Banana OG Auto #007

Brandenbluete English below Nachdem Ende der Woche Urlaub Anstand, hatte ich eigentlich gehofft die Banana OG schon weiter zuhaben. Aber mangels entsprechender Planung (und der 3 Pflanzen Regel) ging der Samen leider etwas später als geplant in die Erde.Zur Überbrückung des Urlaubs wurde ein Autopot-System installiert und über den Tank nur ph-reguliertes Leitungswasser gegeben, aus Angst dass die Bio-Dunger über die Woche kippen und mich am Ende eine wilde Mischinfektion in meinem Tank erwartet. Bzw mal schauen ob die Pflanze in ihrem jungen Stadium schon mit der automatischen Bewässerung von unten klar kommt. Mal schauen ob dass funktioniert oder ob ich damit meine OG dem Tot geweiht habe. Ich hoffe es klappt alles und wenn nicht hab ich was gelernt ------- Since I had a vacation coming up at the end of the week, I was hoping the Banana OG would be a bit further along by now. But due to some poor planning (and the 3-plant rule 😅), the seed went into the soil later than planned. To keep things running while I’m away, I set up an Autopot system and filled the tank with only pH-adjusted tap water — didn’t want the organic nutrients to spoil over the week and turn the tank into some funky bio-soup. Let’s see if the young plant can already handle bottom-feeding with the auto-watering system. Hopefully it works out — otherwise, at least I’ll learn something for next time! 🌱🤞

Brandenbluete English below Nach über 36h wach, 16h Reise davon 10 der Deutschen Bahn endlich zurück aus dem Urlaub ging es natürlich sofort an die Zelte. Der Pflanze ging es gut und außer dass sie etwas gespargelt war schien es als hätte der autopot + Sonnenerde die 8 Tage Abwesenheit super überbrückt. Da die Pflanze und das Wurzelsystem noch super klein sind habe ich den Autopot trotzdem erstmal wieder abgedreht und lasse die Pflanze etwas rücktrocknen. Außerdem habe ich dass Licht auf 50% angehoben und werden es im Laufe der Woche auf 400-600 PPFD einstellen, oder so gut es mir Photone au den Handy es halt erlaubt. -------- After being awake for over 36 hours and traveling for 16 of those (10 with Deutsche Bahn!), I finally made it back from vacation — and of course, the first thing I did was check on the tents. The plant was doing great! Apart from stretching a bit, it looks like the Autopot + Sonnenerde handled the 8 days of absence really well. Since the plant and its root system are still quite small, I’ve turned off the Autopot for now to let the medium dry out a little. I also increased the light to 50% and plan to dial it in to around 400–600 PPFD over the course of the week — or as close as I can get using Photone on my phone.

Brandenbluete English below Nachdem die Pflanze jetzt das erste Mal reguläre durch den Autopot bewässert wurde werde ich in den kommenden Tagen die automatische Bewässerung aktivieren. Ansonsten wird auch in diesem Run Experimentiert und die Pflanze wurde jetzt knapp über der Erde umgelegt. Mal schauen wie ich und die Pflanze damit klar kommen möglichst flach über der Erde gehalten zu werden. Ich hoffe so am Ende mehr in die Breite zu kommen und idealerweise eine 80*40 Hälfte des Zelts zu nutzen. ------- Now that the plant has been watered through the Autopot for the first time, I’ll be activating the automatic watering system in the next few days. As with every run, I’m experimenting a bit — this time, I’ve bent the plant just above the soil line. We’ll see how both the plant and I manage to keep her growing as low and flat as possible. My goal is to get her to spread out wider and ideally make full use of one 80x40 section of the tent.
