ThePurpleAlchemist 10/30/2025-These 4 seeds represent the start of another journey! This will be my 2nd indoor grow and I'm very excited to use what I learned from the last grow. Tropical Cooler is a cross between Purple Punch and Blue Dream s2. The nose/aroma is supposedly Pineapple Mango Fruit Punch. I LOVE fruity terps so this is right up my alley and I'm hoping it lives up to Atlas's description of it! It's supposed to be quite frosty also. One small thing I'm worried about is the size part, this cross leans on the Sativa side so it could be a stretcher for sure and my tent is only 48 in tall 😶 I'm starting with 4 seeds but I will be only taking one all the way to flower. After a 24-48 hour soak, I'm going to put them in solo cups with pro mix and grow them a little bit. Then I will pick my favorite and get rid of the others. 11/1/2025- All 4 seeds had a tiny taproot sticking out of them when I put them in the solo cups so I'm pretty sure we should have 100% germination rate on these. Now time to see who has the most umph in her!

ThePurpleAlchemist 11/3/2025- All 4 seeds have sprouted their lil heads out the soil 😁 they're all looking healthy! Once they get their first set of leaves, I will start introducing nutrients at like 1/4 strength and see how they react. I'm excited to see who is going to do the "best" I feel like #4 is my low key favorite, for no reason really either lol but that's who I am rooting for! I'll be happy either way though!😁 11/07/2025- It's been 5 days since they've sprouted up and they all seem to be doing good. #3 was in the lead in terms of growth by a tiny bit for a while but it looks like the others have caught up to it now. I've been thinking about it and I might take 2 to flower instead of just one and keep them in 1 gal pots so they don't get too big for my tent. Do any of ya'll have any thoughts on if I should do 1 or 2 plants? 11/09/2025- The first week is officially done for these gals! They're definitely growing faster than my Sundae Driver did. For the SD, I sprouted it in FF OF soil which was probably way too hot for a seedling, for these ones, I put them in straight ProMix HP and have been giving them water with a tiny bit of Stash Blend in it. I've also been trying to make sure my VPD is dialed in for seedling growth. I've been keeping it a bit hotter than last time also. sticking around the low 80s with my RH about the same/a bit lower. I do have one plant that has droopy leaves... I'm not sure what the issue is, the next set of leaves are still growing so we will keep an eye on her and if she doesn't recover then she will be one of the culled! Happy growing to all my Growmies out there!! 😁

ThePurpleAlchemist 11/12/2025- Welcome to Week 2 everybody! All in all, things are going smoothly so far, we made it past the "dangerous" part where the seedling is at it's weakest and a lot can take it out if you're not careful. They seem to be growing pretty vigorously. I compared pictures to my last grow and they seem to be roughly 2 days ahead of my last plant in terms of growth. #1 is looking the best IMO, she is ahead in growth by just a lil bit and she is the shortest out of all 4 of them so me likey that! I do have some wonky leaves kinda which could be from being too dry, one plant had droopy leaves too but after feeding them for the first time, the droopiness has stopped. I run my lil humidifier quite a bit but it goes through water quick and I have to use store bought distilled water or else I'll get mineral residue everywhere. I'll be topping them after the 6th node I think and then I'll start thinking about transplanting. Hope everybody's grows are going good! Peace ya'll! 😁 11/16/2025- Alright we have made our final selections! The 2 plants in the bigger pots will be staying and the 2 in the solo cups are getting the boot!

ThePurpleAlchemist 11/19/2025- Well ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the 2 chosen phenos! They were chosen solely because of their height and node spacing. All 4 plants were growing pretty much identical besides one being slightly shorter so it was tough throwing out the other 2 but oh well. I transplanted the chosen 2 into 1 liter pots, these will be there final home since I'm tight on space in my tent. This grow is about testing the limits of my tent and seeing what I can get away with. I also topped both plants at the 6th node. I'm thinking I will flip to flower at the end of week 5. Stay tuned and happy growing to everyone!😁

ThePurpleAlchemist 11/27/2025-Well with the holidays coming up, my work schedule changed to 10 hour shifts and I got a little behind on watering and taking a picture. They are also growing like crazy, the bottom growth is jamming into the giant fan leaves... I don't really like having 2 plants in there honestly, it's already getting crowded in there and were not even half way there yet 😅 I'm pretty sure they will be alright but I'm still dreaming of a bigger tent/light. I think they should even out with a little more growth and training. 11/28/2025- They are looking much better now. We're flipping to 12/12 at the beginning of next week. I can already tell that this tent is going to packed full! 😱😅

ThePurpleAlchemist 12-06-2025- These girls are growing like crazy! They seem to be enjoying and reacting well to the feeding schedule. The one in the back right always looks super happy, almost always praying to the light. I flipped to flower about a week ago, I wanted to make sure I have plenty of room for the stretch. So far I'm feeling good about there height, should be a good week or 2 of vertical growth and then it should switch to focus on bud production. This time I didn't wait to switch over to the Bloom nutes. Last grow I continued feeding Grow nutes 2 weeks into 12/12 before switching over to Bloom. I did it this way mainly just to experiment and see if it makes any difference. I'm super geeked to see bud start to form and colors start to change, exciting stuff!
