Hey GD community another diary for people to see genetics. This time is Violator Kush by Barney's Farms.
5 seeds were put to paper towel method for germination. 3/5 popped and 2 came through and sprouted. I usually have better success and noticed they changed packaging lately and I have heard it is because of light prematurely starting germination and people complained. Who knows.
Also this diary will be mainly flower weeks and all veg weeks are week 1 and lasted 7-8 weeks for the normal pheno. Clones taken. Runt pheno staying in veg until clone dome has space. During veg I run Advanced Nutrients
Following feed calendar when mixing my solution with a 1:1 feed:R.O water watering schedule and after 2/3 weeks my wet/dry cycle is usually 2 days between feeding/waterings.

Well started week 1 of flower on the normal growth pheno leaving the Bush pheno in veg. No room in flower will strip it down as it will fully take clones as she is getting too bushy
I think she will be a hungry girl in flower as she stayed a pale green compared too the other strains flowering on the same nute schedule.

Some huge colas forming this plant really took well to topping. Have 8 tops with very little manipulation to get them just tied 4 down and they all grew equally after that. Some really earthy smells with and old school hash undertone. Very nice and ultra sticky.
Shout out to Barney's Farm for the wicked genetics because this is a keeper for me.

Please see pics and tell me what you think of the back left plant. It looks like it is completely dying. And they are still 2-3 weeks away
from my anticipated finish. Rest of my tent and strains look fine and auto feeder is working. No malfunction.
Some kinda root problem and also nitrogen uptake problem. This can happen if you have salt build up's in your soil. I'd try to give her plain water couple of times and maybe she'll feed better after that and still recover..

Yeah I'm currently crowded in my veg room got excited so I'm building a nice leveled cabinet to switch my moms clones and pre flower veg into...my bad.

I'm on day 10 and I'm excited about this cross. What are your thoughts on how the smells are so far. Loud or fruity. I'm praying for a heavy mercium straight kush smell. I've honestly never tried or grew Hindu or heard off the other parent at all.

Nice. It's a pretty fun plant to grow and she's building some nice colas from topping it. As for the smell I get no fruit but also not "loud" which i take as that gassy fuel smell that people associate with "KUSH". To me it smells earthy and very much like Afghan hash more of an old school dankness.
