Accidentally went overboard on the CalMag 😰 Should have mixed 0.3ml/L but I waked-n-baked this morning and lacked a steady hand 😬😂 Hope this doesn't hurt her too badly... Increased Grow to 5ml/l for the heck of it. As I said before, she'll power through the overwatering. 😍 Didn't even need to adjust the lighting. Veg mode is in full effect. She is growing quite quickly! Daily checkups have resulted in seeing clear differences in width and leaf size. Besides being in a 20L pot, she's going to be another monster of a bush. Aphids found their way into the tent again. This is seriously frustrating!! I cleaned and disinfected both tents as well as the lung room, after having harvested the Pink Gelato. 2. Besides the overwatering from the first two weeks AND the accidental CalMag overdose (0.3ml/l - 1ml/l), I also should not have switched back to CalMag. My tapwater is hard enough with more than enough Ca. I think she (and the Kickass Auto) are going through a N lockout due to too much Ca. Switching back to Epsom Salt as soon as she's processed all the Mg making her leaftips curl. ————————————————————— Oct 21 Watered and fed 2L, without Mg. The first pre flowers are fully grown and I think she is starting the stretch. ————————————————————— Oct 24 Watered and fed 3L + Microbes. Still no need for Mg 😅 Yes, the stretch has indeed started 😂 She's grown over 10cm in three days. Node spacing is alright. I would prefer it to be tighter though. Not having it.” Giving her a belated flush in one last attempt to rinse out anything harmful in the soil. Her smell is a mix of dank pepper and 7-Up/Sprite ————————————————————— Nov 28 - Dec 4 Trichome checks. She is not drinking well. Received one watering/feed in this period. ————————————————————— Dec 5 Flushed with 5L of feed at 6.4ph , 0.3g/l Epsom. Repeated two hours later with 3L of feed. Spike-GreenGrower The Frostbanger Auto from 2Fast4Buds My mishaps this run kept her from showing her true potential. She stayed persistent nonetheless!! In the end, she gave up. Decided it was time to go and stopped drinking altogether. The medium's saturation only dropped 10% in four days, when she was drinking 4-5l every three days. Whether the flush 'killed' her or she decided this pre-flush is up for debate. ---------------------------------------------- What I learned from this Frosty run with the Boys? 1. I watered too often the first two weeks, though I was certain I was being careful. 2. Perhaps she wasn't overwatered but overfed? The others' plants look so much more healthy and they received less feed. 3. Never EVER say "F-it" when a slip of the hand causes an excess of 0.7g/l of Epsom Salts!! EVER!!!! Start the mixture new!! 4. If I do add a LITTLE more nutrients to the mixture, be sure that the lighting is intense enough that she wants to draw that amount of nutrients from the medium. There is absolutely no reason to feed more if the environment and plant is not adequately setup. 5. Sick plants get chopped asap. No more waiting it out and trying to correct the issues. It's not worth the hassle nor the financial dent of the nutrients. ---------------------------------------------- Love the blueberry terpines!! Shame they didn't come out sooner but perhaps she always saves that for the end? 110g (wet weight) of dank blueberry pepper is now hanging up in the tent 😄 Buds could have definitely been thicker and denser and I expect the amount of trichomes would have been double had she led a 'normal healthy' life! It is what it is. I had fun nonetheless. Learned a few things in the process. And hope to do a similar run in the future with the Boys @valiotoro @FatnastyzBudz and @PersonalSmok3s , if they'd be willing to include me again 😘 Thanks for all your time and engagement this run!
