Unfortunately I noticed a broken branch on #3 today. Not sure how it happened but it was almost completely off of the main stem. Might have happened when I adjusted the LST. I have taped it back in place and hope it manages to heal itself. 😥 Day 38- #3 seems to be recovering from the broken branch, in fact, she seems to have liked the rough treatment! Day 41 - Pistols and trichomes. My tiny plant (#1) has the most trichomes showing. Seems a bit early? Day 42 - I did some light defoliation; removed only a few leaves that were blocking light. #3 is the tallest lady despite having the broken branch. I have some purple showing on a few stems of the plants but info from the seed bank said that this strain has some purple genetics so I am not panicking (yet).

Should I be releasing the LST? I hear differing opinions and have no idea what to do.😕

Your plant looks very healthy for the lst you can keep it if you want but it’s not necessary the plant will not grow more she will focus on their buds now. Personally I prefer to remove the lst when the plant has finish her stretch and the canopy is even. And for the LST on auto flowers I start it when the plant is 2-3 weeks max and train her till the end of the stretch. Hope it help you

Plant #1 is showing some leaf discolouration. Not sure if it is nutrient burn/lockout or deficiency. I flushed her with R.O water just in case. Any ideas or suggestions? She's an odd one anyway, seems to be a different phenotype than her sisters.

The burnt tips are a sure sign of over feeding. The dark green foliage shows excess of nitrogen. So, yes stop feeding. Actually you should have stopped at least a week ago.

#3 had seeds at harvest (5). I don't know if she is a hermi or if one of my other plants is, or if my other plants were pollinated and I didn't notice. She did have a big injury earlier in the grow. Any ideas what happened? I'm so confused and disappointed!

Hi there @THCandME What I believe happened was your plant produced a male pollen sack and pollinated the bud it popped out of resulting in the seeds you found. It's possible the pollen spread Check the remaining buds for swollen calyxes and see if any seeds are growing in them Otherwise wait and see at harvest. It's not that an uncommon thing to get a few seeds every now and again when using feminised seeds Hope is answers your Question and Happy growing

@THCandME wrote: “... I hear differing opinions and have no idea what to do.😕“ Don’t go crazy worrying about it. The reason you hear differing opinions is because of both valid personal preference, and perpetuated myth. If this is truly your first time, you’re doing fine, and each grow will be better than the last. Lots of skilled growers here to assist. One of my strong personal preferences is to grow regular photoperiods. No interest in autos. And I breed my own seeds, so I haven’t bought a seed since 2013. Good luck developing your style! Enjoy your harvest

@THCandME wrote “We're only allowed to grow 4 plants at a time here in Canada ” So glad to hear you’ll be growing photos! When the law limits you by plant quantity (we’re allowed 3&3 here - 3 veg & 3 flower), you have to beat it by growing four big bushes! And only photos allow you to control the ultimate size. Stagger your cycle and you’ll always have an upcoming harvest. Grow outdoors if possible for the biggest yield, best flavor, and a sublime, intangible high that ‘lab grown’ weed cannot achieve. Best wishes. Keep at it, Canadian friend

@growdoctordc, Thanks! I started with autos because they seemed to be a bit less finicky and would give me some practice. I already have the photo seeds for my next grow. We're only allowed to grow 4 plants at a time here in Canada so I am eagerly awaiting the harvest of this bunch so I can move on to the photos. Can't hardly wait! 😃

@DILLIGAF, Thanks! This whole experience has been weird and challenging! I hope these odd little ladies are still smokable when all is said and done.

@@Athos, Good to know! My leaves have always seemed fairly dark so I didn't really worry about it. Oops! Hopefully things will turn around; might have to stop feeding the others too, just in case. Thanks for letting me know. Happy growing 😀

Well, I flushed little lady #1 due to some nutrient issues and now she is MAD! Leaves are turning yellow like crazy. I don't know if this is a continuation of the nutrient overload or if there is a deficiency. Looks very much like calcium deficiency but I don't know. The other three were flushed too and have not responded like this. Lady #1 has been strange from Day 1 so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Plant #1, which seems to be a different phenotype than the other 3, is showing lots of trichomes early on and the pistils are turning brown already! It is a much smaller plant with tiny 5-point leaves whereas the other plants have large fan leaves with 7 points. All the info that I have read on this auto strain says that there are 3 possible phenotypes that may present and flowering can take between 8 and 12 weeks. So far they seem healthy, no obvious nutrient issues.
