Apothecarian Fri Apr 19 - I germinated the seeds. I put the seeds into water with ChitoSal and Microbial Mass Pro.
Day 1 - 1 litre of water + 2.50ml of Chitosal + 0.25ml of Microbial Mass Pro
- Set up the propagator, on a heat mat set to 26°C, in the grow tent with the lights off, heat set to 24°C and
humidity at 65%
- Poured the water in to a bowl with seeds, let sit for 35 min as per Instructions on Chitosal
- Put seeds into papertowel and into an open ziploc bag, then poured the water containing Chitosal &
Microbial Mass Pro onto the papertowel, then poured the rest of the water into a spray bottle to keep the
papertowel moist
Sat Apr 20 - I took a look at the seeds. It's been about 24 hours. There doesn't appear to be any difference as of yet.
Day 2 Previous grows, the seeds had a tap root showing or were splitting open to reveal the tap root
- I'm always nervous when germinating. I really like to get 100% of the seeds to germinate.
- I'm keeping the papertowel moist with the spray bottle containing ChitoSal & Microbial Mass Pro.
Sun Apr 21 - 3 of the seeds have a tap root showing and the other 1 looks like it'll emerge tomorrow
Day 3 - I will plant the 3 tap root seeds into their grow plugs and I'll leave the other 1 until tomorrow
- I took the grow plugs and used a 1/4 inch drill bit to drill out the holes a bit better. I find the pre-drilled
holes in the plugs are too small to safely put the tap roots in with risking breakage
- After putting the seed with the tap root pointing down, I take a small piece of the grow plug and fill in
hole so that light doesn't directly hit the seed. This causes the seed to grow better in search of light.
- I dumped out the spray bottle and filled it with water only containing Microbial Mass Pro. As per the
ChitoSal instructions, it shouldn't be used until 1 week prior to flowering.
- I always forget to scuff the seeds first, but in the end, the seeds always germinate for me so I'm not sure
it's necessary.
- My method of using the CitoSal and Microbial Mass Pro has been giving me 100% success. Why change it?
Mon Apr 22 - The last tap root emerged so I planted it in the grow plug.
Day 4 - I sprayed the plugs to re-moisten them.
- 2 seedlings are about to emerge from the grow plugs so I removed the seed shells as they were stuck
Tue Apr 23 - The seedlings are starting to emerge from the grow plugs. I pulled off the seed shells where necessary
Day 5 - I sprayed the seedlings and plugs to re-moisten them.
Wed Apr 24 - The seedlings are now all emerged from the grow plugs. Roots are already protruding out from the grow plugs
Day 6 and some of the seedlings have roots that are 8 inches long. It's all due to the Microbial Mass Pro. Ever since I've
using it, the roots grow way longer and way faster while it's a seedling, making it ready sooner for repotting.
Thu Apr 25 - The seedlings all look great
Day 7 - I will be repotting the seedlings tomorrow into their grow bags

Apothecarian Fri Apr 26 - I filled the grow bags with soil. I felt that the soil was a little bit dampish, so I decided to leave the grow bags
Day 8 out to let the soil dry out a tiny bit more.
- I will plant the seedlings tomorrow mid-day
Sat Apr 27 - I planted the seedlings into their grow bags.
Day 9 - I sprinkled mycorrhizal fungi into a small pre-dug hole that I put the seedlings into.
- I then watered the plants with Microbial Mass Pro, RapidStart and Diamond Nectar. I checked the ph of the
water after adding the nutrients and it was at 6.5. I just used half a litre for the first feeding.
- Lights are 24 inches above plants, lowered humidity to 60% and LED lights set to level 3.
Sun Apr 28 - I churned the soil a bit to help it to dry. I lowered the fans to be closer to the grow bags and added another fan
Day 10 at the floor level. At this stage, I find that the soil doesn't dry out unless you churn it.
Mon Apr 29 - the soil appeared dry, but I think under the surface it was probably not fully dry. I didn't bother churning it
Day 11 - The plants at the bad looked less dry than the front ones,
- I always have trouble at the beginning getting air flow to the soil with seedlings. You don't want too much air to
blow on the seedlings while they are small and weak, but you want the soil to dry out. My tower fan is somewhat
broken, so I need to buy a new one. That should help with air flow.
- The seedlings are 2" inches in height.
Tue Apr 30 - I watered the plants with RapidStart and Diamond Nectar.
Day 12 - There are already new leaves forming. The seedlings seemed to have not suffered any transplant shock.
Wed May 1 - The soil was moist, so I churned the soil. I saw each seedling chimmering slightly with the breeze of the fan, but
Day 13 I still need to replace the tower fan asap.

