MADMANk Was topped once or twice, had a vegetative stage of 5 or so weeks (including seedling stage)
Im always taking plants in and out and this was one i decided to take to flower late, knowing i had a "autopot 1pot" system coming (3)
Found out today - if the fabric is clean and dosnt drop anything into the autopot tray, it seems to be fine!
Ofcourse some genetics won't like the "wet feet", and could maybe use a riser because of this... But il test my luck!
Have 2 Terpyz mutants in autopots... Not sure if il out them on a diary yet as they have been transitioned super early + could be males!
@wolfvb, thanks! Taken this thing into flower based on the fact my veg tent was full, was in flower whilst the fullgas was finishing!
Recently put those bud clips on it too spread out the nodes a lil, the autopot tray... Its boosting the buds significantly, noticable within 2 days - the comparison to growth compared to when i hand watered my 3x3!
Ofcourse its in a fab sitting in the tray though, would have transplanted into the "autopot" but... Scared because the pots ratio is 80/20 coco and perlite
(Was scared the pot wouldnt "wick" correctly because of this or the "airdomes" work properly)
I normally top twice or so with around 6-7 weeks of veg (this includes the seedling stage) mainly done so i dont run into stretch problems... This year though will be doing bigger plants, as i normally ran 2-3 gal fabs, now doing "autopots" 15ltr 1pots for my flower tent! (Maybe put a few plants in 1 gal fabs beside them if possible)
