HydroLab-Germany *english version below* Blütewoche 3 – Das kontrollierte Chaos im Citrus-Labor Diese Woche hatte im Zelt etwas von einem wissenschaftlichen Versuch, der langsam beginnt, außer Kontrolle zu geraten – aber genau so, wie wir es wollen. Wachstum & Struktur Der Stretch hat sich nun offiziell beruhigt. Die Pflanzen tun jetzt so, als wären sie die ganze Zeit vollkommen zivilisiert gewesen. Statt Höhenrausch gibt’s nun fokussiertes Kraftbündeln in die Blüten. Das Dach ist mittlerweile eine homogene, grüne Welle, sauber ausgerichtet wie ein geordnetes Blatt-Array. Oben wurde schon etwas entlaubt – so viel, dass man es inzwischen kaum noch sieht, weil die Damen schneller nachlegen als man schneiden kann. Der große Eingriff steht aber noch aus: Lollipopping Phase II – die chirurgische Endrunde. Wenn der untere Bereich fertig freigestellt ist, bleibt nur noch pure Effizienzmaschine übrig: Stamm, Weg, Bud. Blütenentwicklung Die Blütenstände haben diese Woche einen riesigen Sprung gemacht. Von „Wir probieren mal was aus“ zu „Okay, jetzt legen wir richtig los“. Die Cluster sind gut verteilt, dicht, voller frischer, weißer Pistillen und alles schreit danach, dass die nächsten Wochen interessant werden. Und das Beste: Reib mal an einem Zuckerblatt – da kommt dir schon jetzt dieses knackige Zitronenterpen-Profil entgegen. So klar und frisch, dass es fast im Auge brennt… im positiven Sinne. Systemstatus – läuft wie ein Uhrwerk EC: stabil bei 1.5 Wassertemperatur: 19°C – Chiller arbeitet wie ein Kühlschrank auf Red Bull Raumtemperatur: 25°C RLF: 58–60% → perfekte VPD für frühe Blüte pH: brav stabil, keine wilden Ausreißer Technik-Showcase Die Under-Canopy-Beleuchtung sorgt jetzt für diesen „UFO-Unterboden-Glow“, der aussieht, als würden die Pflanzen gleich abheben. Das RDWC läuft absolut glasklar, O₂-Sättigung im Premiumbereich und die Mars Hydro oben drüber macht fleißig Druck. Und dann noch das neue Gadget: Dein Mikroskop. Ein Spielzeug, das vermutlich gefährlicher ist als jedes Add-On im Zelt, denn man will plötzlich ALLES analysieren: Harzköpfchen, Blattzellen, PPSI-Strukturen… und wahrscheinlich irgendwann auch, ob die Pflanzen heimlich zurückwinken. Fazit der Woche Blütewoche 3 bringt Stabilität, Aroma, Spannung und Vorfreude. Der Stretch ist vorbei, die Bühne gehört jetzt den Blüten – und die liefern. The IR heater is running, the nutrient solution heater is doing its job, and the chiller… well, the chiller has officially gone on vacation. ❄️😄 To keep heat in the system, exhaust airflow has been reduced, while humidity is actively controlled using a dehumidifier. A classic balancing act between heat retention and humidity management – but so far, it’s running surprisingly stable. 🌸 Plant Development Update The plants themselves remain largely unimpressed by the conditions. The flowers have clearly entered the ripening phase: noticeable mass build-up tighter, denser structures heavy resin production pistils turning color rapidly You can tell the focus has shifted. There’s no more stretching or expansion – it’s all about density, maturity, and quality now. And the smell? Hard to describe. Somewhere between sharp citrus, sweet pressure in the nose, and “maybe keep the window closed.” 😅 Nutrient Update Big Bud has now been fully replaced by Overdrive. This marks the beginning of the final stretch – less pushing, more finishing. EC has been intentionally reduced to ~1.4, keeping stress low and allowing metabolism to move cleanly toward maturity. Unterm Strich war Lemon Haze in diesem Run einfach ein Volltreffer. Von Anfang an hat der Strain gezeigt, dass er stabil, vital und absolut kooperativ ist – genau die Art Genetik, bei der man nicht ständig Feuer löschen muss, sondern wirklich „gärtnern und genießen“ kann. Das Wachstum war durchgehend sauber und vorhersehbar, die Pflanzen haben Training und Eingriffe gut weggesteckt und sind trotzdem stetig weiter marschiert, ohne lange zu zicken. In der Blüte hat Lemon Haze dann richtig abgeliefert: harzige Buds, schöne Struktur und dieses klassische „frosty“ Finish, das schon optisch Bock auf die Verköstigung macht. Die Colas wirken richtig ordentlich und die Gesamtoptik ist genau das, was man sich am Ende wünscht – gesund, reif, aromatisch wirkend und einfach nach Erfolg aussehend. Was mir besonders gefällt: Der Strain vermittelt über den ganzen Grow hinweg dieses Gefühl von Zuverlässigkeit. Kein unnötiges Drama, keine extreme Sensibilität – sondern solide Performance mit guter Endqualität. Wenn ich nach diesem Run ein Fazit ziehen müsste: Lemon Haze ist ein Strain, der Ertrag, Optik und Grow-Flow richtig gut zusammenbringt. Würde ich jederzeit wieder anbauen – und ich bin extrem gespannt, wie sich das Aroma und die Wirkung nach dem finalen Cure entwickeln.

A light trim was necessary, but when the ladies start to bloom, I'll go for a full shave so they look stylish in the summer and their assets stand out nicely. A little sugar on top, so they smell and taste great in the bloom of their lives. Alright, now onto the plants... they look good too. 😲

@HydroLab-Germany, that pheno back then was not only strongly lemon but also very haze-heavy. Someone had already grown it here, and they said it was a bit lacking in lemon. Maybe they also differentiate the phenos properly. SuperLemonHaze is still on my to-grow list. Back then, I was just a freeloader and just enjoyed the taste 😄
