Black Rainbow Autoflower

Theycallme_nips Planted directly into 5gal. After 1 week all 3 have solid growth, no stretching but leaves look a little light. First time growing in coco so I may have waited too long for first feed. With high humidity the fabric pots seem to be holding water for multiple days at a time at this stage.

Theycallme_nips Started to show calcium deficiency so I did a calmag spray. Low level GH line.

Theycallme_nips Trying out the blumat system again. 24 hours in and no flooding yet. Water level does not look like it has moved much yet on the bucket but going to give it some more time. Plants look healthy overall.

Theycallme_nips Tried to set up the blumat system with drip rings but it never seemed to work. Water in reservoir had ph drift up so when finally fertigated they are showing slight deficiencies. No flowering yet but I’d imagine it is right around the corner. Pictures are from day 26. LST clips added only to meristems on day 27.

Theycallme_nips Blumat seems to be working finally. Giving only CalMagic ph balanced water as the lead tips were starting to show a bit of burn. Put a few more bud clips on the outside two. Original bud clip fell off the middle plant so going to let it grow naturally. Day 33

Theycallme_nips Right plant was taken off blumat. Was consistently droopy even when soil was wet or dry so now just hand watering. Has bounced back since. Left and middle are loving the blumat system but it’s getting tricky to keep nutrients in there for long enough before they begin to smell a bit. Started flower approximately 2/1 so probably not much more stretch coming. Probably need to flush slightly more frequently next time around as left and middle got slight nutrient burn but was caught early.

Theycallme_nips Finally installed an air stone for the blumat reservoir and hopefully that’ll help keep it last, started to get a slight smell after a few days. Otherwise the ladies are looking alright. Still having slight nutrient lockout but taken care of for the most part. Feeding approximately 25% recommended per feed schedule. All 3 are starting to show more CalMagic issues as they proceed into flower with 1 showing more than 2 which is showing more than 3 who was the last to finish stretching. 1st attempt at lollipoping on day 51 and feel like I could have done more. Another round of defoliation coming soon. Photos from Day 54 from sprout. Plant 1: Started off the strongest but also went into flower first so did not stretch much. Very dense canopy, going to need quite a bit more defoliation next time around. Pistil hairs already showing browning but no other signs of any potential light stress. Plant 2: shot up during the stretch because the LST clip fell off. Attempted to supercrop and I would say it was a success. Went a little hard but learned. Plant 3: went into flower last but was about to put in the most LST work. Almost tripled in size during the stretch and toom over as the largest in the tent.

Theycallme_nips Photos from day 71 Plant 1 is starting senescence and showing about 10% amber. Ready to chop in the next few days. Going to start feeding only water when really necessary. Plant 2 is really starting to bulk. Plant 3 felt like it would never stop stretching. Buds and very thin still. Overall candy funk aroma overtakes the lung room when the tent is opened. Excited to smoke this one. Now to figure out where to dry it with all the tents occupied at the moment. 2&3 need a couple more weeks at least, thinking should be ready around day 85.

Theycallme_nips Day 95 and 2 have been chopped and are drying. One remains and has probably 1 week left. Not sure what’s going on with this one strange bud whose pistils are staying white. Steady flushing from here on out until some amber begins to show.
