TurtleInWeed 🌱 Project Start – Run #4 with Living Soil Welcome to my fourth grow! I'm still at the beginning and mainly want to gain experience and grow good weed – without stress, without complicated feeding schedules. That's why I chose Living Soil: easy to handle, organic, and with a stable soil life that has developed well over the last rounds. Currently, the soil is in its third round. I primarily grow organically. I deliberately chose different strains – I wanted variety and strength, not three of the same. Each plant should show its own character. Genetics: Gush Mintz (Zamnesia) Sunset Sherbet (Zamnesia) Amnesia Mac Ganja (Royal Queen Seeds) Backup: Hyper Viper (Zamnesia) Setup: Tent: 150×150×200 cm Light: Mars Hydro FC 4000 EVO Soil: Living Soil (3rd round), 35 L per pot Watering: Blumat with dechlorinated tap water Additives: Rootmax, Orgatrex, PK Booster (compost tea) I will post weekly updates, document the progress, and share my observations. The goal is not perfection – but an honest grow with a learning curve and hopefully a really good result at the end. 09/13/2025: Germination Report – Week 1 All four selected seeds have successfully germinated within 48 hours. Setup: damp kitchen paper in a ziplock, kept warm consistently. So the dream team for this run is set – Hyper Viper has been sorted out, three seeds remain as reserves for future experiments. Especially pleasing: With both breeding lines – the Zamnesia team and the RoyalQueenSeeds team – I have achieved a 100% germination rate so far. The quality and stability of the genetics speak for themselves. I am very satisfied and will continue to rely on these two providers in future projects. 09/18/25: The first week is done – all three are healthy and strong. I'm looking forward to week two, even though not much exciting is likely to happen in the next few days. Since I will be away for six days starting September 25th, I will install my Blumat system now – a bit early, but this way I'm on the safe side. Particularly interesting: my Sunset Sherbet shows a rare mutation and has three cotyledons instead of two. !If anyone is interested, I bought Automatic seeds like in rage this year and now realize I will never plant that many^^ /pm if anyone is interested!

TurtleInWeed 🌱 Week 2 – Vegetative Phase (Day 8–14) 🔧 Setup & Adjustments Light intensity slightly increased: from 22% to 25%, distance remains at 35 cm. Blumat system installed on Day 12 → automatic watering now active. 🧘‍♂️ Activity & Care No major interventions or stress factors. Plants are continuing to develop calmly after germination. No manual watering since Blumat installation. 🎣 Personal Context Fishing trip from 23rd to 26th September (Day 12–15) → tent ran autonomously, no incidents. Good opportunity to observe self-regulation in the setup. !If anyone is interested, I bought Automatic seeds this year like crazy and now I realize I will never plant that many^^ /pm if anyone is interested!

TurtleInWeed 🌸 Flowering Week 1 – Weekly Report Setup: GM (Gush Mints) – strongest symptoms AMG (Amnesia Mac Ganja) – scattered spots SS (Sunset Sherbet) – slightly pale Problems & Causes: Overwatering due to Blumat → root stress pH level of the watering was above 8.0 for an extended period → nutrient lockout (Cal/Mag, Fe) Brown spots on leaves → calcium deficiency symptoms due to pH stress, not due to deficiency in the medium Measures: Let living soil dry moderately for stabilization Reinstalled and adjusted Blumat Corrected watering pH to 6.5 (Terra Aquatica pH-) Observation & Planning: Friday: Remove all affected leaves for control Sunday: Compost tea planned for microbiome strengthening Monday: Decision on Cal/Mag application (Biobizz), only if new spread occurs Sunset Sherbet looks pale → monitoring for Mg/Fe deficiency Goal: pH stabilization should stop symptoms No over-fertilization through cautious Cal/Mag dosing Activate soil life, encourage plants to self-regenerate

TurtleInWeed 🌸 Flowering Week 5 – Living Soil stable, plants relaxed, aroma exploding This week went completely calm and stable. After the feeding last week (Living Soil + a bit of nitrogen for the Sunset Sherbet), there was only water in BW5. The plants have visibly strengthened and show clear progress. 🔹 Gush Mints (GM) The CalMag issue has significantly calmed down in BW5. A few new spots have appeared, but nothing that is spreading further or critical. The buds are visibly thicker, and although the plant has remained relatively compact overall, the number of colas is very good. Due to the flower hose, it sits about 20 cm lower than the others, but that doesn't seem to bother it — it continues to grow steadily and stably. Smell: 🍰 Minty-sweet, reminiscent of cake with a slight freshness. 🔹 Amnesia Mac Ganja (AMG) The star in the tent this week. Strong from the start, only in weeks 3-4 was there a phase with slightly washed-out leaves and very firm stems. The careful bending worked without any problems. Now in BW5, it stands like a champion: about 80 cm tall dark green color purple leaf stems Buds are slowly forming, but it also has about 2 weeks more flowering time than the others. Smell: 🌿 Herbal, and when rubbing the stems, an intense skunk smell comes through — almost like a stink bug. 🔹 Sunset Sherbet (SS) The nitrogen deficiency has completely subsided in BW5. The leaves are nice and green again, and it has stopped sucking and dropping older leaves. The supply is back on track. The buds are developing spear-shaped and are becoming more defined day by day. Smell: 🍍 Tropical – pineapple/mango with a herbal note. ✅ Conclusion – Flowering Week 5 A relaxed, stable week. No interventions needed, just water. The plants are responding well to the Living Soil and the last feeding. The smell has developed strongly, and each strain is now clearly showing its own profile.

