Crop_Top Starting this diary a little late into my first Hydro grow. Decided to build out a 20-Site RDWC room with a seperate control room (almost done with buildout). Invested in 4 HLG Scorpion Diablo LED Lights, Co2 setup, everything for the RDWC system, and a Quest70 dehumidifier. The buildout included insulating and sealing the room. All walls have Polymer Walls and backing with Mylar. Above the grow and control room I will be building out my drying room as well. Been doing none stop research on the best way to vent everything and hoping I got everything down for now, 🤞🏽!

Crop_Top Got 14 of the plants transferred over to the veg tent with the DWC container. Using 3in net pots with clay pebbles and a rockwool cube. Going with Advanced Nutrients throughout the grow.

Crop_Top Technically i transplanted at the end of the 2nd week of veg so nothing really to report different from last week. Planning on doing 4-6 weeks of veg. Then moving over to 5 gal buckets with 6in net pots for flowering.

Crop_Top Spent the entire week fighting to save these seedlings. Had some rooting issues (brown sludge) when I switched over from soil to hydro. Flushed everything 2 times and added some more airstones. Picked up some AN Revive and Hydrogaurd to try and help. Luckily it looks like I’m in the clear after the hydrogaurd came in. That stuff is worth every penny!
Will continue to watch things closely and monitor over the next week. Hoping to be able to transfer everything over to the grow room by the end of the next week. For now just going to work on keeping these things alive!
Building sealed room with co2, heat, fans, and portable ac. Thinking on a filtered intake vent and running exhaust fan on a timed schedule (2-3 times a day) to conserve co2. Can anyone make a diagram for a proper setup? Room is 8x12x8. RDWC 20 Site, 4 scorpion diablos, quest70.
Contact grow pros solutions they can get you set up with everything you need one of the things the specialize in is airflow in grow rooms. I’m sure they can give you some suggestions…
If you are using CO2, or just by your square footage, pay someone that knows what they're doing. First thing I'd do is run new breakers... That would be step 1 of maybe 500 or 1000 steps if doing this right, especially with the CO2 doping.

Crop_Top Plants bounced back quick! Topped the system off and added more nutes to get my levels right.
Scrambling to get the grow room done quickly as these plants are going to need more space in the next few days!
I will give a more detailed report next week and hopefully some pics of the completed room

Crop_Top Had to pick up some temporary buckets today as the grow room isn’t quite done just yet and the plants were getting cramped. Threw in some air stones and temp gauges to keep an eye on everything.
Still going with 50% on all nutrients for now to get a feel for the hydro setup. Giving it the next week to recover then will be switching everything over to flower. Doing the other half of the grow tomorrow after I setup another tent and light 😫🙄.

Crop_Top This week I drained all buckets and switched everything over to the flowering nutes. Just flipped over to 12-12. Grow room progress came along way but still have a few things left to wrap up. All plants are setup in 5 gallon dwc buckets and plants started to bounce back so far

Crop_Top Moved everything into the temporary DWC buckets and changed out the water for some fresh RO and nutes. Was noticing some minor deficiencies so backed of nutrients a little. Removed some huge fan leaves because they were taking over the plants and blocking light. Tossed up one of the scorpion Diablo lights and hooked it up to my AC Infinity 8- Outlet AI Power Supply. Dialed in the settings and got the light on a timer.
I’m most likely just going to finish this run in the temp. DWC buckets as I’m stuck waiting for a permit to run the electrical in the grow room 🙄🤦🏻♂️.
Already planning out what strains I’ll be running for the next grow. Huge shoutout to @Patricia_Zamnesia for the head start on some strains! After fighting with some of the 5 gallon buckets/uniseals in the RDWC setup i ended up just picking up 7 gallon bins and swapping everything out. After a couple grows in the RDWC I will end up picking up a @CurrentCulture420Grown 16 site setup. Just have to recoup a little after going over the top with this grow room build!
I’ll also be making some diy videos, grow content, and better tracking all my future grows to hopefully contribute to fellow growers and continue to learn more myself! Hoping to pickup a few sponsors in the near future to help showcase what can be done with a little effort when using quality equipment as well as sourced seeds with good genetics!
