GoodTimesOrganics Welcome Back! 💚 Hi dear community!
Currently, I also want to test a rather unknown breeder for me.
I got a Freeseed from Nasha Genetics on Mary Jane and thought I’d send it into the new run this time.
Tada, it has germinated.
It’s a Snapple Apple (Apple Fritter x Apple n Banana)
Indicated flowering time is between 9 - 10 weeks.
So probably a more sativa-dominant strain.
The soil is purely organic and partially self-recharged.
For fertilization, we are using the entire BioTabs.nl range this time, as we were sponsored by them for a few grows.
Thank you very much for this.
Stay Tuned!💚

After the first week of growth, a stable little seedling is developing.
The special thing is, the plant had three cotyledons from the start and is also forming three more initial leaves.
A natural mutation as they occasionally occur.
I'm curious to see how the plant develops.
The environmental conditions are optimal so far:

After the second week of growth, a stable little seedling is developing. The mutation continues, and now 3 new leaf pairs are forming instead of 2.
It's a natural mutation that occurs occasionally.
I'm really fascinated by it and I'm so curious to see if it will develop its shoots properly.
I'm excited to see how the plant develops.
This week, I added more components from the BioTabsNL series.
I incorporated the Silicium Flash as a top dress fertilizer according to the instructions and placed the tabs into the soil.
Then I watered everything again with Bactrex.

After the third week of growth, the regular two-leaf formation is slowly developing at the top.
The mutation is probably causing a slightly slowed growth at the moment, as I believe the plant would otherwise be bigger by now. On the lower shoots, there are also three instead of two side shoots visible.
Hopefully, this will provide an advantage for later topping.
The leaf shape is also very round, which I have only seen very rarely so far.
I'm very fascinated by it and I'm so curious to see if it will develop the shoots properly.
I'm excited to see how the plant develops.
Since all BioTabs components have been applied, I will now start with the only Water method, but with a weekly addition of Orgatrex and Boom Boom Spray.

After the fourth week of growth, the S Apple Apple is turning into a real little bush with branches.
Gradually, a regular growth pattern is becoming visible, but the branches are developing very slowly and closely together.

I'm excited to see how the plant progresses.

After the fifth week of growth, the S Apple Apple is developing a bit stunted due to the topping.
It seems like she didn't handle that too well / but it could also be that I overwatered her a bit.
So, I haven't watered the plant for a few days now, and she's slowly recovering a bit.
Gradually, a regular shoot form is becoming visible, yet the shoots are developing very slowly and tightly.
Therefore, I attached some bending elements to the side shoots.
I'm really fascinated by her, and I'm so curious to see if she'll develop the shoots properly.
I'm excited to see how the plant develops.

After the sixth week of growth, the Snapple Apple is still developing very slowly.
It seems like she didn't handle the topping very well / a possible overwatering has also been somewhat ruled out by now.
Gradually, a regular growth pattern is becoming visible, yet the shoots are forming very slowly and tightly.
Therefore, I attached some bending elements to the side shoots.
It's time to transition to flowering after this week, as I don't expect much more growth.

After the seventh week of growth, the Snapple Apple is still developing rather slowly. It was time to send her into flowering now. (07.02.26)
The plant already looks more vital, but there hasn't been much height growth observed. I'm curious to see how the plant behaves during the flowering stage.
This week, I added the Orgatrex fertilizer for the last time.
Let's see if there's any more growth happening. 🙈

After the second week of flowering, you can gradually see the flower/stigma formations.
I'm not sure yet if there are also male pollen formations visible.
If that's the case, my special freak will unfortunately have to meet its end.
Otherwise, I've really thinned out the plant so that the better-growing shoots get better light.
The structure of the plant is very knotty and firm.
So far, it's really the craziest LowGainer I've seen since I started growing.
Let's see if the plant pulls off something in the flowering stage 😁

There are no male pollen sacs in sight 👍

It shows a beautiful bud structure for its size. The buds are getting thicker and are really firm and compact.
A fresh, sour aroma is developing. There's a bit of sweetness added as well.
If it were to be an apple, it would lean towards Granny Smith.
However, considering the growth duration and the results so far, I have to wonder if it's worth the effort.
Let's see how the flavor profile develops later on.
The environmental conditions are really hot and just perfect for the final bloom.

The Snaple Apple from Nasha is a small, Indica-dominant strain that is easy to cultivate. However, the internodes (side branches) are very tightly spaced.
Overall, it is a very compact plant with slow growth.
I don't know if it was due to the free seed, or if the strain is generally designed to grow like this?
In any case, I wouldn't put this strain in my grow box again in this form, as it doesn't show the desired yield or growth behavior for the time and effort invested.

This could be something special. The last 2 "ugly" ducklings (Red Hot Violet and GRC x BBC) that had strange leaves for me were extraordinary. So you're not wrong to keep an eye on them and let them fascinate you. Good luck with this pheno.
Setup looks great 👍🌿
Some genetics just need a little time to get going, LowGainer today, surprise candidate tomorrow 😁🌿
Stay relaxed – it can still turn out well 😄 Best regards and continued success!💪🍀
