Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit habe ich endlich Platz im Zelt die living soil Bio Hanferde von Sonnenerde zu testen. Da ich vorhabe das ganze später mit einem Autopot System zu bewässern habe ich eine Drainage Schicht mit Blähton, gefolgt von Bio Hanferde und einer kleinen Mulde Biobizz light mix in die Stofftöpfe gepackt. Oben drauf dann noch eine Schicht Bio Faser Mulch und alles ist bereit für die Banana OG Auto con Humboldt Seed Co. Nach 2 Tagen im Wasserglas ging es in die Erde und weitere zwei Tage später zeigt sich der erste Trieb über der Erde. .

After what feels like an eternity, I finally have space in the tent to test the living soil organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde. Since I plan to water everything later using an Autopot system, I added a drainage layer of clay pebbles, followed by the organic hemp soil and a small pocket of Biobizz Light Mix in the fabric pots. On top, I added a layer of organic fiber mulch, and everything is now ready for the Banana OG Auto from Humboldt Seed Co.
After two days in a glass of water, the seed went into the soil, and another two days later, the first sprout appeared above the surface.

Brandenbluete Since I had a vacation coming up at the end of the week, I was hoping the Banana OG would be a bit further along by now. But due to some poor planning (and the 3-plant rule 😅), the seed went into the soil later than planned.
To keep things running while I’m away, I set up an Autopot system and filled the tank with only pH-adjusted tap water — didn’t want the organic nutrients to spoil over the week and turn the tank into some funky bio-soup.
Let’s see if the young plant can already handle bottom-feeding with the auto-watering system. Hopefully it works out — otherwise, at least I’ll learn something for next time! 🌱🤞

Brandenbluete Nach über 36h wach, 16h Reise davon 10 der Deutschen Bahn endlich zurück aus dem Urlaub ging es natürlich sofort an die Zelte. Der Pflanze ging es gut und außer dass sie etwas gespargelt war schien es als hätte der autopot + Sonnenerde die 8 Tage Abwesenheit super überbrückt. Da die Pflanze und das Wurzelsystem noch super klein sind habe ich den Autopot trotzdem erstmal wieder abgedreht und lasse die Pflanze etwas rücktrocknen. Außerdem habe ich dass Licht auf 50% angehoben und werden es im Laufe der Woche auf 400-600 PPFD einstellen, oder so gut es mir Photone au den Handy es halt erlaubt.

Nachdem die Pflanze jetzt das erste Mal reguläre durch den Autopot bewässert wurde werde ich in den kommenden Tagen die automatische Bewässerung aktivieren. Ansonsten wird auch in diesem Run Experimentiert und die Pflanze wurde jetzt knapp über der Erde umgelegt. Mal schauen wie ich und die Pflanze damit klar kommen möglichst flach über der Erde gehalten zu werden. Ich hoffe so am Ende mehr in die Breite zu kommen und idealerweise eine 80*40 Hälfte des Zelts zu nutzen.

Now that the plant has been watered through the Autopot for the first time, I’ll be activating the automatic watering system in the next few days.
As with every run, I’m experimenting a bit — this time, I’ve bent the plant just above the soil line. We’ll see how both the plant and I manage to keep her growing as low and flat as possible. My goal is to get her to spread out wider and ideally make full use of one 80x40 section of the tent.

Mal wieder zeigt sich meine Unentschlossenheit... Nachdem ich die Pflanze letzte Woche umgebogen hatte, war ich die Tage danach zunehmend unzufrieden mit dem Wachstum. Insgesamt habe ich dass Gefühl, dass durch meinen Urlaub in den ersten Lebenswochen die Pflanze erst stark ausgebremst wurde und dann verfrüht in die Blüte getriggert hat. Die letzten paar Tage hat sie im Wachstum nochmal ordentlich zugelegt. Mal schauen was aus ihr wird. Ich sollte in Zukunft wirklich Mal einen Plan machen und den dann auch durchziehen.

Once again, my indecisiveness is showing… After bending the plant last week, I became increasingly unhappy with its growth over the following days. Overall, I get the feeling that my vacation during the early stages really slowed the plant down and then caused it to enter flower a bit too early.
Over the past few days, though, it has started to pick up growth again quite nicely. We’ll see what she turns into. I really should make a plan next time — and actually stick to it!

Brandenbluete Oops I did it again. With my current light her stretch was to much a a decent ppfd level at the rest of the canopy. So super cropping it was and so far she is taking decently. Some purple petioles but knock on wood

Brandenbluete She is continuing to ripen. I would estimate her at 40:50:10 (clear:cloudy:amber). Let's see how she looks in a couple of days and then I will decide wether to let her stand past the holidays
