PapaTerps Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 1 - seed dropped into a glass of plain RO tap water, ph'd to 6.5. Day 2 - seed has popped, moved onto a dish with a paper towel, sealed in a light proof bag. Day 3 - seedling has a nice long tap root (I always forget to take a picture of this) so I've moved her to main grow pot, which will be a 20L fabric pot. Day 5 - seedling has appeared through the soil 🙌 Day 8 - seedling has developed really well, from the middle of next week, she will be in week 1 veg 💪

PapaTerps Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 20 - watered with 1L of RO tap water with the defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. This week I removed her starter leaves as well as her first set of fan leaves, as they we're sheltering the lower nodes and stopping their development. I think she has been suffering from the heat in the tent over the last week, as the light was set to 100% to finish off another plant in the tent, but that one has since been harvested and the temps have been much lower over the last few days; hopefully she'll start to explode soon!

I've removed her two main fan leaves to increase light penetration, as the lower nodes were being completely covered by her two massive main stem fan leaves. She isnt growing that well, but now that those fan leaves are gone, hopefully she'll start to flourish 🤞🏻

Not much work done on her this week, just a couple of fan leaves removed to improve light penetration. She has developed a lot this week, but is still a little too short to go into the grow tent, I'll give her another week to progress and then she will be moved to a 12/12 schedule 👍🏻

PapaTerps Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 47 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with the defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She has been moved onto a 12 hour light schedule from this week and has started to stretch, but has no visible signs of flower just yet! I've upped her water this week to 2 liters, but other than that, I've just let her do her thing 👍🏻 Day 48 - on further inspection, she is infact showing signs of flower, pistils protruding from her bud sites and on the pits of her stems. Given she is also on a 12 hour light schedule for about a week, I've decided to switch this diary from "vegging" into "flowering"🎉

She has started her stretching phase of flower and is rocketing up , she is also developing her bud sites - during this phase, I tend not to perform any training or defoliation as it will stress her and limit her growth. So for now, I'm just watering and observing her 🙏🏻

She is bulking up nicely now and that trademark Zkittlez aroma has started to fill the tent! The breeder has suggested 9 weeks of flower, so we have around three weeks left - in about 10 days time, I will start to prepare her for harvest! Nothing don't to her this week, with regards to defoliation and training etc... just letting her do her thing 🙏🏻

PapaTerps Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 88 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with defined above nutrients, mixed in order and pH'd to 6.3. Week 7 of flower and she's looking absolutely fantastic! She looks to have reached maturity, with about 50% of her trichomes turning milky and pistils turning amber! She smells just like Skittles, that fruity candy smell and her colours look just like the rainbow too, with shades of lime green, red ambers and yellowing in places! Another couple of weeks and she'll be ready for harvest 🙏🏻

PapaTerps Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 96 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with defined above nutrients, mixed in order and pH'd to 6.3. She's in week 8 of flower, so I've started to ween her off the nutrients by reducing the feeding units by around 33%, I will continue to do this until her feed is just plain RO tap water ph'd to 6.5. 🙏 She is maturing really well, some of her bract have turned purplish, most of her pistils have turned amber, and almost all of her trichomes are milky, so I'd say she'll be ready for harvest in the next week or so 💪

Great strain to grow, wonderful smell, vibrant colours, super easy to grow, perfect structure with solid laterals that could have easily held three times her weight; I think if I had let her veg for another week or two and had topped her, she would have grown even better, but those are notes for the next grow - 10/10 - would grow again!! smoke report to follow Link: https://www.growerschoice.nl/en/zkittlez.html Smoke Report: Vape: - Unit: Arizer Solo IIIv2 & Arizer XQ2 - Flavour: Grapefruit draw, Spicy exhale - Aroma: Grapefruit/Citrus - Final thoughts: NOT even close to what Zkittlez should be, more like a sharp Grapefruit/Gas flavour than Zkittlez Joint: - Materials: RAW Black Connoisseur King Size Slim & Glass Tip - Nice Fruity draw, Spicy exhale - Aroma: Fruity/Citrus - Report: More of a Grapefruit/Gas flavour than Zkittlez Overall score for me is 6/10 - she was fantastic to grow, but her flavour and named didn't match - a shame really, because I was looking forward to a good Zkittlez... I would hesitate to use this brand again, to be honest, how can you mess up Zkittlez !?!?

PapaTerps Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 102 - Harvest Day!! 🎉🎉 She had been watered with 5L of RO tap water with no nutrients and pH'd to 6.3 a few days ago and was let dry back, she was watered again today, but on inspection of her trichomes and pistils, which were all Milky and Amber respectfully, I decided to harvest her! I chopped her down at the base of each stem and hung each stem to dry inside the tent, she will remain here for a couple of days in a low humidity level room before I move her into a dark cool room to complete her drying for around a week! She will then be cured in a glass jar.🤞🏻
