WaffleTerps Starting the Scarlet Flame project under the WaffleTerps name, growing Tropicanna Poison F1 Fast Version (Sweet Seeds).
The goal is to bring out its deep red hues and sweet, fruity aroma, aiming for a clean, balanced and high-quality result.
The grow is fully automated with the Spider Farmer Smart Grow System, controlling temperature, humidity, VPD and light intensity directly from the phone.
Using Top Crop Complete Mix substrate in 15.2 L Smart Pots, with active EC, temperature and soil-moisture sensors.
During the first week:
• Temperature: 22–25 °C
• Humidity: 75–85 %
• PPFD: ~270 µmol/m²/s (light at 20 %)
• Soil EC: 1.6–1.9 mS/cm
• CO₂: 600–900 ppm
All seedlings have germinated successfully 🌱
The bottle in the center contains an extra seed germinated “just in case”; if it thrives, I’ll let it grow right there as a small side test.
Everything’s stable so far — strong roots forming, healthy cotyledons, and balanced environment.
Next step: keeping humidity steady and preparing for the transition to vegetative growth.

WaffleTerps We’re still fine-tuning the environment this week humidity has been a bit low and the substrate temperature slightly high.
Any tip for this??
Today we started Week 2 (early vegetative) with the first nutrient mix.
Prepared 2.4 L of water (pH 6.0 / EC 1.0 / 21 °C) and added:
Bio-Grow – 2.4 mL
Root-Juice – 2.4 mL
Bio-Heaven – 1.2 mL
Atazyme – 2.4 mL
Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra – 3.6 mL
Watered 300 mL per plant (8 plants total) after filling pots with extra substrate for better root coverage.
Lights were increased to PPFD ≈ 375 µmol/m²/s, humidity is sitting around 70 %, and everything’s looking healthy and strong for this stage.
Thanks to everyone following the grow! Feel free to drop a comment or suggestion — always happy to learn and share the progress together.

WaffleTerps The girls are stacking tight with perfect node spacing and vibrant color. Environment is dialed in — VPD, CO₂, and light all in sync. They’re loving it! 💪
LST training is coming next to open up the canopy and push that explosive growth ahead. 🚀🔥

WaffleTerps This week, the garden truly came alive. Between November 3rd and 6th, I carried out the first LST session — the moment where control meets creativity. Each Tropicanna Poison F1 Fast Version was carefully bent and tied, shaping that signature Waffle Flame structure: low, wide, and perfectly balanced for future canopy expansion.
Every move was precise — no broken tissue, no stress, just smooth curves and perfect angles. Within 24 hours, the tops had already turned back toward the light, showing strong recovery and new lateral shoots reaching upward. The structure is now open and symmetrical, ready for the next step before installing the SCROG net.
Midweek, I performed a light, balanced watering, timed right when the pots felt lighter. EC was dialed at 1.0, pH around 6.1, ensuring clean nutrient uptake and proper oxygenation in the root zone. The plants responded immediately — vibrant color, strong leaf posture, and visible growth overnight.
The environment stayed consistent throughout the week: 25 °C, 60–65 % RH, and ~375 PPFD (31 % power) from the Spider Farmer G8600, maintaining compact, dense growth. And for the first time, a sweet, rich cannabis aroma started filling the tent — that early tropical scent that promises something special later on.
Everything is progressing smoothly and with precision. The structure, color, and overall health are exactly where they should be — the Waffle Flame project is unfolding beautifully.
