XanHalenTGI Jan 11 2026 Not much to say, once they hit veg will backfill the pots a bit and add rice hulls. Switching from distilled to dechlorinated tap water as I see lighter tops.

XanHalenTGI Jan 17 2026 Watering about 50ml per plant, dries in about 36hr Plain dechlorinated tap water at pH 6. Ppfd is 300 +/- 10% @ 24 in from canopy. No major issues, starting to ramp growth nicely. Starting LST next week alongside 1/2 in of raw rice hull top-dress.

XanHalenTGI Jan 26 2026 Top-dressed 2:1 - 4-4-4 @ 2 tbsp per pot, 2-8-4 @ 1 tbsp per pot, raw rice hulls added on top of a thin layer of EWC. No topping, bottom of stalk supported and bent the tops over, minor defol where necessary was used sparingly. Pre flower pistols present on 2 of 2. LW @ 0.5 ml per gal, 1x this week.

XanHalenTGI Feb 5 2026 we are into stretch, will be applying the final top-dress @ 4:1 of 284:444 (about 2 tbsp : .5 tbsp) beginning of week 5, liquid weight still 1x per week at 1ml/L. the Gold Glue clearly has more size than the GWK so far.

XanHalenTGI Feb 10 2026 Applied final flower feed (top-dress) 2 days prior to this post, 2 tbsp 284 : 0.5 tbsp 444, watered in with 1L of DTW per plant with LW @ 1mL/L (dialed back total amount of amendments for the smallest one to avoid burn) Keeping the canopy level, removing leaves blocking light, and removing bud sites that are too low, that's it. cannot wait to see the flowers on these girls, smooth sailin' from here hopefully.👌👌 *NOTE: These girls turned out much smaller than the Gold Glue, they could have gone with a slightly milder feed from the start.

XanHalenTGI Feb 14 2026 We’re looking a bit dark, and seeing some yellowing one GWK, and some tip burn all around, nun crazy.. Watering vol increased from 1L to 1.5L/pot/24hr (dryback) The GWK with the yellowing fan leaves at the one top was watered to 15% runoff, suspected 444 hot pocket in the roots. Note to Future Self: Overall bud development is good, hopefully things lighten in colour as flower progresses but every instance where 444 or 284 was used in this grow, I recommend dialling back 1/4 total volume of dry amendments; at least with the GWK, they are smol.

XanHalenTGI Feb 25 2026 These girls are the problem children, and have taught me a valuable lesson when running 2 separate strains, or a new strain in general. The Grape Walker Kush is a variety that could have done with a fraction of the nutrients that were pre-amended in the soil... My theory: The soil was too hot from the start for them -- couldn't establish roots well = small plants + N tox from hop.... NOTE TO FUTURE SELF: The gold glue are doing beautifully in the same tent so the GWK have been deemed SENSITIVE TO NUTRIENTS, start low or with no dry amendments in soil to allow root establishment and only do veg and flower top-dress at around weeks 2 and 6.

XanHalenTGI Feb 3 2026 These girls are throwin' some nice frost and bud despite the issues that they have had and are still recovering from, very grapey-gas like smell.

XanHalenTGI March 13 2026 Got some real nice shots of these girls. These girls are looking 90 - 95% cloudy, with almost no amber. Estimate 3 - 5 days for some amber to appear.

XanHalenTGI Hopefully the smoke is alright, these girls are tough to grow and I need redemption for sure. Buds look frosty, smell like grape gas, density of the flower is rough anywhere except the main tops.
