Outta the solo cup and into something I can contain the humidity a bit more. Especially since I have plants at various ages in there together. Once they’re all big and topped- I’ll flip them all.
This week brings Maui girl to her bigger forever pot. She’s picking up speed, and seems to be quite happy under my medic grow fold-6. I’m thinking about dropping the light a bit, but it’s quite hard to do alone. Maybe I’ll raise her up a bit. I’ll figure it out.
Not much going on this past week. She’s in her big pot, and she’s almost big enough to get topped- another few days ✂️
She’s responding well to her feedings too!
She got a nice big bump in her feedings- and she’s handled everything without any issues. This week I’m planning on introducing a few bends to her- I wanted to last week. But the branches from her topping hadn’t grown out enough to get the bends on without damaging the new gr
A week left of veg. She’s really taken a nice shape and I can’t wait to see how she responds to the light change. Upped nutrients again this week without issue.
Final update before flip! Sunday I’ll re-program my light timer- then Monday 4/01 will be flower day 1. Easy way to keep track. She’s shaped perfectly. She’s happy, I’m happy- and I know she’s just waiting to show me what she’s got!
Took her out, measured her, tucked some leaves and then got her right back into the warm tent. Followed with a feeding, backed down 1ml from last week.
Today is day 8 of flower. Delayed update so it now lines up weekly. Dialed back another ml per gallon on nutrients- now all 5 strains in my tent are all running the same schedule. Sure helps speed up mixing. I’m really hopeful for a bit of stretch this upcoming week.
She has added two additional inches this week. Pistols are becoming visible. I have continued with her feeding from last week, as see no need to change anything.
Slow goings. She maybe added another once this week- but nothing of significance.
I have been keeping feedings consistent- 2 gallons split between 6 plants every two days. Another week and I’ll begin introducing some Plagron green sensation- which I am extremely excited to try out! But hoping to add a bit more height over the next week.
She added another 2 inches in height this week- hoping she’ll add a bit more in the coming days. Since we’ve passed week 4 of flower I began to introduce some Plagron Green Sensation, 4 ml per gallon and backing off my nutrients to keep my ppm in a similar range. I haven’t been keep track of ppms at any point before this- but that was the directive with this additive.
She’s has definitely slowed down in vertical growth- but she was able to add an additional inch this week. She has been nothing less than impressive. And she’s the plant who’s the most loaded with colas.
Another week down. I have increased her nutrients by 1ml/pg. she’s is starting to pull from her lowers and I’m getting some yellowing. Her branches are really filling in and I’m expecting some nice buds from her colas.
Chugging along. She looks like she needs another 2 weeks. I’ll definitely do my best to accommodate her- but let’s go! Starting to see some yellowing of the lowers-do I know we are on track.
Today’s day 65! Took her out of the tent today to do a little clean up on those pesky limp yellow leaves you start seeing as the plant transitions into its final form. No sign of male flowers, mildew or rot. My only concern is that she’s starting to look likes she’s foxtailing-She’s definitely still popping pistols, and is looking like she’ll be the last girl in the tent to finish.
I knew she looked foxtaily too me. She’s still popping pistols and todsjng sugar leaves. I can give her a maximum of 10 more days- but then she’s got to go.
Took her down because I was out of time. She just kept tossing pistols. Her buds are very airy- and not a dense as I’d normally like. Guess that’s her sativa-ness. She smells fantastic though. Heavy tropical aromas of fresh fruit. Guava. Mango. Pineapple.
