting the correct pH. The temperature adjustment is really cool.
Day #9
Not much action. Still concerned with the slow growth on the Cookies, as well as the tacoing of the leaves. I have been researching and stumbled across VPD. As an inexperienced grower, I'm not sure how much of this matters as I have been continuously reading that 35-40% humidity was okay. However, I borrowed my GFs small mister to try and raise the humidity.
Day 10#
Great signs after raising the humidity. Trying to reach 60% for Veg as a baseline as my temps are at 80f with lights on pretty constantly. I have purchased an actual Humidifier as well as a Smart Plug and Bluetooth Thermo/Hygrometer to hopefully monitor this and keep the RH at that 60% mark.
Day #11
The Cookies are opening up and GROWING! Admittedly, the new growth is slightly twisted but hopefully, this is just caused by the stressful start to life. No food, dry AF - surprised it hasn't committed suicide on me! Good job I'm in Coco or I would have definitely overwatered. There's still time yet I supposed :D
The Gorilla is.. a Gorilla - getting bigger daily! Loving the look of the new leaves, they are beautiful! It's monstrous compared to the Cookies, to say it is a day older and had the same start. Right from Germ, it seemed like nothing could stop it. It is showing some N toxicity signs with the clawing tips - I hope this was caused by me overfeeding to catch up the lack of Nutes early on combined with the low humidity/high temp combo. I hope it will balance out after the plain water I gave a couple of days ago and the rise of RH of the tent. Still not watered - it is still pretty damp and doesn't seem to be struggling. I don't want to add any more feed at this point to avoid increasing the Nitrogen levels. Once she begs for it, I will provide!
Gave the Cookies a light feed 300-400ml of 300 PPM @ 5.9 pH. I fed this less on Day 9 so it was dryer, and it's looking a bit yellow/hungry.
I have the humidifier hooked up and the new Bluetooth Hygrometer in. I can't stop checking the data - it's addictive. At least it stops me opening the tent so much. Weirdly, it's giving a 20% RH difference to my old ThermaPro monitor. I have emailed, maybe it's the old device. It thinks my room is 60% RH - which doesn't seem correct at all.
Hoping to get this Bluetooth device hacked and the smart plug working to allow me to monitor and control the humidity remotely.
See you in week 3! Choo choo!
Looking good ... Just got done harvesting a AK-49 Auto and a Northern Lights Auto myself, check it out if you can ! I wish you the same success. Good luck with the rest of your grow.
