MagicJuice First batch of seeds didn’t take. Started a new one had to address heat mat overheating on the wooden desk. This Pic is 2nd day above soil. Removed shell Last night. Today she looks very similar but a little more green hoping for her to take off before weeks over

You can take them off if you like without affecting the plant. They have done their job and will naturally shrivel up and fall off in time.

You are in coco. What nutrients are you going to use? Do you have them yet? Was the coco buffered?

@sanibelisl, I’m using 3 part flora series from general hydroponic with cal-mag and a Silica. I did buffer the coco prior to planting. Also this is 3rd day and she still looks just like that maybe a little bigger. I’ve only watered her with plain water no nutes yet

@MagicJuice, fyi, it is extremely important to mix in the proper order... if using silica it is first and it needs to sit for a while(1hr)before adding anything else, then calmag , base nutrients , the additives and a couple of minutes in between each is helpful for a proper mix... silica will only need to be used maybe twice..good luck
