I'm not sure what to do with this plant now, it seems to be more leaf than bud and there doesn't seem to be any coming.
it's probably time to cut my losses with this one?
I'm worried this is getting too stretched, should I cut this back to encourage growth where I topped it?
It's my first grow and I am still learning, Should I provide more information?
Your plant looks pretty good. I’m guessing you want it to be bushier though. You could move your light closer to the plant. I’d push it to around 40 cm so that the smaller branches fill in the middle space. This will happen regardless when you switch to flower though, so no need to cut it back. Just move the light closer and switch to flower.
I'm worried that the larger fan leaves are taking too much light from the bud sites and slowing development?
Is it too early for lollypopping (is that the right term!)?
If you watch my video it gives a better look.
Hey mate. Yes you can cut some of those fan leaves to allow light to penetrate. Another option is to set up some side lighting for your plants. If you don’t want to use the extra power then LST during veg stage can help keep the plant low to the ground and boost bud production within the limited range which the light can actually penetrate.
Is there anything i can do to get the buds to fill in and get a bit fatter?
they are quite thin at the moment, i'm feeding;
ionic soil bloom
cal mag
pk boost
guanokalong
Should I be giving her anything else?
Hey 715Creeks!
She look better then well. Don't overfeed this girl! all you can do is to grow her out. I don't know what "true watt" you use but for the size listed, you don't need to worry my friend ;). One thing the lemon likes, is to dry out the pot a little bit then give her the feed (pref week 5 in flower). Thumbs up and Cheers!
@Mrs_Larimar, Do you think it's time to flush this plant now? I just added a bunch of photos and a video with lights on and off. Would you mind taking a look? It seems like there is more leaves than bud?
@Mrs_Larimar, thanks so much for taking the time to give such a detailed reply, i really appreciate it.
I'll have a look at trichomes today and follow your advice. 👍👌
Looking good! Super lemon haze branches needs to be supported. it will stretch the most now up till week 3-4 in F so a "tomato cage" is recommended. Cheers.
@715creeks, Np i love Super lemon and i am glad i am somewhat helpful to you 😀 (going to smoke some Super lemon haze fresh frozen bubble hash 73 micron right now). Did you see the new update? such a beauty slh pheno ! Cheers
Great work, she looks like she is ready too put on weight and getting more dense right about now! Edit. saw the vid, Mah dude you will have some grade A smoke out of this. Cheers.
@715creeks,Hey! I would say about 2 more weeks. So about 11 weeks flowering. Dont forget to flush her even though you run organic nutrients you still need to lower the ppm from the runoff water down. Cheers
@Waters, Can you check out my latest pics/video? I'm not sure whether I should be removing some of the larger fan leaves to get more light to the flower sites, my light isn't very strong, just 150w. I'm sorry to tag you, I asked a question but got no replies.
@CommanderCannabis, I waited a week and the pistils haven't really changed, I'm not sure what to do now. should I flush now, I haven't fed this week yet so a few more days with just water or should I feed this week? I just added a bunch of photos and a video with lights on and off.
To answer you question 1 week is fine for drying. Key is to monitor them once you jar the weed. Minimum of 2 weeks and you should have a nice smell from the finished product. If you have not dried enough they will stick together while shaking the jar. I that case leave the lids off for an hour or so.
Is that a nanner in your fourth pic? It might be going hermie. Do you have night time light leak at all? If so, that could be why you aren't getting further into flowering.
