ChitownCannaChica The one with the weird leaf seems to have grown out of it. One lady is pumping and growing quick while the other two are similar but smaller. Will be transplanting next week. Just mist watering still.

ChitownCannaChica I need to transplant one of the plants into a 4 gallon. The weird leaf plant seems to have some veriegation on some of the new growth! See how that pans out. Topped one plant. I’ll top the other this week and maybe the next after a transplant. Still just water and a light microbe feed. Gaia green living soil

ChitownCannaChica No feeding yet— transplanted into the final pots. They seem to have a bit of nitrogen curl in the new growth. Using Gaia green living soil and maybe it’s a bit hot. Otherwise, these are very happy healthy plants! The variegation that appeared last week seems to be gone!

ChitownCannaChica Did a little clean up of the lowers. Will let these go for 2-3 more weeks as I have no room in the flower tent and they are healthy— but short and bushy still. No feeing yet. They look good. Very indica with the huge fan leaves

ChitownCannaChica Looking nice and lush with huge fan leaves. Probably go 1-2 more weeks in veg then flip. 2/3 are short and bushy and one is growing vertical. Did a minor dusting of royal gold Crown Jewels veg powder (not in gd system and it’s a big brand!). Happy and healthy plants 🏻💚

ChitownCannaChica So this should be the last week of veg as I have room opening up in the flower tent soon. 2/3 are bushy and one of the 3 is nice and tall. Hopefully they stretch a bit in flower. 🏻💚

ChitownCannaChica So I flipped one and 2 are still in veg. I’ll document them both but report mainly on flower as space in the flower tent is limited.

ChitownCannaChica So one of the three is two more weeks ahead in flower and is evident. Feeding the Plagron. The plants look happy. Still short and bushy— been having some massive stretchers lately so these are nice. Just rotating them around in the tent for light and air variability. 🏻💚?💨?

ChitownCannaChica All the plays look healthy. All are still short and squatty. Little disappointed as none are going to be super frosty. I’ve had some really good luck with zamnesia with frosty buds with great structure and terps. These plants are average thus far. Maybe a few notches above a decent auto. Just not wow in the terps or looks. They may be late bloomers— fingers crossed. Still feeding the Plagron and did a top dress of promix with Gaia green bloom mixed in. 🏻💚?💨?

ChitownCannaChica So 2/3 turned out decent. Probably harvest in another 1-2 weeks. One just turned out ok— probably destined for edibles. The other 2 are very nice. One still very green and the other fading. Nice big sticky buds and I’m a little worried because of the density— did some major defoliation to get some airflow. 🏻💚?💨?

ChitownCannaChica Flushing out 2/3 ladies for a harvest. All the buds are super dense. Some have a better structure and frost. This is my fav so far

ChitownCannaChica 2/3 are up and drying now. Some of the final shots. So far- sticky broccoli is average in frost and terps. Overall structure is the same on all plants— short and squatty- good for small space growers. Leans indica heavy Buds are very dense! I have 3 fans blowing and one sucking to avoid the dreaded Bud rot when buds are this stacked and dense. No issue but it’s always a concern in basement grows Easy to grow Not a heavy feeder- responded very nicely to the Plagron Shorter flower time is ideal this was done quickly Smoke report in about 10 days then curing in some grove bags- Will finish right on time! 🏻💚?💨?

ChitownCannaChica Observations: Strong lateral branching Thick fan leaves Very strong stem development Mild funky/skunky smell even in veg I defoliated lightly around week 4 to improve airflow and flipped to flower after about 5 weeks when the canopy filled the tent. Flowering Stage – Week 1–9 Stretch during early flower was moderate — around 1.5x in height. Bud sites stacked nicely and formed dense golf-ball style flowers early on. Around week 4–5 of flower the smell became intense: Diesel Funky broccoli/skunk notes Earthy sweetness Slight garlic undertones By week 6 the trichome production really kicked in. Leaves and sugar trim became heavily frosted and resin production exceeded expectations for a casual run. The plant handled nutrients well throughout flower with only slight tip burn near peak feeding. Lower humidity during late flower helped avoid mold issues despite the dense buds. Final Results: Flower Time: ~9 weeks Yield: Around 4.5 oz dry from one plant Density: Dense and sticky Trim Difficulty: Moderate due to resin buildup Smoke Report: After a 2-week dry and roughly 3-week cure: Smooth smoke Strong nose out of the jar Funky savory terp profile Relaxing hybrid effects with a noticeable body buzz but still mentally uplifting Overall Impression: Sticky Broccoli was an easy strain to grow with solid resilience and good bag appeal. It stayed manageable indoors, produced very frosty buds, and delivered a unique terpene profile that stood out from sweeter dessert strains. Would definitely grow again, especially for anyone who likes gassy/skunky cultivars with decent yields and low maintenance.
