Growbody Welcome to my grow report of the Z-Up Auto from FastBuds. It took 2nd place in the Best New Autoflower 2025 category at the Autoflower World Cup 2025 in Barcelona. That's reason enough to try out the strain.
You can find the URL to the strain here:

This time there's something new again: For the first time, I'm using the new 7th Gen Air Pots with a capacity of 20 liters. As a base, I'm using a saucer with expanded clay of grain size 4/8mm, which allows for better alignment of the pot compared to the coarser grain. I've equipped the blue bottom of the pot with a double-layer piece of insect mesh so that the good soil doesn't fall out too quickly.
Now we come to the 2nd point of the news. This time I'm using the organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde. The prospect of growing my plants in Living Soil without the hassle of fertilizing makes me curious. I also really like the idea of being able to reuse the soil multiple times. For mulching, I've planned to use the organic fiber from Sonnenerde.
Day 0: The organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde doesn't need any preparation, so you can start planting the seeds right away. I first prepared the Smart Start Plug from Zamnesia: I pierced the hole completely with a small screwdriver, then enlarged the hole at the top, watered it with Seedbooster Plus according to the instructions, punched out the hole with the plastic piece, and placed the Z-Up Automatic seed horizontally with the tip towards the hole in the Smart Start Plug. This time, the seed is not covered with a plastic box, so there's no artificial increase in humidity.
Day 4: Yay, the seedling is here.
Day 5: The seed shell has fallen off, but a little skin is still holding the cotyledons.
Day 6: And off we go.
Glad you checked out my grow report of the Z-Up Auto. Come back again! 🤙😎

Day 12: It's clearly visible how it has grown in just 4 days.

Day 14: Applied about 2 cm of organic fiber from Sonnenerde for mulching. It smells faintly of a farm 🐮😎
Day 15: You can also watch the Z-Up Auto from FastBuds grow.
Day 17: Today, there were SF nematodes from Legona against fungus gnats for everyone.
Day 19: Wow, it's growing enormously. Not in height, it looks sturdy, stocky 🐂😎

Day 79: The Z-Up Automatic from FastBuds has incredibly frosty buds. The pistils are mostly orange. The trichomes are mostly still clear.
Glad you checked out my grow report of the Z-Up Auto. Come back and take a look again ✋😎
It was a great pleasure to grow the Z-Up Auto from 2Fast4Buds. After 4 days it sprouted, and after another 4 days it was already big enough to mound. It grew very vigorously with a thick stem, but had such short node spacing that LST wasn't possible at all. I probably would have broken it. By the beginning of the fourth week, it had strong side branches, showed signs of the beginning of flowering, and really got going. It had a very nice umbrella shape for a long time, until the main stem was unstoppable. The buds quickly became thick and covered in trichomes. Overall, it remained very compact. Due to problems with bugs on neighboring plants, I harvested it at the beginning of the eighth week of flowering.
The strong one has been harvested. There were 139 grams of sweet-smelling, really fat and solid buds. They are now drying in DryFerm Bags in the basement.
It turned out to be 62 grams of hard, sticky, lemon-scented buds. The smoke is incredibly lemony, slightly sour, and hits pretty hard.
The Z-Up Automatic from 2Fast4Buds gets my absolute recommendation. A strain that clearly stands out from others. Both in terms of the strong flavor and the ease of growing, as well as the robustness of the Z-Up plant itself.

Growbody Welcome to the end of my grow report for the Z-Up Auto from FastBuds. It took 2nd place in the Best New Autoflower 2025 category at the Autoflower World Cup 2025 in Barcelona. That's reason enough to try out the strain.

Conclusion on the new Air Pots 7th Gen with 20 liters of capacity:
The planting area was completely rooted. Fine and very fine roots everywhere. Even though I hadn't watered for a week, the soil wasn't dry. Awesome containers.
Conclusion on the organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde:
Just watering without measuring nutrients is wonderful. I was honestly surprised at how nicely my cannabis developed in it. Now I'm curious about the prepared soil.
Conclusion on the organic fiber from Sonnenerde:
Great for mulching. At first, it even has a subtle smell of a cow barn, which unfortunately fades away too quickly. It keeps the soil nicely moist. And you can easily reuse it for the next grow as well.
Day 85: The Z-Up Automatic from FastBuds isn't the only one I would have loved to care for another 4 weeks. I realized too late how many bugs had interfered with my Blueberry Challenge. There were probably too few of them in the hives and bags full of pests. In any case, they couldn't contain the infestation. So, I'm forced to harvest.
Glad you checked out my grow report for the Z-Up Auto from FastBuds. I wish you a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones ✋😎
@farah4weed
, Thank you, she was actually supposed to continue growing for another 4 weeks, but the bugs...