TurtleInWeed 🌱 Grow Report – GD (Week) 1. General Progress Not many spectacular changes, but continuous growth. All three girls are developing steadily without stress. The focus this week was purely on water supply. 2. Plant Status Sunset Sherbet → clearly in the final stretch, buds are visibly thickening. Amnesia Mac Ganja → slowly gaining thickness, good development. Gush Mints → consistently doing its thing, no abnormalities, solid bud formation. 3. Measures Only water given, no additional nutrient supply. No signs of deficiency or over-supply. Conditions seem stable and stress-free.

TurtleInWeed Week 14 overall – Flowering week 8 – Gush Mintz compact & frosty, but tip burn remains a mystery 🤔 Day 106–112 / Flowering day 51–57 Feed: Last compost tea (with PK boost) still holding – just dechlorinated water Environment: Day: 22–23 °C / RH 44–48 % Night: 18 °C / RH 48–50 % → cool nights = resin & colors boost super Health: Calm, yellowing on Gush Mintz rather moderate (normal in the final phase, energy goes into buds) Trichomes: Overall ~80% milky Sunset Sherbet: First scattered amber on main buds (good progress!) Strain updates (from photos): Gush Mintz (new photo): Compact, chunky buds, extremely frosty/resinous, yellowing moderate – but burnt leaf tips (tip burn) despite 60 cm distance & only 78% power Sunset Sherbet: Fat colas, purple tones, first amber → almost ready Amnesia Mac Ganja: Sativa look, dense buds, strong yellow → needs more time Harvest estimate: Sunset & Gush Mintz ~4–7 days (flush soon), AMG 10–14 days

TurtleInWeed Week 15 overall – Flowering Week 9 – Sunset Sherbet is exploding, K deficiency is stalling AMG, harvest plan is set! ❄️🍇 Day 113–119 / Flowering ~58–64 Feed: Only water, Water-Only Phase is running consistently (last Compost Tea was 2 weeks ago) Environment: Day 22–23 °C / RH 44–48 % · Night 18 °C / RH 48–50 % → cool nights continue to push resin & purple Health: Quiet week, K deficiency in AMG is spreading (light brown spots, buds are no longer stacking), Tip-Burn in Gush Mintz is spreading Trichomes: ~80% milky, no significant amber development (almost no amber heads) Strain updates: Sunset Sherbet (new photo): Fat, dense colas, extremely frosty, purple tones, older fan leaves are turning yellow (normal senescence) – ready in ~3–7 days Gush Mintz: Compact, stocky, mega resinous, Tip-Burn is spreading – following Sunset Amnesia Mac Ganja: Sativa look, buds are no longer stacking (K deficiency is completely stalling development), massive yellowing & spots – will chop with the others Harvest plan: All 3 at the same time, as soon as Sunset is ready (~10% amber) – no more boosters, just water until chop Next week: RH down to 38–42 %, check trichomes daily, prepare for harvest. Mainlining 8-colas structure is paying off – Sunset & Gush Mintz look amazing, despite AMG issues!

Gush Mintz grew compact and very bushy for me. This strain definitely needs LST and defoliation to reach its full potential. Without training, it gets too dense quickly. At the beginning of flowering, I had pH issues due to my tap water, which really slowed down the stretch. The plant stayed small overall, but still delivered about 80 g dry, which pleasantly surprised me. Not a beginner strain, but those who invest care will be rewarded with a solid yield. The aroma is surprising: floral with a hint of fresh apple. Very unique and really makes you want to taste it.

Unfortunately, not everything went optimally during the flowering stage. Besides my poor tap water and the resulting pH fluctuations (partly due to the stabilizers contained), my Living Soil apparently wasn't strong enough for the flowering phase. After a very good vegetative phase, the buds unfortunately remained relatively small during flowering. Towards the end, a potassium deficiency also set in, which is why the plant was harvested along with the others after 9 weeks of flowering and hung up to dry. The trichomes were mostly milky. The wet weight was about 370 g, and in the end, around 60 g remained dry, which was a bit disappointing in relation to the plant size. The temperatures were also far from ideal for this sativa. I think this strain is much better suited for a spring-to-summer run or late summer to fall, where the climate would be more favorable. Aroma AMG just smells awesome. The profile leans towards mild herbs, combined with old-school gum and a slight spicy-fresh note of ginger, pepper, and a bit of citrus. Very complex and exactly what I personally like.

Sunset Sherbet was initially the smallest plant in the run, but it really caught up during the stretch and shot up in height. It showed the largest internodal distances, which is why I had to use Fimming multiple times to keep it at the same height as the other plants. In the end, AMG and Sunset Sherbet were pretty much neck and neck. The plant proved to be very resilient and forgave almost all mistakes without major issues. Overall, a very chill strain that I think is great for beginners. Despite a wet weight of about 760 g, only around 80 g of dry weight remained after drying. The buds shrank significantly and lost a lot of volume. After about 9 days of drying, it was ready for the jars. Aroma: Very floral, combined with cake-like notes and a fresh citrus touch.
