A little back story on these clones. We got the GG#4 cuttings from a friend. We placed them into an ez clone system after dipping them into some cloning gel. We set the ez clone misters on a 15/15 timer for the first week, and then 15 on 30 mins off for the second week.
After 2 weeks in the cloner these things look great!
When I transplanted them I dusted the roots with a mixture of Azos beneficial microbes and Mykos WP mycorrhizal inoculant both made by Xtreme Gardening (first time using these we'll see how it goes). I transplanted them into 1 gal fabric pots in Pro Mix BX and watered with a mix of water from the cloner (containing Orca and Clonex Clone Solution) and fresh water at 120 ppm. They will start getting nutes next week.
Watered the plants with 200 ppm cal mag.
The plants are enjoying their new pots and growing nicely. A couple of them are off to a slower start than the rest and will probably be tossed before flower, it's a little early yet to tell. the beauty of clones is it's easy to take more 👍
I know that others on here have learned a lot from The Grow Boss I have learned A TON of great information from him. If you are a new grower and have questions check out his videos on YouTube.
Update watered 8/25 with nutrients for the first time (1ml A, 1ml B, 1ml cal mag/per gal) 280 ppm 6.1 ph temp at 79 degrees and 45-50% humidity.
Week 3 day 3 watered with 150 ppm Cal Mag and Orca at 6 PH. Plants look good, went 6 days between watering and a couple of the plants had a little bit of leaf drooping. Nothing to worry about though they will look great again tomorrow. I will update in a couple days.
The next day all the plants look happy and healthy.
I waited one more day and moved them under the 1000w hid's set @ 420w about 4' above the canopy. It's crazy that it has only been 19 days since I took them out of the cloner and planted them in the 1 gal fabric pots.
I will gradually bump up the watts, 600w at the start of flower then finish flowering at 1000w. I'm thinking about another week or so and they will be moved into the flower room.
Day 23 veg, watered with master a and b 1.5 ml per gal and cal mag 2 ml per gal. Plants are looking healthy and growing by the day. I will be taking clones in a couple of days, and these will be on to the flower room next week 👍
Day 28 of veg, plants look healthy they are growing by the day. I will be taking clones for the next round in the next day or two. I plan to move them over to the flower room this weekend when im finally done building it. The walls still need to be lined with panda paper and the lights, fans, ac all need to be installed... it should only take a couple of hours... I hope lol
Plants will never transplanted into 5 gal fabric pots before going into the flower room.
Day 29 watered with nutrients today. Total of 5 gals of water.
Day 31 took clones, watered with 350 ppm cal mag 3ml per gal. Orca .5 ml per gal 5.6 ph
Day 34 Watered with 5ml cal mag, .5ml facilitator, .5 Hum Bolt 375 ppm 6.0 ph (6 gals total)
Flipped to 12-12 cycle on Day 37 of veg.
(Day 34) Watered with 5ml per gal Cal mag, 5ml facilitator, .5 Hum Bolt 375 ppm 6.0 ph (6 gals total)
(Day 38) Watered with 4ml cal mag per gal, 2ml verde, 2.25ml Master A, 2.25ml Master B, .3ml Hum-Boldt, .3ml Facilitator silica (8 gals total) . Plants show a little sign of nitrogen deficiency so I added verde to the nutrients this watering, next round I will add more nitrogen earlier.
(Day 41) Watered with 5ml cal mag, .5ml Orca 375ppm 5.7 PH Plants are looking nice and healthy, really starting to fill out and growing nicely 👍
9/27
Transplanted into 5 gal fabric pots, and moved into the flower room. I will weave them into a trellis next week. Under 1000w @ 50%. Topped and lollipoped and defoliated. Plants look healthy the following day. I will update with more info next week, it had been a long week at work. (Day 7 Flower)
10/2
Starting to show flowers forming 😃 Watered with 1ml Humboldt Honey ES, 1ml Humboldt Gimormous, .5ml Facilitator Silica 275ppm 6ph (Day 12 Flower)
Flower day 14
Plants look healthy, buds are starting to form, the smell is getting strong in the room. I am excited to see how they fill out over the next few weeks. They will be woven into a trellis in the next couple of days.
