10-15 she took a beating last week in SOME RAIN...I got her coverd for the last few days which would have been the worst of it for her...today we had sun and first day of no rain finally...im going to give her a heavy feeding(feed water feed water) schedule and see what happens with her...but her smell has really picked up...you can tell she is a relative of THC BOMB but she has a WEIRD (for lack of better words) twang...its not quiet fruity but yet it partly is...I DO NOT WANT to just jump to the bubble gum conclusion just yet its an IMPORTANT part of this review...I believe the odds are very good at this point it will AWESOME and I'm also trusting the other results I have obtained from previously in this diary in part as well but guys I'm trying to remain skeptical on the bubblegum flavor and have tried other strains to compare too just never grown any...anyways she is an outside grow...all of my conditions are up in the air right now...fall is here in my area full scale...I would also guess there isn't much left of the soil as long as she has been in it...we will she what happens during flushing...not there just yet though...
10-23...outside growing changes on a dime...the rain took its toll...I noticed powdery mildew forming...she quit drinking...next day it was game over...RIP gorgeous it was a good fight...I will look after your children (clones) with the utmost care...her buds were still so under developed there was nothing to try and save at this point...I feel I failed her as a grower and am confused on what to do for my review for BOMB SEEDS...I got slammed with rain and high humidity afterwards for the last month...this is not in any type of AWARDS running so I believe I will just no longer update this and not provide any type of further review to be fair to bomb seeds and the integrity of my grows...mold/mildew happens...the genetics were still there and I put ALOT of TLC and work into this girl as anyone can see...I would rather be honest about what happened and politely decline providing any type of false or misleading review...there should be a harvest option for this situation on here so as not to have to provide an unfair review of genetics...as far as my numbers I could care less about how good they are but more about how accurate...this is in no way an attempt to give misleading numbers towards a respected breeder or for myself and if anyone thinks I should end this differently let me know...We don't like to show our failures but this is one of mine but I still have clones from this plant in an indoor grow...Hopefully things go a little better and I will give Bubble Bomb a fair review there...sorry guys!!!
@Sillyasswhitedude,I just commented on your comment, and don't wish to repeat myself....
90% of quality ( of course in my little humble opinion) is determined by the GENETICS ....
I have some bomb seeds , they are on the list ! Good luck , autos are sensitive to nutrients and ph , my advice use half strength nutrients and ph 6.5 π
@Green_inda_scene, thanks...this one kinda grew herself and doesn't share or play well with others but I'm hoping in the end she was worth it...I am impressed with BOMB SEEDS genetics and most of the credit should go to them my friend...I'm just doing my small part.
@Sillyasswhitedude, Fair enough. The seed banks I shop from are all verified by the breeders. Most of the stuff I've grown is honestly local from Colorado or came from Washington as well as California. I've only recently started growing other genetics from outside the the west coast. It's only recently that the breeders have started actually communicating with the growers out there. It's nice to have some contact with them here. Before you could email breeders for months and they'd almost never respond. Now, since grow diaries started, they'll DM you and ask how things are going and if everything arrived. It's nice that things are changing to be more communicable and personable.
@DabCrab, I like to order direct from the companies...One reason is if I like what they have enough then I may as well get THEIR freebies and more strains in the process of spending my money...more bang for the buck that way...and the second reason is because I feel its necessary to provide and accurate review of the seed company...so for this diary and any of mine in the future I hope you all know that when I hit that harvest button and I give my review its in ALL aspects that the company is being reviewed...not just yield and quality but in all manners of how they conduct business...I WILL NOT EVER ORDER FROM A SEEDBANK so that my reviews from start to finish are as fair and accurate as possible and to the best of my ability!!!!!
@Sillyasswhitedude, I have always paid for the stealth. I got told tough luck by seed supreme. Thats where I got them from back then. I have since found in state seed banks and other companies in the US that are doing the same if not better work. I still had to give those Bomb seeds a try regardless because I felt the need to grow them, lol.
I've been using www.NeptuneSeedBank.com lately for my genetics hunting.
thanks man...I had a trip to the garden store planned to get a drying rack but she finished before I could get there(almost an hour and a half away)...I thought about using some clothes hangers but what is the fun in that??? π I was waitin for some one to catch it and wonder WTF?
