Puff_TM_Dragon Typical boring first week. Second set of leaves coming in but growing kind of slow so far. Looking healthy.

Puff_TM_Dragon Quite an improvement. Transplant in a week or so.

Puff_TM_Dragon Transplanted into 3 gallon bag. Reused potting soil consisting mostly of Happy Frog and Coco Loco. Mixed in some Dr Earth tomato and herb fertilizer (4-6-3). Doing well so far. Will probably top it this coming week.

Puff_TM_Dragon I’m a couple days late updating. Topped several days ago. Removed some of the lower growth today. Hopefully that will spur some of the top growth. Creeping along at this point but plant seems happy and healthy.

Puff_TM_Dragon Going to attempt mainlining. Removed everything below where I topped it. This will extend an already seemingly slow veg time longer than I’d like but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Haven’t watered in what seems like forever. The bag is heavy and she’s been a light drinker so far.

Puff_TM_Dragon Topped for the second time a couple of days ago. Very slowly chugging along. I suspect I’ll need at least another couple of weeks in veg. The aggressive training and defoliation associated with mainline is really slowing things down. Hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Might need a dose of recharge and fertilizer to give a little boost.

Puff_TM_Dragon I think I have it where I want it. Another week of veg and it will be ready to set into bloom… hopefully. Feels weird to trim off so much healthy growth early on. Hit it with Recharge and Gaia All Purpose last night. I let the “tea” bubble for a couple hours before feeding. I think she appreciated the boost. 11/6

Puff_TM_Dragon What a difference a week has made! Looks like it’s in need of another trim already. Not sure how much I should remove at this point. Trying to let it catch up so I can set it into flower soon. Top dressed with Dr Earth tomato and herb nutes. The auto in the tent that is getting better light from the Vipar is almost done. Once that is harvested I can move this one under the better light and it’ll have more space.

Puff_TM_Dragon Keeping up with LST daily. No nutes this week. Gave a deep watering yesterday. No defoliation this week. Trying to let this girl catch back up on growth. Nice looking canopy starting to develop. Another week or two and I'll set it to flower.

Puff_TM_Dragon This plant doesn’t seem very happy with me at the moment. It is staying very compact and bushy which was somewhat anticipated after the aggressive trimming early on. I have given it several weeks to try and recover now but growth seems to have slowed down tremendously. I suspect it is also lacking nutrients as the newer growth seems to be lacking nitrogen. I made a Gaia all purpose tea several days ago with some recharge added but I think I was too conservative with the food. I topped dressed with Dr Earth Tomato food today. We’ll see if that gets her going. I want her to green up again before setting it to flower. Potting up from the 3 gal to a 5 gal would probably yield the quickest results but for now I’ll keep upping the nutes and watering more frequently.

Puff_TM_Dragon I feel like I’ve hit a wall with this plant as far as the veg stage goes. Top dressed with Dr Earth tomato and herb and Dr Earth Flower girl. Watering every 2-3 days. Looking a little anemic but it’s doing its thing. Getting a little impatient now with veg. Set timer to 12-12 a couple of days ago to begin the flowering stage. Not sure how much this thing will stretch in the next week or two but still plenty of horizontal room in the tent.

Puff_TM_Dragon Growth is steady but very slow. Definitely resembles a bonsai. If you want buds in a hurry this is not the plant for you. Set to 12/12 over a week ago and still no real sign of flower yet. Judging by the slow veg time I’m guessing flower will be the same. The plant faded quite a bit despite the steady feedings but still looking healthy. Will continue to top dress regularly with waterings. . Top dressed with Gaia all purpose and power bloom. Alternating feedings with that and Dr Earth equivalent. Still using the thin garden wire to train but also having a go with clips I made from electrical wire. They seem to be working well compared to my first attempt with them. I modified them to work more like the plastic clips I see people using rather than the simple “S” shape I made originally.

Puff_TM_Dragon Finally started flowering after nearly 2 weeks of 12/12. Started stretching some but still a very compact but bushy plant. Top dressed with Gaia power bloom and watered in with GH Cal Mag. I have a feeling these are going to be rock solid nuggets but a long wait to get them. Going to keep dumping in these organic nutrients. I’ve been conservative with doses but consistent.

Puff_TM_Dragon Still very slow growing and compact despite being in “stretch” phase. Interesting pheno. The bonsai style growth is cool looking and super manageable but I kinda hoped for a bigger plant. I’m feeding and watering regularly but I wonder how much of a difference a 5 gal bag would have made. Top dressed with Dr Earth Flower Girl and watered in with some GH Cal Mag this week. Seems happy at the moment.

Puff_TM_Dragon Top dressed with Gaia Power Bloom and watered in with GH CalMag. Hardly any stretch happening but the buds are fattening up and looking nice.

Puff_TM_Dragon Removed the tie downs and clips and going to let it do its thing for the rest of the grow. Top dressed with Flower Girl. Humidity has been relatively low so I added a dish of water to the tent and misting with a spray bottle from time to time. Added a pinch of epsom salt to the spray bottle to act as a foliage spray. Defoliation here and there but I suspect I’ll need to start removing more in the near future. Buds are progressing a little faster than I thought they would but still a ways to go.

Puff_TM_Dragon Got a dose of recharge and CalMag. The buds are looking promising. Very sticky and a very strong smell of diesel. Clear to milky. Defoliation on the undercarriage. Another 2-3 weeks and it’ll be time close this diary.

Puff_TM_Dragon No additives this week. Straight waterings and defoliation. Super sticky and smelly. Buds are slowly bulking up. Nothing about this plant has been fast.

Puff_TM_Dragon The cold snap we’ve had lately has affected the temperature in my grow space. I think this has caused the plant to turn purple. No biggie since it’s nearing harvest time. Finally seeing some amber trichromes. Light sprinkle of Gaia Power Bloom watered in with Cal Mag earlier in the week. Probably wasn’t needed but I wanted one more push to try and fatten the buds a little. I’m guessing I have less than a week before I chop this thing. The plant as a whole looks like it still has time but the trichromes are telling a different story. Probably the most pungent weed I’ve grown to date.