Well guys I have been quite busy with work and life so I did not get to trellis and SCROG these plants like I had planned to, and now I think that the are way too big to trellis at this point so I will be staking them soon, some of the branches are already bending from the weight of the flowers 💪
(Day 23 Flower) defoliated all of the plants to give them more room to breathe, I will turn the lights up to 75% in a couple of days, and because the plants are so big I may turn on another light and move some of the plants so that they all have more room to grow. I will update in a couple of days. Thanks for stopping by to check out my diary. Please comment if you have any tips or would be interested in more info about my plants or my set up.
Day 25 light defoliation again, just to make sure that the light was getting down lower into the canopy. Turned lights up to 750w 👍 Flowers are looking beautiful, I can't wait till they fatten up in a few weeks. They are very sticky and smell strong.
Day 27 Watered with 4ml Master A & B, 4ml Honey ES, 2ml Ginormous, 575 ppm 6.2 PH, Plants look happy and healthy. They seem to be enjoying their new light. Plants are currently about 34" from the lights which is a bit close for my liking especially once they are finished growing in a couple of weeks.
Day 32 flower placed plants into bamboo trellises, watered with 2.5ml ginormous, 12ml Terpinator, .5ml orca, 2ml Hum-boldt. Plants look happy and healthy, moved some plants over and turned on another 1000w @ 750w. Thanks for stopping by my diary
Watered with 5ml humboldt honey es, 3ml humboldt ginormous per gallon. I bumped into the plants with my arm while I was watering and I’ve gotta say these plants are extremely sticky, I could feel the stickiness like an hour later while I was smoking on the couch and my arm was sticking to it lol , I can see why they call them gorilla glue. All in all plants are looking very happy and healthy this week, they are starting to fill out nicely 👍 about 3-4 more weeks to go i'd say
Watered with 220 ppm Orca and Terpinator 6ph. Plants look happy and healthy, a couple of them have very minor nutrient burn on the very tips of the leaves so I decided to give them just some microbes and terpinator at a low ppm to help wash out the soil. All of the hairs on the buds are still white so there’s still 3 weeks or so more for these beauties.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my diary I will update soon!
10/5 watered with nutrients for the last time today, they will get a 2 week flush and then harvest. Plants are looking good, a couple of them are starting to show deficiencies, a bit early but hey it’s getting towards the end of flower so I would rather have that then too many nutes. All in all it’s been a good week
10/6 turned lights up to 1000w
Started flush this past Friday, plants are looking nice and healthy buds are getting bigger by the day. I will be harvesting the first few plants next weekend after a 7-9 day flush. Buds are extremely sticky and the smell is extremely pungent I had to even add a second carbon filter today to help with the smell. I am very excited to finally cut a couple of these down so I can finally try some of this bud 👍
First few plants got the chop today, they were ready to harvest before the rest of the crop. Wet trimmed and placed them in a 4x8 tent in a hanging rack for a few days. I also harvested the top buds of most of the remaining plants in the flower tent to help fatten up the lower buds. I will get plenty of more pictures of the buds once they dry and take pics of the remaining plants in the flower room in the next couple of days. It has been a loooong couple days of trimming so far and we’ve only taken down about 25% of the crop. Buds are insanely sticky and the smell is out of this world strong 💪
The rest of the plants got royal flush today on Tuesday night they will start 48-72 hours of darkness to bulk up before harvest next weekend. Thanks for checking out my diary, keep on growing!
11/20
Dried the first few plants for 48-72 hours, trimmed buds off branches and placed in 1/2 gal mason jars, about 3oz’s in each, and some of the best buds I put into a pint size jar. Total dry bud weight so far is 433.6 grams. I will continue to update as more plants get chopped.
11/21
Lights are now turned off for the next few days to shock the buds into bulking up before harvest. I took a couple of pictures of the buds on the plants before the dark period. These plants will get the chop on Saturday
She grew a bit taller than I would do have liked but I am very happy with the yeild. The next round I topped more often and gave more LST. I WIll be growing this strain for a long time to come. Thanks again everyone for all of you tips, help, and support and for following along to my grow. As my first grow here on Grow Diaries it has been a wonderful welcome to the community!
