PapaTerps Day 1 - As always, she'll start her journey in a glass of water; seed popped out of its container and dropped into a plain glass of water, placed in a dark cool room.
Day 3 - nice long Taproot, so I've placed her straight into her main grow pot; a 20L fabric pot.
Day 4 - 100ml of plain RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3 and I've placed a humidity dome on her to help keep the percentage up ππ» her leaves are currently facing the soil, but she should correct this in a couple of days.
Day 6 - I've given her another 100ml of water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. Shes stretching and her first leaves are now pointing up towards the light; which is providing around 300 PPFD. I'd say it'll be another few days before she's in veg.
Day 9 - I've upped her watering to 300ml. She starting to show her first set of leaves, so on from here, I'll consider her in veg week 1.

Day 19 - I've upped her watering from 250ml to 500ml and I've started to introduce grow nutrients along with the usual nutrients; I've also started to reduce the root nutrients as we don't need that anymore. ph came to 6.2 naturally, so I left her at that ππ» slight smell coming from her now, especially when you touch her leaves. She is now growing her fifth set of leaves and lower nodes have started to appear - I'd say she'll be ready for some training by the end of this week.

Day 26 - Watered with 500ml of RO tap water with defined nutrients, ph came to 6.1 naturally and I don't like playing PH tennis, so I left it at that ππ» she's getting big, but she's a little too compact, so I've removed her starter leaves and two of her larger fan leaves to allow more light to get to her lower nodes. She's a little too small to start any grow techniques, but I have her down for some LST later in the week.

Day 41 - Watered with 2 litre of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. I continued using the LST method to improve light penetration to the lower nodes, however, I went a little too hard on one of the lowest stems, and I accidently broke one of her branches off... π
Notes:
- I've removed a few of her fan leaves to allow more light to reach her lower nodes, I have also removed a couple of the lowest nodes, as they'd never amount to anything..
- Shes growing slowly but surely, I'd say another week or so, and she'll be ready for the 12/12 schedule!

Day 49 - Watered with 2 litre of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She's growing really well, to the point where I had to remove a lot of her leaves and a couple of her stems. I'd say she'll be ready for flower this week, Im just waiting for the Kush Mass to finish, which will free up space in my flowering tent.
Notes:
- she required a lot of Defoliation this week, as her leaves were large and plentiful.
- she's growing really well,

Day 56 - Today, she was watered with 2 litre of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. As you can see from the pictures, she has joined the Black Cherry Gushers in the flowering tent, so from this week, she has began her 12/12 light schedule.
She was quite big, so I've had to remove a couple of her stems and she required a good bit of defolation, as her fan leaves had overtaken the canopy. She will now remain in this tent for the rest of her lifecycle.

Day 61 - Watered with 2 litre of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She has started to show signs of bloom, so from this week on, she will be in flower πͺπ»π
Much like the Black Cherry Gushers, her tent partner, she grew over 20cm this week, so a lot of Defoliation required, to remove all nodes and branches which were too far away from the light source and/or blocked by the canopy ππ»
Notes:
- you can see on her bud sites, the colour change in her leaves, from green to dark green/blue (see 2nd picture)
- her aroma is beginning to fill the tent, but it is still a little weak. But is smells good!

Day 66 - Watered with 2 litre of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. From next week, I will be upping her watering volume to 3 litres, as she is starting too look for more. Her growth has been astonishing so far; doubling her size in three weeks! You'll also notice the netting on her, I've applied learnings from a previous grow, where the weight of bud in late flower broke stems, so I've put that on her today to help separate bud sites and to also provide support to her later in her lifecycle. Her bud sites have started to pop up all over her now too, which is crazy quick, considering she has only been on a 12 hour light schedule for just three weeks!
Notes:
- No defoliation this week, as she had a big cut last week, so for now, she just growsπ
- she has started to release her aroma into the tent and she smells divine!
- she seems to be growing 8cm a day!