I am super happy with this first grow...I wish I woulda have known about growdiaries when I first started but I didn't....with that said I had enough info to fill in my previous weeks but since I had 3 strains growing this grow was never about or even crossed my mind for diary of the month...as harvest time for me gets closer I would like to say that I DO NOT feel this diary is deserving to be entered into Diary Of the Month...I paid for my seeds and my soul purpose with this diary is to provide a fair and accurate review of them...I have plenty more and will re run these strains in diaries that WILL qualify for Diary Of the Month however this one does not...so please if this by mistake gets into the Awards section I am asking...Please give your vote to someone more deserving and who followed the guidelines to compete...and if you guys didn't know BOMB SEEDS picks their own diary of the month if your growing any of their strains...I won that for last month and that's cool enough for me on my first grow ever!!!!Happy Growing EVERYONE!!!
Left is thc bomb auto...middle is bubble bomb not an auto(was a free seed so figured what the hell)...and on the right is berry bomb auto...I started them slowly on nutrients but seen explosive growth right after I did...they started off looking pretty nasty and I had no clue about ph or needing nuts...This is my first grow...with that said the berry bomb had burn spots on it at week 1 and 2 I'm guessing from poor ph and lack of being able to get any nuts...and from my ignorance mostly I'm sure...however not only did she come out of it but she seems to have fully healed herself and I cant find any spotting on her now...
@@@Tryhard_grower, she was easy to grow...I got right at 2 ounces my friend...I did nothing in the way of trimming training or topping...I gave her half yard dirt half Walmart special and grew her with love...she looked rough for the first two weeks and I had to wait on nutes in the mail...on a wing and a prayer when she started getting her food she thrived...this was a complete total noob grow for me...my next round I believe I will be able to get them off to a far better start and have gained much knowledge...I did see some signs of color changes in both these auto strains and would love to see someone try to get the color changes...im not able to set up to do so unfortantly at the moment...im currently running two clones...one in fox farms one in yard dirt...were I live its farmland...don't think I'm weird please but I think we have damn good dirt here...im gonna get a diary up to show what I mean in the next few days...
@@@Tryhard_grower, I feel the exact same way about the BERRY BOMB auto I grew...you should give them a run if you have the setup for color changes would love to see it man!!!
But I'll be sure to document EVERY ASPECT down to the microscopic level next season.
You think this one was big??
It's a bonsai tree compared to what I'll be growing next season-watch and learn.....
@Sillyasswhitedude,π you can't give me all the credit. Those ideas came from others. The thing is they work great.
I wish you all the luck bro ππ
@Bigpun, I will be running the cherry bomb auto soon...you can look Bomb Seeds up under breeders on here and follow them and see everyone growing their strains...There are a few guys that have some way nicer grows going on right now that I'm watching very closely...I'm going to see what I can pick up and learn from them before I re run these autos again but I will say that Bombs genetics are on point and their descripions are accurate...If you want to give them a serious go order direct and take advantage of getting THEIR freebies instead of going through a seedbank...You will get more bomb strains to start that way!!!!!
This is a KILLER looking grow. I see some experience shining through here. Nice job! I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now. It would be cool if you would follow along and make a suggestion or two. - Zannabis7
Haha beautiful drop rig you have there doubt you will catch any fish though there is too much weight on your line π
Seen the fishing line enlarged the pic and spotted the rod. Grow on Fish on!
Really nice fellaππΌ
Oh, by the way, organic nutrients are good, but, they don't have enough nitrogen at the beginning of the grow-sometimes, you need to go outside organic, in order to obtain the optimum results-at least that's what I've found in my experience....
@Sillyasswhitedude, I'm actually considering an experiment next season.
I'm thinking of purchasing quality genetics, growing two identical strains, exact same grow medium, same sun exposure, same watering routine, only, I will use only organic nutrients with one, and commercial nutrients for the other-that will be the ONLY difference.
I'm anxious to try this!!!!!
@Sillyasswhitedude, another thing about outdoor growing is the costs associated with it.
I purchase quality genetics, mix my own grow medium, don't purchase pre-made organic nutrients ( there are other ways to make your own organic nutrients), electricity, the odors in your house, children, fire hazzard( if you don't know what you're doing), constant maintenance, etc, etc.....
I do see the benefits of growing indoors-the main benefit is that it allows you to grow during the winter months ( in my humble opinion), you can TOTALLY contol every aspect-from lighting, CO2, longer vegetative growth periods, and basically alter Mother Nature to suit what your girls need-it is indeed quite a novel concept.....
