I’m starting my first indoor grow! I decided to grow Zamnesia’s landrace pack. I want to get familiar with the origins of contemporary hybrid strains. It’s going to be a challenge - growing radically different genetics with diverging growth and flowering times, all in the same tent. I will need a lot of patience and settle for a lower yield, but I love starting a new learning journey!
I’m intrigued by the relationships between people and their (heritage) crops and animals. My other hobby is raising Ronquières turkeys. The original breed of turkeys that were domesticated by the indigenous people of central America and brought to Europe by Spanish explorers in the early 1500s. The Belgian artist Joachim Beuckelaer painted a (dead) turkey in 1566 that looks exactly like my turkey tom named “Hempie”.

Unfortunately Hindu Kush isn't developing as good as Columbian Gold, Panama Red and Afghani. Her leaves were sticking together and I had to (carefully!) get the leaves apart.

Hindu Kush is growing in a 12,5 liter AirPot. Unfortunately she isn’t growing well. She is getting plain water and Plagron Power Roots.

She is still poorly growing.
I discarded her. She wasn’t growing properly and when I dug her out I saw her rootstructure wasn’t properly developed. I will start some other seed (strain) instead.

India_Calcoen Hindu Kush didn’t grow properly from the start. She germinated two days later than the other seeds, her leaves were sticking together and the rootstructure was underdeveloped. I’m going to try another seed/strain.
