jellyjelly One ugly transplant later - here we are. Plant stressed by underwatering + initial arid conditions (~20RH 😭).
New growth looks clean and bright green.

jellyjelly Transplanted to final home - 10Gal. Even sloppier of a transplant but plant is recovering well. I lowered lights until next week to prevent/lessen yellowing? No clue what that is.

jellyjelly Plant is stretching nicely - lower branches and yellowing fan leaves removed. Noticing some dank smells beginning to come in. Keeping my eye out on a few gnats..

jellyjelly 🤺With lights at 100% in flowering an arid conditions, it’s tough maintaining anything higher than 45% RH, probably for the better.. Also battling keeping temps under 85°F due to the light intensity. Possible MacGyver solution inbound..
👀 Bright white-green-yellow pistils, loosely stacked calyxes, and an airy bud structure. Fan leave tips continue to yellow

jellyjelly Starting off this week so strong!
Decided to run only 80% light intensity for the rest of flower to avoid reaching above 90°F and killing my humidity. Soil received top dressing(Build A Soil brand) and light till.
I got 2.5 main colas lol with even more white pistils forming, along with visible trichome frost developing on the sugar leaves.. foliage has vibrant green color w/ tight node stacking, and no obvious signs of stress or deficiency 🔥
Also ended up making an active intake port to vent in cold outside air.
⚠️ This required very intentional placement of humidifier flow and intake vent flow + exhaust cycle settings to achieve desired RH and temps - beware of active intakes ⚠️
Also dog hairs suck lol

jellyjelly It’s almost harvest week! 🍾 absolutely no health issues. Wishing I topdressed a bit sooner though.
Trichomes are showing mostly cloudy with maybe 2-5% amber however, about 40% of pistils showing white/green still and not brown - I’ll likely grow this out for a couple more days but boy are we close
Strong smell of tropical, citrus and fuel notes on smell and leaf rub. So stoked to harvest!

jellyjelly Somehow it’s still not chopping time 😱
Breathtaking smells - so tropical and loud.
Visually the plant is dying out, probably expedited due to an unintentional mini-drought - the leaves are turning yellow and more fragile.
Regardless, the flowers continues to frost, with still no signs of amber trichomes to really take note of.. certainly more are cloudy than last week. Keeping a close eye on them with my 30x jewelry scope

jellyjelly I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE AHHHH
Not only am I finding it hard to wait for amber trichomes but my other vegging plants desperately need the 4x4 used in this grow
She definetly looks beautiful - the colors remind me of autumn (“Fall” camouflage vibes from COD MW2 if anyone remembers or played)
Breeder states 7-8 of flowering and today marked flowering week 7. I think I will harvest this weekend no matter what at about 7.5week mark
No panicking harvesting quite yet tho - despite seeing some amber trichomes now, there’s a good amount of clear ones too that could use some clouding up in lower budding sites.
So stoked to harvest, trim and light this up. Thanks growmies for following along and showing support! 💚
Very responsive to training and forgiving to common novice grower mistakes.
This managed to test at 16%THC
The once overwhelming tropical smells are now much more subtle when compared to the diesel/gas smell the flower has now - almost like a earthy latex glove.
Overall it’s very loud!

jellyjelly What a blast! It was so fun to do all this for the first time and have more appreciation for flower.
The plant was hung intact upside down to dry in 60F / 57RH conditions for 13 days - it resulted slightly on the dry side.
I plan on curing for 30 days, adding a bóveda pack soon after 1 week in jars.

This was super easy to grow and tolerated many classic noobie mistakes I made like sudden droughts, inconsistent lighting intensity and slightly lower than ideal humidity conditions
Literally had me drooling. Love brothers Grimm. Doing Ricky’s hash plant almost finished and I loved it so much got 2 more packs of Ricky and a pack of bubbles blueberry. Rock on brothers Grimm
WOW man you did a great job! It's my first grow too and im running autoflower and im having so much fun and learning alot. Like you said it really makes you appreciate good weed especially since there is alot of fake weed where i live and im tired of funding them. I hope i get a good result like you in the end! How come you dont add the boveda pack as soon as you start curing in jars tho? Asking since i plan to do my future curing that way too but i just assumed you drop the pack and just wait. Congrats on the grow bro and good luck for the next ones! :D
@womba, thank you so much Growmie - means a lot! Agreed, growing makes you realize the "stupid loud "you had was grown with love (hopefully) by someone else LOL nice question and sadly that part is bro-science.. Some community members claim adding boveda too soon can mute some of the terps and smell.. The idea of adding late is sort of a compromise, let the terps seal, add boveda for long term storage and cure. Plus, the burping in the first days of cure should help you dial in humidity in the jars with a hydrometer if the flower is too moist for example
@jellyjelly, Yeah for real you dont really think about the whole process of growing and curing it has gone thru before it gets to you when you are just regular smoker. Ohh yeah that makes sense, i have heard some people saying boveda packs isnt needed and it ruins terps too so im not quite sure but i think what you are doing is smart then using the boveda packs more for long term and not that needed at the start of the cure sounds reasonable! But who knows we have alot of time to dry different stuff in our future grows :D
@Green_claws, Much Appreciated - this was a blast! And unfortunately not naturally - and this was after a week of just daily burping for just a couple mins .. after realizing Humidity was hovering around 55/56, I added a Size 4 Boveda 62% pack and that seemed to do the trick. Incredible how good those things work.. but dialing the environment in drying seems better
