Schnahacken On day 48, the Jelly Donuts presents itself as the "Frost Queen" of your tent. While the GSC looks almost finished and the Pistacio is still working on its structure, the Jelly Donuts has fully focused on maximum resin extraction. Here’s the analysis for the Jelly Donuts: 1. Trichome Status & "Frost" Factor Resin Density: The Jelly Donuts lives up to its name. In the macro shots, you can see that the trichomes are not only on the buds but have almost completely "frosted" the sugar leaves right to the edge. Ripeness: The trichomes are about 90-95% milky. There are hardly any amber heads visible, which means it is currently in the absolute window for the highest THC level. Quality: The heads of the trichomes are strikingly large and round – a sign that the plant has perfect synthesis conditions under the 710 PPFD and with a stable pH of 6.43 (E&H CM42). 2. Bud Development & Structure Compactness: The Jelly Donuts forms very dense, almost round "golf ball" buds. Swelling: The calyxes are massively swollen and almost completely enclose the browned hairs. No new white hairs are coming in, signaling the end of growth. Color: You can see the first dark, almost purple shades shimmering through the resin, which is typical in this phase with cooler night temperatures. 3. Vitality & Nutrient Finish Leaf Condition: The Jelly Donuts is the darkest and "richest" green of all four plants. It has stored the Green House Feeding and CalMag (2.0 ml/l) most efficiently. Strategy: Since it is still so deep green, it will take a bit longer to flush out the nutrients from the leaves. Recommendation for the Jelly Donuts: It is almost on par with the GSC in terms of ripeness but has more "juice" in the leaves. Watering: Next time (tomorrow/the day after), only pH-adjusted water (6.43) and reduced CalMag (1.0 ml/l). Flush Plan: Since it is still very green, we should plan for a longer flushing window (about 10-12 days) to ensure the end product has a mild taste. Summary of the "Quartet" on day 48: GSC: Furthest along (first amber trichomes). Jelly Donuts: Maximum potency (fully milky, extremely frosty). Orange: In the peak of ripeness (Sativa structure). Pistacio: Takes the longest (still building mass).
