This plant has been SUCH A CHALLENGE! Most definitely takes the cake for plant with the tightest internodal spacing I've ever had to try and work with!
I boosted her up on a crate to even out the tent canopy, as her tentmate is more than double her size. Gave her a reservoir change and another bit of defoliation.
She's about ready to burst out of her "ugly duckling" phase and into va-va-voomhood!
Worth noting that this plant is very different in appearance compared to others I've grown. The leaves are very thick and dark green, and fan leaves all have dark reddish stems and are fairly small, and the pistils are yellowish in color (which for some reason I can't get to show up well in pictures. Super cool to appreciate the different traits of different strains. I'm still a new grower so everything just seems magical. 🤩💜✨
I grow a certain strain of weed and this strain has one phenotype that did the exact same thing. The proof was in the 3 clones I took from this midget plant. The clones did the exact same thing, genetics!
@blazin_skywalker, I wish you could see how different the two Thai Phenos, Blonde Buds or Chocolate Buds. You would swear they are not even genetically related.
@blazin_skywalker, I not new to cannabis as I grew it as a kid a little. But I'm kind of new. The Thai I like to grow has two main phenotypes one has really blonde buds The other phenotype has chocolate color buds with a total different bud structure and much smaller buds. The smoke is very different between the two buds but the high is a distinct Thai Stick high. And I'm going to water my girls right now and I'm smoking chocolate buds tonight.
@SativaKid, That's wild! I am still new to growing so this was my first time wrapping my head around the fact that no matter how equal I treat my plants, I can only control so much until genetics takes over. I have never experimented with clones, but what you just said right there says enough for me! How wild two different phenotypes of the same strain can be! ✌️💜🌱
Wow, very nice job! Those roots look beautiful and the nugs looks so appetizing.
Im currently growing some Skywalker for my first grow and i'm glad to see that the difficulties im having with it are normal.
I hope I can provide good enough care to get some results like yours.
How did she smoke btw?
@blazin_skywalker, sounds just like my type of strain and i cant wait to try it! I might consider cloning this girl after your comment, since shes growing so fast and so easy to deal with!
cheers, enjoy the creativity and share some with your husband :P
@SonofGaia, Hah, just realized I never finished with my harvest /smoke report! 😱This bud, despite the heat damage I dealt with, is such a good smoke that we elected to not share this one lol. It's masterful for sparking creativity, and does well for pain. Very nice body high, I get a little handsy with this one, my husband doesn't mind though 😉. But I find that I enjoy creating when I smoke this... Art, music, writing, it all feel so fun and easy with Skywalker OG.
Wow, you're the first person i've encountered who actually might need a security to your grow tent to help you with the attackers :D You must grow some good flower in there...
I will be watching your development I have Skywalker OG from Nirvana on standby not sure what I'm going to grow or the cheese XXL auto from dinafem .currently I'm growing blue amnesia XXL auto and Moby Dick XXL auto from Dinafem and I'm not sure which strain will be the next .I'll be watching your development because you do a great job happy growing.
@Canadian, ha, I came here because the shot of the seedling in the pellets reminded me of one of my current grows which is a MobyDickXXL auto from Dinafem. I'm at two weeks and she looks very powerful. I'm thinking that she may be my first plant that I do not interfere with.
They look real good. 1 of my gsce is real tight nodes and compact. 1 out of 5 maybe different pheno type or something. Im gonna follow along its hard not to when were growing the same thing at similar times. 👍👍
Lookin' good @blazin_skywalker, yeah I reckon that is definitely a plant to top. My Moby Dick which is at two weeks is the first plant I've grown that looks like it might be worth not topping. Where would you top and how many pairs of branches do you want.