Day 74 - Watered with 3 litres of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She had a massive growth spurt this week and was stretching so fast, I had began plan's to bend her main stem, but thankfully she finished that and is now focusing on developing her bud sites πͺ This week, I removed a few leaves, but other than that, I've just let her do her thing.π

Day 80 - Watered with 3 litres of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She has stopped stretching and is now focusing on developing her flower, and her smell is starting to shine; very candy minty. She has a big beautiful structure with great internodal spacing! I have high hopes for her yieldπ€π»
Notes:
- She has been moved into the 3x3 on a 12 hour light schedule, to give her more space.
- I have added under canopy lights to help increase the PPFD at the lower bud sites.
- no training or defoliation performed this week, I'm just letting her growππ»
- I have the exhaust fan attached directly above her main stem, which about 15cm from the top of the tent, to force more airflow around her.
- the light is as it's highest setting, but thankfully she is no longer stretching; I may have vegged her for too long
PapaTerps Blue Zushi - Dutch Passion
Day 96 - Watered with 3 litres of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She required extensive defoliation this week, to allow more light to reach the lower bud sites. She is bulking really well and is probably just about finished, so I'm expecting her to begin the maturity process now ππ»

Day 103 - Watered with 3 litres of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order (starting with BioGrow and finishing with CalMag) and then pH'd to 6.3. She has bulked up really well and her main stem now requires a little bit of support! She is still bulking in her some of lower bud sites, and has not yet had a colour change, so I will continue to water her with full nutrients until this happens, or when her trichomes start to turn amber ππ»
She is so tall that she might need to be harvested in two phases, just to give her lower bud sites more time with higher PPFD. I'll have to manage her nutrients differently than normal, as she won't get a flush for her first phase harvest... I'll figure it out! Most people agree that reducing Nitrogen in the nutrients is enough to remove toxins that affect the flavour and potency of her bud.

Day 106 - Watered with 5 litres of RO tap water, with a reduced number of defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She has reached a stage now (around week 8-9 of flower), where I'm happy to start the flush process, so I'm easing her off the nutrients now and from her next watering, she will get no nutrients at all - this should take about ten days, after which I will harvest her πͺπ». Not much work done on her this week, just a couple of leaves removed around the top bud sites to improve light penetration ππ»

Day 113 - She is flush, so today I've just watered with 6 litres of RO tap water ππ» I've removed her top most cola as it was ready to harvest and to allow the lower colas to get the most amount of light over the next couple of days! The top cola weighed about 65 grams and is currently drying in a dark cool room with temps between 18-20 degrees celsius and relative humidity set at around 60% - when the rest of her is harvested in a couple of days, she will follow the same process ππ»
This one was an absolute pleasure to grow, she has big heavy colas covered from head to toe in sticky resin and her aroma is next level, one of the loudest aromas I have ever smelt! Very tropical citrusy with a spiciness to it, I really hope her smoke is similar to her smell
She requires a good amount of work, but was still quite easy to grow, curing out a nice harvest of 507 grams in total! I would recommend 3-4 weeks of veg with some LST and topping to ensure an even canopy and a bigger yield, as she shoots up pretty quickly; lucky for me, she didn't outgrow the tent this time!
So far, she is a 10/10 - she will now be dried for ten days in a cool dark room, with temperature range of 18-21 degrees celsius and a humidity level of about 60%, before being moving into large glass jar for her cure - this will take about a month at which point, I will review her smoke

PapaTerps Blue Zushi - Dutch Passion
Day 117 - Harvest Day ππ She has been in flush for just over ten days now, receiving just plain RO tap water pH'd to 6.3. Her trichomes are all milky and her pistils have turned a nice amber colour and have started to retreat back into the bracts! Some of her bracts have turned a purple colour too, so it makes some of her colas look like a bunch of grapes, which is very pretty to look at! Her aroma is maybe her best trait, it fills the room with a delicious tropical citrus smell, one of the best aromas I have smelled from a grow!
For this harvest, I performed a wet trim, removing all of her fan leaves and wild sugar leaves as well as all stems before weighing her and laying her out to dry. She will be dried in a layered drying rack in a cool dark room, with temperatures ranging from 19-21 degrees celsius and a humidity of between 58% and 62% for ten days, after which, she will be cured in glass jars for at least one month ππ»
Excellent results from the defoliation! She's really opened up and those buds are developing so tight and heavy. The way you manage the canopy is really impressive. Would love to see your full process! π±
