Puff_TM_Dragon Transplanted from seed starting tray to 3 gal bag. Reclaiming Happy Frog and Cocoa Loco soil from previous grows. Amended with Dr Earth Tomato and Herb (4-6-3) and Flower Girl(3-9-4). Steady growth this past week. Hopefully the transplant won’t slow her down too much.
Already looking like this might be a fussy plant but luckily growing at a decent pace so far. Unfortunately, I’m running this on a 12/12 light schedule. I have a photo in flower in the same tent and it’s running very slowly.
Since conditions will be less than ideal I decided to run an auto or two from the bargain bin.

Puff_TM_Dragon The first pair of leaves are kind of funky. The second and third set are looking much better.

Puff_TM_Dragon Moving along at an average auto speed despite the 12 hr days. Going to top in the next day or two. Top dressed with Gaia Green all purpose. Trimmed the first set of leaves and pinched lower nodes that were starting to form new branches.

Puff_TM_Dragon Topped. Hit it with some recharge immediately after topping.
Responded very well I think. Started LST by adding some clips to the top nodes yesterday. The clips were made from some electrical wire I had laying around. Not ideal but they seem to work ok for now.
This plant is showing good vigor.

Puff_TM_Dragon Moving along nicely. This plant has good vigor. Needed to make bigger clips for training. Saw signs of pre flower so I’m sure next week we’ll be seeing buds forming. Top dressed with Gaia Power Bloom. Probably needs more defoliation at this stage but I’ll wait a few more days to grow out some.

Puff_TM_Dragon Started flower this week as anticipated. Stretch phase has started as well. Training with wire clips. I’m hoping I don’t stunt the growth too much by doing so. Got rid of some larger leaves that were blocking future bud sites.

Puff_TM_Dragon I think the 12 hour days and cool temps have stunted this plant a little but otherwise a healthy looking plant. Now that the photo fem has been harvested I have set the tent to 18 hrs as it should be.

Puff_TM_Dragon Very sensitive when it comes to watering.
Leaves tend to droop whether the soil is wet or dry. It’ll perk up right before soil starts to dry out and then show visible signs of thirst.
As soon as it gets watered again it’s drooping again. It loved the Cal Mag boost ot got a couple of days ago. Top dressed today with Dr Earth Flower Girl. Starting to develop a smell.
Very compact plant likely due to low temps and low humidity, 12/12 during veg stage, and topping.

Puff_TM_Dragon Conservative dose of Gaia Power Bloom this week. Last weeks dose of Cal Mag helped with the drooping I think. Getting a light waft of citrus from time to time.
Starting to get some frost but these buds still have a ways to go. Again, very compact plant with low yield but that was to be expected considering what I put it through.

Puff_TM_Dragon Living up to its name by giving off the smell of citrus. Buds are getting sticky but not very dense. Topped dressed with Dr Earth Flower girl a few days ago. This will likely be the last feeding apart from maybe a dose of Cal Mag.
Watered today with recharge. Starting to fade a bit but I think it still has a couple weeks to go yet.

Puff_TM_Dragon Slowly fading but still have a week or two to go.
Buds are filling out but still kind of airy. Dosed with Cal Mag this week. No top dressing this week. Getting very sticky and smells like over ripe oranges.

Puff_TM_Dragon Haven’t really done anything but water this week. Definitely fading but the trichromes are still mostly clear. Very sticky and strong citrus smell when toyed with. Another week or so for this but getting very close to harvest.

Puff_TM_Dragon Trimming here and there in anticipation of harvest. Spread her out a little so the lower inside buds can get some light and ripen. Still taking on water and buds are bulking up some. Still mostly clear but I think one more week and it’ll be time to chop.

Puff_TM_Dragon Still no amber showing but this thing is clearly looking ready for harvest. I’ll give it another day or two since the buds still look like they are still bulking up a little.
@GERGrowDesigns, Thanks! Me too. I raised the ppfd a little higher than normal to compensate for the shorter days. I’m sure there will be consequences with yield and structure but probably no more than genetics does.
