Tracking my first attempt at growing, always wanted to grow this strain so made it my first. Heard great reports about dinafem from a friend so interested to see how i get on :)
Second week in, day 14 exactly fron potting.
So far seems to be coming along well, has seriously grew in the last 7 days which ive found fascinating and cant wait to see what the upcoming weeks have to offer!
Day 21 in soil, really love the look of this plant, and everything about it! Has massively took off in the last 7 days!
I have noticed some yellowing in the bottom leaves if anyone has any idea as to why?
Have just been providing phed water, previously was adding some root booster rhizotonic, which i noticed serious increases ph levels so ive stayed clear from it since.

Another solid week of growth, this plant just doesnt want to stop growing upwards, daily its getting bigger and bigger 😂🔥 i have to say ive a real love for this moby dick plant, its look and everything 😍
Tied down last weekend with my critical 2.0 and have noticed some serious growth coming along. Introduced some biogrow also this week and plants seem to have responded well to it :)
Another amazing week of growth, can see how much size the plant has put on from my previous tieing down last saturday 😂, starting to show flowering, seems to be growing nice and healthy, starting to tower over my critical 2.0 running along side. Started adding some more nutes and providing larger volumes of water which the plants seem to have thrived on 😁😁
Another week on, this monster wont stop growing 😂 flowering is starting to come along, slowly however many growth spots. Towering over the critical 2.0 i have growing beside it. Seems to be growing healthy with no signs of problems. Fingers crossed the nugs start bulking out over the last stretch😁
Also untied shortly after posting last week
So big mama has offically out grown the size of by grow tent 😂 came home to find it had bent over and partiality snapped however seems to be going strong and on the snap has recovered, so decided to leave it as is as i dont really know what else to do, some leaves have seemed to turn yellow not many 3 or so,however i think that was down to my phing with nutes on one occasion! And flowering is speeding up however at a very slow rate compared to my dinafem critical 2.0, however it is twice the size maybe 3 times so fingers crossed over next couple of weeks flowering starts bulking out 😅
Any suggestions moving forward would be fantastic 🙏
So ive no idea really what's happening with this lady, big mama compared to my critical 2.0 running along side is way behind, and seems like it's covered in pop corn nugs. I think somewhere down the line I've done something wrong, it's grown to huge, with plenty of bud sites all over however very small and undeveloped, any suggestions moving forward for any fix would be great I know there's anywhere from 2-4 weeks left so fingers crossed the next while makes all the difference.
PH is always tested so i dont think it could be that? Really not sure but onwards n upwards another week down lots learnt and fun watching
Today will be day 57, lots bud sites very small all over no real progression? Any ideas or tips to sort this? I know it's pretty far in at this stage 😅
Just be patient and let it do its thing. For future reference, training to get a flat canopy helps a lot. Also, careful with over feeding, I can spot claw like leaves.
Another week down, last week the plant wasn't doing so great the plant refused to take in what i fed basically the pot stayed the same weight for 4 days, after last week's post i followed the recommendation below just to add water until corrected, have been doing so have noticed a yellowing in many leaves however the plant seems to be doing great now taking water in real well, bud sites all very small however have noticed great improvements from last week :)! Wish the other moby didn't die in the early weeks (my fault, fan to strong).
Starting to really enjoy to growing and relaxing alot now, glad i grew this ladie along side my critical 2.0 for experience with both 🙏😁 thanks for looking
Not much change from last week buds slightly bigger still not doing to great, plant seems to be doing alot better however. Not sure how it will finish!
Would love to have another run at this strain, many suggestions I wish I'd of known earlier and looking at others diaries on this strain, mine doesn't compare 😂😂

Sad news I had to chop the moby down with my critical to use the tent for drying, wish I could of give it another week or two! This ladie grew like a beast start to finish. I think I done something through its life to stunt it pretty bad which resulted in slow growth over many weeks!
I would love to do another run of just these ladies as i can see the massive bud potential they have and other growers have managed to produce! Such a beautiful plant with great genetics, give me my first experience at a sativa dominant plant along side my critical 2.0 being indica I got a great knowledge of both 😁
This ladie out grew my grow tent, bending and snapping creating a thick knuckle and trooped on!
I started lst real late which I think would of been alot beneficial in the earlier stages.
Overall I landed a half oz, 14grams dry and the majority of the bud sites were to small and undeveloped for smoking so all went to butter with about a further 20-25 grams of small bud! Some great butter produced - really sorry to say the buds that are smokeable got mixed in with my critical so i cant produce you guys a picture 😫😫
I have 8 more of these seeds so i may run another in the near future 🙏

3 weeks in and our Moby Dick XXL auto is looking in great shape👍

@Joah420, Hello mate - With guidelines for flower times remember they are "guidelines" and not set in stone. Rather an average flower time 👍
Some plants in some conditions may finish faster others may take slightly longer 👌
Buds are not huge but you look on track, just by looking at the pictures a minimum of 7 day's possibly upto 21 more days remaining 👊

@DinafemSeeds, quick question in regards to time frames, the guidelines on the site when buying the seeds I take it doesn't do any harm stretching it beyond the 77 day finish etc? I think I've slightly confused myself into thinking I need everything completed within 10-11 weeks 😂😅 thanks for the advice guys will go a long way for future grows 🙏 I've tried my best throughout to leave them to do their own thing and water when needed, reading online big mistake for first time growers is getting to carried away with feeding and that.
Looking healthy man. Possibly start LST a little earlier next time along with topping so that the lateral branches can have a chance to grow at the same rate as the main.
@Waters,thanks for the info bro, i didnt know at what stage you could tie down so i started real late 😫 haven't done no topping either didnt want to attempt on my first grow kind of scared myself reading into it, i will be sure to defo experiment with the next one. It's your first grow... you are bound to make mistakes. I'm new and make mistakes. The main thing is we learn, rectify, implement.
I'm sure you will have a big 🙂 when you kick back and smoke your own cropped marijuana.

This plant looks like it's growing very tall I'm going to have one eye on this one to see how tall and bulky will become leaving it to grow in a Christmas tree shape with minimal training .good luck with your grow
@Gratefuldead, being my first growing experience I had the lights way way way to high for the first 2/3 weeks of their life Like im talking top of the tent high 😂😂 until i read about distancing, i went by manufacturers guidelines (all light providers will have a reccomdation in the specs for distance throughout stages) i can't remember exactly what I reduced it down to however ive been adjusting throughout normally having the lights 12-24 inches above the plants. I'm also running x2 600w, keeping same height so they dont beam down on each other 😁
