Blueberry Spider (Clones Run)

Madd_Rez Trying my hand at taking cuttings. Took 8 and placed them in a 70/30 coco perlite mix. 9th is in a cup poked through saran wrap. Slits on bottom of cup and slit in domes. Always had issues with everyone being droopy within 6 hours of cutting - these have gone 24 and look the same. Very good to see! Figure I'll try both and see what happens. Will redo whoever works best. Although I do like the idea of keeping the clone in a starter pot over just water. We'll see.

Madd_Rez Day 8 since taking my cuttings. The one simply in the cup is showing off some root nubs! Can't believe it! The other 8 are in sealed cups at 98-100% humidity. Hoping to see some roots in their cups by the end of the week.

Madd_Rez Unfortunately there's not much to report. I ended up taking a 10th cutting right before flipping my donor. I can't call her a Mother in my opinion. However not all is lost - I was nosey and poked into all 8 cups and only 1 had roots, about an inch long. Not sure what happens with the nubs on the on in just water. As he's still green so Is imagine everyone's on maintenance mode. Going to stay patient. Thinking the light was too intense so I e back it down. Well see what happens this week.

Madd_Rez Guessing I didn't have the lighting intensity low enough. Within a few days of doing so, roots started to appear. So far I've got 4 cuttings with roots - which is all I need. These 4 were also the ones in the double cup setups, the cuttings in water have definitely stalled. But, we'll see what they do. Not sure when I'll pot these up...

Madd_Rez It's been a crazy and busy week for these gals! The 8 cuttings that I put in the taped cups all rooted. The 2 in cups of water got a bunch of bumps at the base of the stem but no roots actually.popped. Took the 8 that did root and got them potted into half gal pots for now.

Madd_Rez Little crowded in this 3x3 now, didn't do the math right so now I'm paying for it. These BBS clones will be by themselves in about 2 weeks.

Madd_Rez Starting 2nd week of flower and these girls are stretching pretty well! Pretty much going for an even canopy and I get whatever yield I do. Just excited to do a run this big, I'm going to be so sick of watering every day lol. The daily hands on will be a nice change of pace.

Madd_Rez Starting Week 3 of flower. Planning on these 7 plants being by themselves within the week - not enough tents lol. I didn't do any training and honestly wanted them to all fit in a 3x3 so I'm ok with the stretch. Which has been crazy btw...another 8".

Madd_Rez I haven't done many grows without doing either topping or decent LST. I did use the training clips on a few plants but otherwise haven't done much training at all. Always interested to see how big the girls can stretch when you let them just do their thing.

Madd_Rez Not much to report aside from the insane amount of trichomes these ladies are showing. And the colors too, got some fall coming in now. With how how spaced the nodes are. I'm not going to have to do much defoliation at all, maybe a few Bud sites here and there but in general just going to let em grow

Madd_Rez Got some nice harvest colors coming in, really liking the gold and purple! Didn't see much gold on the other plant. Very strong blueberry nose in here now, no maintenance really to report. Super easy cultivar to work with.

Madd_Rez Starting to wind down on this grow. Took the last BBS to 74 days, so less than 2 weeks it would seem. Will probably start on Jack's Finish at the end of this week. Not much to report aside from a frost Warning.

Madd_Rez So many pretty tops, really hard to pick the best one! A bit of Amber here and there, but certainly not enough where I want to chop so we're going to take them to at least day 70 and see how things look. Awfully close.

Madd_Rez That's a wrap! Dark pistols and trichomes have a splash of Amber. They're ready.
