DerEkstaseHase Almost at the end, unfortunately still hardly any color changes, but the trichomes are incredible!

DerEkstaseHase This week I swapped the 160w lamp for a 50w lamp. The plant is now being unloaded and after two days, the light stays off. This time I will leave the plant in the substrate in the dark for 48 hours, then cover the soil and hang the plant upside down with the root ball. After the last light cycle, the plant will also be stripped of all fan leaves.
The mother plant is harvest-ready and dried!
Next, the flowers need to be trimmed and cured.
After two weeks, I smoked a bud in a joint.
The smoke quality is extremely pleasant, and I was surprised by a delicious note of citrus fruits.
All in all, a successful grow, with 161g on the scale!

Curing in Terplock Bags
I reused a bag that had already been used and the result was still excellent!
DerEkstaseHase Foxtailing - temp. 26-27°C
Due to some watering issues last week we got some salt buildup.
Drain Ph has risen to 6.6 and Ec peaked at 2.9 mS/cm
This week I gave the plants more water and checked drain frequently. It went back down to 1.8 and Ph came down to 6.3.

DerEkstaseHase The fattening phase is almost complete, and now the plant needs to mature. In the last two weeks, I've been lowering the EC value in the watering. Since the buds are getting heavy and starting to droop, I've installed another SCROG net.
One plant is showing burn marks on the tips of the leaves and also on the sugar leaves! I'll keep an eye on this in the coming days; it could be that a stronger salt buildup has dissolved but wasn't flushed out of the substrate, causing the stress. The pH of the drain from this plant is noticeably high and was at 7.0 during the last measurement.

DerEkstaseHase End of ripening - Leaves are turning yellow, trichomes are turning amber.
Only a few days left until the harvest.
The salt buildup in the substrate is going well, a slight drift in pH and a 0.3-0.4 mS/cm higher EC in the drain.
In a few days, I will stop watering, and the plants will be allowed to dry out in the substrate.

DerEkstaseHase What a journey!
The second harvest, 1 seed - 7 plants!
The 6 cuttings are ready for harvest after 72 days of flowering, two were cut with the root ball, the other 4 were cut at the stem and hung upside down.
I treated one of my 6 plants a bit too aggressively during LST. By twisting the branches and the poor LST, the root-stem connection was damaged, causing the plant to barely transport any moisture to the upper areas and resulting in a very low yield.
Plant 1: 43.5 - in grams
Plant 2: 101
Plant 3: 73.6
Plant 4: 57.6
Plant 5: 88.9
Plant 6: 62.1 +
----------------------------
426.7 grams
Mother plant: 161.8 grams
Total: 588.5 grams dry weight :)
Finished flower:
The smell was really very strong but pleasant. Upon opening the bag, I immediately noticed a clear lemon note.
The taste is absolutely recommended for anyone who prefers lemony notes!
The effect is strong and euphoric, great for the day.
I also highly recommend (!!!), hang the plant with roots up and give it 13-14 days to dry. Complete senescence has an incredible impact on taste and smokeability. Thanks to root ball drying, there was no throat irritation even when consuming from a bong!
10/10 recommendation! Root ball drying!!!!!!
Hello Grower, welcome to my Diary for the Mimosa x Orange Punch. Indoor grow on Coco/Perlite with structured plant training, early training for even space utilization, consistent lollipopping after the stretch, and targeted defoliation only in defined phases. Watering was done daily with drainage, EC and pH were continuously monitored, and the nutrient strategy is based on the Lucas formula with progressive nitrogen reduction in late flowering. Climate, light intensity, and interventions were continuously adjusted, with decisions based on measurements, plant reactions, and trichome development aimed at a controlled, clean finish.
