First Cocosoil Fast Buds Grow

DanielGanja By now, on day 7, I've added Fish Mix (0.5ml/L) to the watering water, and the plants are gratefully accepting it, especially the Ztrawberriez, which is showing healthy and rapid growth. I water every 2-3 days (as soon as the substrate on top is dry) with 1.2L of standing tap water, which I've adjusted to 5.8 with pH Down. I've dimmed the LED to 70%.

DanielGanja On day 15, I strategically removed leaves from the Ztrawberriez to achieve a more even canopy. I removed Root Juice from the feeding schedule and increased Fish Mix to 0.7ml/L. The ladies are watered every 2-3 days. For the other strains, I plan to do LST / HST as soon as they are a few days older and their stems are about 3.5 mm wide, just like with the Ztrawberriez currently. Edit from 09/25: Fish Mix has been increased to 1ml/L and they are now drinking 2.5L in 2-3 days. The surface of the substrate on day 18 of the Strawberry Gorilla was still moist after a 2.5-day watering pause, yet the pot felt light and the leaves were slightly drooping. I suspect that the water has settled at the bottom and the roots are briefly "suffocated." The tips of the leaf edges on the Pound Cake are slightly yellow, probably due to EC or it can't handle that much fertilizer yet.

DanielGanja On day 21, the plants are growing very healthy (except for the nitrogen excess in the Strawberry Gorilla) and show no significant deficiencies. The plants were trained and defoliated yesterday. Edit from 09/29: The Ztrawberriez and the Strawberry Gorilla are already showing the first pistils, so I started adding Bio Bloom (0.5ml/L) today. I flushed the Strawberry Gorilla with about 5L of pH-adjusted dechlorinated water and then watered it with 2.5L (half the amount from the Fish Mix schedule, so 0.5ml/L). Despite its nitrogen excess, I continued to train it to achieve an even canopy. Also, the LED is now dimmed to 100% at a distance of 45 cm from the plants.

DanielGanja I tied down the Ztrawberriez and Pound Cake. On day 28, the Pound Cake also entered pre-flowering, it was tied down further and I removed some leaves that were blocking light from the lower shoots. I did the same with the Ztrawberriez. Additionally, the Pound Cake had 1-2 claw leaves on day 25, so I flushed it immediately.

DanielGanja The Ztrawberriez has had a healthy stretch so far (the feeding schedule provided is only used for the Ztrawberriez), I gave the Pound Cake 2.8 L during the last watering (Fish Mix 2ml/L, Bloom 0.5ml/L, Top Max 0.5ml/L) with a pH value of 6.0. From now on, I won't be applying any LST anymore, only to make adjustments if necessary.

DanielGanja Last week, I defoliated the Pound Cake and Ztrawberriez a bit so that the LED lights can better illuminate the shoots. The Strawberry Gorilla has finally somewhat recovered.

DanielGanja The Pound Cake is stretching at the end of week 3 of flowering and has handled its LST well. Strawberry Gorilla remains the smallest plant from this run, but with the thickest bud sites.

DanielGanja It looks like the ladies are now working on building flower mass since they aren't stretching anymore. The smell of the Ztrawberriez is indescribable. It's in my personal top 10, right after Guava, because it smells sweet and lemony.

DanielGanja This week, the Pound Cake has already formed some decent buds. With the Ztrawberriez, you can already see the first amber trichomes on the sugar leaves. Strawberry Gorilla is also putting on some good bud mass.

DanielGanja At the end of last week, I noticed some fungus gnats. I immediately treated them with yellow sticky traps (where there are no gnats) and a solution that you mix into the watering water against the larvae. The Strawberry Gorilla is developing goofy foxtailing 😅 I think the Strawberriez will be ready for harvest in the next 1-2 weeks, as the trichomes are now completely milky.

DanielGanja On day 73, I noticed a strange shoot on the Strawberry Gorilla. I then carefully "opened" the bud and discovered bud rot with white mold. I immediately cut off the shoot generously and examined the other shoots, and luckily found nothing. The Strawberriez is actually already ready for harvest, but I'm leaving it until next week to harvest it with the other plants. The Pound Cake now has 80% milky trichomes. For the past 4 days or 2 watering sessions, they have only been getting pH-adjusted standing tap water.
