PlantMike Well it's officially competition time for the eternity cup! Got my grow pack in the mail a few weeks ago and chose the two best looking beans in the pack to pop into the rockwool cubes. While we are waiting for germination I thought it a good time to add some amendments since the 25 gallon pots had just finished growing the BMR sisters. I love adding high quality organic ingredients because it continues to provide slow nutrients to plant throughout the grow. Here we go Eternity Cup!

PlantMike We're officially in the 25 gallon pots and the eternity cup grow has begun! This is a living soil and for this round requiring the plagron nutrients it will be a "Synganic" grow. Root health was great as I took them out of their 1.5pint cups and I'm excited to get this competition grow going! Here we grow!

PlantMike Plants are growing but still a little slow to really take off. They look nice and green and have great turgor. Lights are at 50% power which is providing enough PPFD for this stage while not overheating the tent thus keeping the VPD around 1.1. I gave some compost tea using recharge tonight so we'll see if that helps boost their growth!

PlantMike Sticky broccoli 🥦 continues to grow at a steady pace, not much to report just keeping the living soil properly hydrated, leaves are perky and perfectly green waiting a few more days to top and then we'll be pushing to transition to flower!

PlantMike Nothing new to report with sticky broccoli. She got a topping and a light defoliation of some of the megs fan leaves so she could clear lateral growth. Growth is steady and with these established pots there isn't much need for intervention by me while in veg. Flipped to flower 2/17. Here we go for flower!

PlantMike The broccoli girls are looking pretty great. I'm going to do some defoliating tonight to open up the lower canopy and I can't decide if I'm going to put undercanopy lighting in due to struggling with temps so I may just ride the top lights. Pistils are bright and viable, plants looking good!

PlantMike Sticky broccoli is growing well and starting to stack pretty under the viparspectra lights. No terpenes yet but she seems to be happy in the living soil. Let's keep it going!
