Frozen Black Cherry

KuaerSchlaeger Week one. Small and nice. The root has reached the drainage holes. I think in a few more days she can move into the big pot.

KuaerSchlaeger Not much has been happening this week. The little one has rooted through the 0.15l pot and has now been placed in her new home where she will stay until the end.

KuaerSchlaeger So far so good. She's growing and thriving, has taken the repotting well. She's looking healthy and makes a strong impression. I'm really curious to see how she develops further.

KuaerSchlaeger Grows and thrives. It's growing strong and producing mass, beautiful huge fan leaves.

KuaerSchlaeger Today the little one was topped and a bit defoliated so the new shoots can see some light 😅 The FBC looks like it's going to become a real monster, the leaves are getting gigantic. In a few days, I'll start with LST, and next week I think I'll switch to flowering.

KuaerSchlaeger The topping was handled really well, and the LST is being accepted without any fuss. Flowering was initiated 2 days ago, and the nutrients were slightly adjusted. Let's go! 😁

KuaerSchlaeger Flowering was initiated a week ago and the first signs of hairs are visible. In the last 5 days, it has stretched by 5cm and had a little haircut appointment 😅

KuaerSchlaeger Here we go into week 3. The transition took a bit longer, which I attribute to the temperatures since everything took longer than usual. Now the little hairs are finally here, and the flowering is starting. Other than that, everything's cool, and soon she'll be lollipopped.

KuaerSchlaeger Week 4. The flowering is now in full swing and the buds are getting hairier. Four days ago, I gave the sweet girl a complete buzz cut and did some serious lollipopping 😅, which she handled super well and has visibly grown again. Her thirst has noticeably increased, so she now gets 3 liters of water every 3 days. I'm raising the temperatures now, both day and night. Occasionally, I pull the threads a bit tighter to keep the shoots nicely spaced. Starting next week, I'll slowly introduce additional lighting from my two UV-B tubes.

KuaerSchlaeger The Cherry is also slowly getting into full bloom and already smells a bit fruity. It handled the Lollipopping well and is looking good overall. Starting Monday, the UV-B irradiation will begin with 20 minutes daily.

KuaerSchlaeger My little Cherry Lady has now put everything she has into the production of buds and trichomes, they are getting bigger, stickier, and emitting a sweet smell. The UV-B exposure is now at 30 minutes a day.

KuaerSchlaeger Our little Frozen Black Cherry isn't showing as impressive of a flowering development as the others and is producing smaller but super resinous buds, but there could still be a lot coming in the next few weeks. The additional UV-B exposure time is now at 50 minutes.

KuaerSchlaeger Die Frozen Black Cherry hat eine recht eigene Blüteproduktion, sie sind bislang ziemlich klein aber Extrem Harzig. Riecht aber lecker nach Beeren und einem guten Touch Kirsche. In 2 Wochen wissen wir woran wir bei ihr sind. Die UV-B Bestrahlung liegt bei 65 Minuten und steigert sich noch langsam.

KuaerSchlaeger The Cherry is ready to start its last week. Unfortunately, the buds are a bit small here too, but they are extremely frosty. Its thirst is gone, and there's only pH-adjusted water left. The UV-B exposure is at 90 minutes and will stay at this level now. The next update will come after the harvest or drying, which means the end of this diary.

KuaerSchlaeger The Frozen Black Cherry is ready. A week of drying at 52% RH and 18 degrees was enough for the little buds. Unfortunately, it wasn't as fond of the cold as others. Still, I can live with the result; it tastes great and hits hard 😜. Now the flowers will spend about 10 more weeks in the GroveBags.
