Low Budget Setup Test

In this grow, I'm testing a budget-friendly yet functional setup in a 60×60×160 cm tent. I'm growing two autoflower strains from Fast Buds: Purple Punch Auto and Gorilla Z Auto. The run is lit by two compact 100W lights (FS1000D/Spiderfarmer-style) – one for the veg stage, one for flowering. For air circulation, I'm using a ProFan 100 mm axial fan, while a Rhino Hobby 30 activated carbon filter cleans the exhaust. As a medium, I'm using BioBizz Light-Mix, and I'm fully fertilizing organically with BioTabs to keep the effort low and supply the plants automatically throughout the grow. The run starts in the germination phase and aims to show how much you can get out of a true low-budget setup – focusing on efficiency, simplicity, and stable growth.

automatics are not just automatics, there are different generations and special variants (F1) - especially the last two years have been very eventful and the latest generation is no longer behind in terms of growth and yield compared to a photoperiod - check out @Mrs_larimar's diaries, she had 2-meter automatic monsters there - absolutely mind-blowing

Nothing about those plants looks low budget... They look incredible. Hope they finish strong for you.

I really like when you bring a "beneficial company plant" into the system - I also use clover, it has now spread invasively everywhere - like Japanese knotweed, the seeds explode and spread themselves.

Hi, I see it the same way as you do, less is always more when growing. Especially with fertilizing, too much is just irreversible - and you can always add more.

Congratulations on the harvest. And regarding your growing approach to keep it as cost-effective as possible, I just have one remark - well done - and never skimp on the soil.

Hi, you don't have a calmag problem here, just an imbalance of light to nutrients to water ---- at this stage it's actually "whatever," adding calmag with nitrogen doesn't make much sense right now. She's not winning any beauty contests, but she'll give you a harvest - best, Mia
