GoodTimesOrganics Hi dear community and welcome back! 💚
We were in the mood for some old school again and decided on a real classic.
Cali Orange Bud from White Label (Sensi Seeds) in the regular version.
The seeds were a bit older, but they still germinated without any issues.
After 3 days in the cotton pads, the babies went into their first pot and discovered the light of the cabinet on 01/04/2026.
Thanks also for the sponsorship from BioTabs NL. 🌱💚
The environmental conditions are optimal so far:

🌞 Temp: 24°C to 25°C
🌚 Temp: 18°C to 19°C

GoodTimesOrganics Hi dear community and welcome back! 💚
The little one is doing well!
The seeds were a bit older now, but they still germinated without any issues.
However, the cotyledons and the first true leaves were a bit dried out.
I was worried that the plants might still die.
This is probably due to their age (4 years), but now more true leaves are forming, and I think the plants are out of the woods.
This week, no additional nutrients have been used, as I'm waiting for the plants to start their proper growth. 🌱💚

GoodTimesOrganics Hi dear community and welcome back! 💚
After the sixth week of growth, the Orange Bud is developing solidly. It's really kicking off the growth phase now. Most importantly, it has revealed its gender, and yes, it's a female.. 😊💚
So it was time to give it a new home.
The soil in the new pot (9L) was prepared with the sponsored palette of Biotabs! (A big thank you again 😉)
With this, I will basically only water the plant and occasionally add some Orgatex and later on PK 5-8.
The new leaves look very healthy, and overall the plant has developed well.
The side shoots are now starting to spread out and are gradually coming along nicely.
The lower shoots were cut off so that the plant can now fully express its potential upwards.

GoodTimesOrganics Hi dear community and welcome back! 💚
After the eighth week of growth, the Orange Bud is still developing great.
For sex determination, there was a brief excursion into the flowering phase for about a week, followed by the last 2.5 weeks of re-veg.
Now on 07.02.2026, it finally went into the flowering phase.
The new leaves look very healthy, and overall the plant has developed well. Old school baby! 💚

For sex determination, there was a brief excursion into the flowering phase for about a week, followed by the last 2.5 weeks of re-veg.
During the re-veg period, the plant has somewhat leaned towards mutation.

After the second week of flowering, the Orange Bud is still developing great. During the stretch, the sativa genes are really coming through, and the plant has made another strong growth spurt.

After the third week of flowering, the Orange Bud is still developing great.
Currently, there's a bit of a desert climate in the bloom tent, as the ladies actually love it during flowering.
There's a bit of tip burning to note. However, the flower shoots are developing very nicely. And the stigmas are starting to sprout.

After the fifth week of flowering, the Orange Bud continues to develop accurately.
The plant is forming many stigmas, and the density runs from top to bottom.
There is a bit of tip burning to note. However, the flower shoots are developing very nicely. And the stigmas are starting to sprout.
Due to the re-vegging, the plant has unfortunately lost some stability, so the side branches are not supporting the weight of the flowers as well.
This week, there was also a Bio Tabs PK booster compost tea 🌿☕
I removed a few more leaves so that the plant can be nicely illuminated in the lower area.

After the sixth week of flowering, the buds are now developing a bit slower. I took a flowering check under the microscope.
Lo and behold, it doesn't seem to need much longer.
The aroma is also intensifying. It's a classic cannabis aroma with a subtle sweetness.
The plant is producing many stigmas, and the density is consistent from top to bottom.

GoodTimesOrganics Hi dear community and welcome back! 💚
After the seventh week of flowering, it's time for the Cali Orange Bud! So that's exactly 8 weeks plus 2 days now.
Today is also harvest day!
A classic from the early days! With today's Cali hype, I think it's particularly important to go back to the original Cali strains!
I find this one especially suitable because it's just a classic! The aroma is a classic cannabis aroma with a subtle sweetness and light licorice-like notes.
What I've confirmed again in this grow is that regular seeds should not be revegetated!
By that, I mean putting the plant on a 12/12 light cycle for a short window for sex determination so it shows its gender faster.
Don't do it! It's better to wait until the plant reveals itself. Usually, after 5 to 6 weeks of growth, it will naturally go into pre-flowering, even under an 18/6 light cycle.
Due to revegetation, the plant has lost stability, so the side branches are not supporting the weight of the buds well, and the leaves are also becoming deformed.
Additionally, the plant is leaning more towards foxtailing!

The Cali Orange Bud! Original! Old school and legend!
If you're wondering where to start with all the Cali hype? I can tell you: "Just start at the beginning!"
You have a good old school genetic that simply smells like good weed and doesn't knock you out right away!
It usually grows beautifully, delivers good results, and just smells amazing!
And it's also affordable. Sometimes you just don't need to optimize or reinvent anything.
