DapperDabber The first photos are from 9/27 and initial germination was 9/19. Germination implying seed covered in soil and doused with water.
Everybody but Northern lights showed up to the party. Another Northern lights was sown on 09/24, Still nothing yet.
The ladies were direct sown in 10 gallon pots. The soil mix is the Buildasoil Coot's recipe with a slightly lower ratio of aeration (3 Parts Sphagnum peat moss(Premier&Promix)/3 Parts Worm castings(Wiggle Worm)/2 Parts aeration(Mix of Pumice,Perlite and rice hulls) With added insect frass, bio-char and granular humic acids. The soil was fully saturated and pre moistened 2 days before sowing. There is an inch (or so) layer of mulch.
The humidifier is set to 80% for a targeted vpd of .4-.6 with the sensor at plant level and the hose set inside the tent being circulated by the fan.
The circulation fan is set to always on, level 3 and oscillating.
The exhaust fan is currently off, enough air exchange is made through making observations. I'd like to stretch out and delay the dryback period until the roots take hold, without top watering until then.
The VS4000 is about 18" from the seedlings at 25% power at 24/0 until further maturation.
In the 3x3 they will be trellised. Each plant will be afforded approximately 2.25 SQ feet. There will be bare minimum training and ideally no defoliating.
The northern lights will be given a few special treatments to be given the chance to make up lost time, whenever it decides to pop by.