Apothecarian Fri May 3 - I churned the soil in the morning to further help the soil to dry out. When I got home, the soil looked dry enough
Day 15 I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar & Floralicious and I added a new tower fan
- I adjusted the humidty down to 55°. The seedlings are between 2.5" to 2.75" inches in height.
Sat May 4 - the soil was fairly damp. I feel that there still is not enough fair flow at the soil level. There could be other
Day 16 reasons such as the seedlings not requiring as much nutrients, therefore not sucking the moisture out of the
soil like they do when they are bigger. Also, the soil level is lower than I normally fill the bags to, which would
make it harder for the air to get to.
- Also, I noticed that the soil appears to have less peat moss mixed in than usual. That could also be a reason
for the soil not drying out as well.
- It does have me a tad concerned. I will churn the soil every day to ensure the soil is dry before the next
feeding. When I churned the soil tonight, the moisture ran deep into the soil.
Sun May 5 - I churned the soil again to ensure it's getting dried out before the next feeding
Day 17
Mon May 6 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar & Floralicious.
Day 18
Tue May 7 - I churned the soil. The soil will need churning for a while.
Day 19 - The plants are growing nicely.
Wed May 8 - I churned the soil again. Hopefully it'll be dry enough for a feeding tomorrow. But if not, then maybe the next day.
Day 20
Thu May 9 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious & Microbial Mass Pro
Day 21 - The soil was nice and dry enough for it's next feeding

Apothecarian Fri May 10 - I churned the soil. There are still a couple of plants that are getting slightly less airflow than others. I'll keep
Day 22 arranging the plants around to find that happy spot!
- The plants are significantly bigger than just a couple of days ago. I love how fast these plants grow.
- The plants are now reaching the top of the grow bags and their leaves are catching the breeze from the fans
which will probably deflect the breeze down to the soil level. Also, the larger the plants get, the sooner the
soil will dry out as the plants uptake more nutrients. Diamond Nector and Floralicious both contain humeric
acid and that causes the plants to uptake more nutrients. But I will keep churning the soil if necessary.
Sun May 12 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar & Floralicious.
Day 24 - The plants are growing surprisingly fast every day
Mon May 13 - I churned the soil.
Day 25 - I raised the lights a bit to ensure they stay 24 inches above the plants
Tue May 14 - I churned the soil.
Day 26
Wed May 15 - I churned the soil.
Day 27
Thu May 16 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious and CalMag
Day 28 - I noticed that the leaves are showing a slight magnesium deficiency. So I added the CalMag now

Apothecarian - The tallest plant is 7 inches and the shortest plant is 5 inches.
Fri May 17 - I churned the soil
Day 29
Sun May 19 - The plants really shot up in height overnight. The tallest plant is 9.5 inches and the shortest plant is 7 inches.
Day 31 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, CalMag, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious, Flora Micro,
Flora Grow, Flora Bloom and Koolbloom liquid.
- I reorganized the plants and separated them based on height so that I could adjust the light even above them
and not have the tallest plants get burned or the shortest plants not get enough light. This way, one half of the
tent has the taller plants and the other half has the shorter plants.
- I raised the fans up a bit as the plants were shimmering a bit too much no that they are taller. The plants are
now shimmering just right.
- I also raised the light to 32 inches abover the plant canopy and I cranked the light to the max at 10.
Mon May 20 - I churned the soil
Day 32
Tue May 21 - I churned the soil. I think I need to get the same fan as the smaller fan doesn't get to the soil as well as the
Day 33 bigger one
Wed May 22 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, CalMag, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious, Flora Micro,
Day 34 Flora Grow, Flora Bloom and Koolbloom liquid and Microbial Mass Pro
- I sprayed the plants with ChitoSal. Soaked them pretty good and from all angles
- The plants are filling out nicely, they are growing a lots of foliage. I will need to trim the plants soon
- I usually ease into the aggressive feeding chart over two feedings, but I went full aggressive on the
this feeding. I think the plants were ready for it.
Thu May 23 - I churned the soil
Day 35 - I had to raise the light up a bit as the plants are growing well

- I always go through a bit of trimmers remorse after I'm done…wondering if I went a bit to far. But every grow
the leaves grow back thick enough for me to have to trim again.
Sun May 26 - now that the plants are bigger and the soil is more exposed to the wind and light, the soil is drying up
Day 38 nicely. I will only churn as needed
Mon May 27 - Churned the soil for a couple of the plants that needed it.

Day 97 that it does not get sucked back up into the plants
- The plants look ready for flushing and harvesting.
Thu Jul 25 - I flushed the plants with PH'ed water
Day 98 - I will be harvesting the plants tomorrow night using the Bud Bowl Trimmer and hanging them up in drying nets
Apothecarian Sat Jul 27 - I harvest the plants by using the bowl trimmer
Day 100 - I now have the buds all trimmed up and in the hanging drying racks inside the grow tent. The lights are now off,
one 1 fan is on and the heat is set at 21°C and the humidity is set to 60%
- The buds will be there for the next two weeks. Then I will re-weight them and give you the final results
Sat Aug 10 - I removed the buds from the drying rack and put them on the scale
Day 114 - The results are very predicable with regards to %'age lost from trimming and %'age lost from drying.
- Analysis per plant:
- Plant 1 - 22 inches tall
- Wet, trimmed buds = 154.76g
- Dry bud = 36.88g
- The drying process caused a 76.16% loss
- Plant 2 - 29 inches tall
- Wet, trimmed buds = 236.91g
- Dry bud = 56.55g
- The drying process caused a 76.13% loss
- Plant 3 - 30 inches tall
- Wet, trimmed buds = 278.07g
- Dry bud = 60.48g
- The drying process caused a 78.25% loss
- Plant 4 - 17 inches tall
- Wet, trimmed buds = 281.50g
- Dry bud = 63.00g
- The drying process caused a 77.62% loss
Total dried weight of buds - 216.91grams
so, pretty much 7.75 ounces for 4 plants!
- The average grams per plant is 54.23grams per plant
- The average grams lost from the drying process is 77.04%
- It buds still have that same aroma, albeit, a lot more mild. The terpenes will further develop during
the curing process
