In the end of week 1, had a late pop on the smaller seedling but looks healthy. About 2 days behind the taller seedling. Hoping for 2 females out of the 10 pack of regulars but slim chances on that. If one is male and other is female would it be a good idea to breed them together, or is that some hillbilly shit I should stay away from. Should I find another female of different breed to cross or can I bread plants that came from the same mother?
Start of week three and they are coming along nicely. Quite a hardy strain for how quick I put them out under the full sun's strength. They've taken to the outdoor environment during the day, the true test is to be outside day and night. In my local it's pretty much that time. Once I transplant into 2 gallon pots in a week or so my plan is to give them a few days afterwards in the house at night under the led to settle in to their new shoe's. Then kick them outdoors permanently.
In to week four now, and they are doing ok I suppose. I gave them to strong of feed for their second watering. I don't advise following the feed chart that us provided with the general organics line up exactly as directed. I would suggest maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of suggested early growth strength. Praise the lord they are still alive
Things are looking swell. Outside full time. They are praying hard now that they have gotten some sleep and are in higher humidity climate during the night time. I almost crushed the bigger one when I was shifting some things around, thankfully nothing broke she sprung back up. I'll continue to keep you all updated on the project.
Week 8 and the plants have been transplanted. Gave them a dusting of micojordan in their new shoes.Looking like they will show their sex soon. Cross my fingers for at least one female.
On to week twelve of veg and these plants are doing fantastic. The side branch development has started to take off and are starting to bush out a bit. We will wait to see what next week beings us.
Holy smokes the female is starting to stretch fast. feeling comfortable in the big 5gallon pot. The male is also doing good, pollen sack development is slow but steady. They are drinking more now that their root base is developing in the buckets. I do notice that the leaves on the female look a little lighter green almost have a ripply look to them. The big bulb in the sky has been pretty intense the last few weeks so my first thought was uv level but is most likely something else. Any constructive criticism is welcomed, I am always down for knowledge.
Holy crap this female is stretching like crazy. These plants are starting to chug down their feed with the nice heat we've had out here these past few weeks've increased the feeding in the pst few feeds from 5ml/g to 7ml/g. I will slowly transition the plant to 8-9ml/g but no more. I do not want my ppm getting to far over 1000. I sourced out the issue of my "ripply leaves" from last week, the bottom of the bucket was very dry. I noticed the lower leaves starting to wilt so I gave it a heavy water till the feed ran out the bottom drain holes. So far things are looking mint. We will wait to see what next week brings us.
Still bushing out and stretching. Looking like the pollen sacks are starting to form nicely. Might be collecting early pollen soon. I'm thinking I might have to bring this girl inside once she is pollinated and starts her early seed development. I Don't want her out in the late autumn conditions.
Deceased... failure due to powder mildew. This strain has terrible tolerance to night time humidity. Tried to save with sm-90 but it is to late spread through 95% of canopy. Managed to collect some pollen off male as I cut it down last week and it didn't get hit as hard. I also clipped some clones a few weeks ago so I'm going to be starting over indoors only.
My first 2 was normal. But got ripped up smh.. don't wanna talk about it lol. But these second 2 both have that defect. It's kinda cool. Just got an extra branch at each node.
Mines about a month younger then urs topped 1 so it's about a 3 foot bush. With about 20 tops. And the other is about 5 and a half feet tall with a stalk about the size of 2 thumbs. Booth in 7 gallon bags
