PavementPunk First time trying living soil. Slightly under in the nutrients but it should be good. I saved a bit of minerals and nutes for top dressing later. Added biochar and worm castings compost/ manure live worms from the backyard pumice. I feel pretty good about it. Also used a heating mat for the first time. It worked so well my seedlings got a little stretchy. Dialing in the light height and intensity has been tricky too. Had it at like 36 inches at 55% hitting 300 ppfd. Lowered it to 16 inches at 44% hopefully my instincts kick back in i feel a little lost. The internet gives such conflicting info. Happy growing ✌️

PavementPunk Pretty sure the fly issue is negatively affecting 2 of my 3 seedlings. Wondering if living soil was a mistake. I put down some pumice around the base of these babies in a small circle as like mulch to hopefully protect their roots. Watered them only where my rocks are. I planted cover crops for the living soil watered everything in and covered it with some dry peat pumice mix i had. I hit that with a decent layer of diatomaceous earth too and another sticky trap or 2. Hoping this helps get it under control. I got a flying insect plug in trap on the way too. The BPP RF3 is looking pretty good and doing well at least there is that lol happy growing yall ✌️

Lol fml man. Few more days. I wanna start my photo seedlings soon. Im hopeful this living soil will be good once i get the flies dealt with. Still figuring out this light too. Got it about 16 inches from canopy @ 65% easing it up to 80% over a week or 2. Wish me luck friends happy growing ✌️

PavementPunk This girl has really bounced back and is getting bigger and healthier by the day. They all look better since the first full strength dose of wdg3000. I gave them 2 with a 1/4 strength myco+ dose in between. Gave some other living soil i have in a pot a decent but of it too to hopefully start getting rid of any fly larvae in there. Light just up to 80% @ 16 inches. I want this grow to bounce back even though its already half over. Maybe. I might need to do 1 more auto run instead of my photos next. Idk Happy growing friends ✌️

PavementPunk She looks slightly droopy in these pics but its from leaf tucking. This lil monster has recovered and then hit the growth button. About doubled in size in 1 week. I keep having to raise the light about an inch a day. I dont mind but i think my other 2 girls are getting a bit less light falling behind a bit. I raised the grape ape about 2 inches. Seems like i might need to make more adjustments. Light at 80% approx 16-18 inches from tallest nodes. The last watering i gave them instant compost tea which is basically just water soluble myco and i top dressed 1 tbsp of langenbeinite for each plant. About 2/3 of a gallon per plant or 2 gallons split 3 ways. Watering every 72 hours instead of my typical 48 as im hoping less frequent waterings will also help w the flies. That wdg3000 works great the health of my garden has improved drastically since I first used it. Shoutout to Awilburn for suggesting it, you're a grow saver! Zevo traps are grossly overpriced, get the off brand one lol.

PavementPunk This happy plant has become the star of the tent. Shes doing well adjusting to tge 100% light at 16 inches. Seems to like the langenbeinite. Bugs are dealt with. Shes happy im happy. Already did my other 2 diaries dont feel like doing a ton of details here too. If i realized how big she was gonna get i would have cut off more lower nodes. I wonder if i couldve kicked up the light intensity sooner but maybe the stretch was inevitable. This plant has me extra excited for my Ethos chem funk photo im gonna start soon. Happy growing yall ✌️

PavementPunk Good week in the tent. Seems all 3 girls are pretty happy with the light/ environment. This beauty continues to steal the show, what an unexpected pleasure in the tent, it was a free seed who knows. It seems like its making decent sized buds. She smells good and is pretty too. Bottom watering this week and wdg3000 half strength top watering. Outside garden getting love too indoor babies getting some noon sun with their bottom watering. Weather is already getting warm in south usa. Spring is here. Next set of seeds coming along some more than others damn cats lol happy growing

PavementPunk She continues to chunk up. NYCD shows much promise. Things are pretty stable in the tent. A bit warm and humid as usual but thats my climate. Main note is defoliation of fan leaves for light penetration air flow and maybe most important reducing humidity. Been doing 48 hour waterings gonna go a little bit longer closer to 72 trying to fight the humidity. Dont want the living soil getting too dry either. A soil moisture meter would be helpful. Still wanna get a vcure for my post harvest but alas i haven't ordered one yet lol. Hard to drop that much $ on 1 purchase for me. Messed w putting the dehumidifier in the tent. Temps went up to almost 80. Vpd was like 1.6 too. I think if i didnt have my tent stuck in the back of a bathroom it would be easier to keep it cooler. Been messing w having my intake at different spots in the tent. Haven't found a magic spot yet lol. Happy growing yall ✌️

PavementPunk Main notes from this week are i did a bottom watering out in the intense sun. The transition may have stressed them a little. Got some brown burnty spots on a few top leaves, all good. Also hit them with a molasses watering that i phed to 6.4. She might be the frostiest of the ladies and continues to impress w her chunky buds. Overall happy w her and this grow in general now that things have gotten more stable lol happy growing yall ✌️
She could have gone maybe like 3 more days but she was pretty ready. I gave her a 9 just cause im not super impressed with the size or structure. I did have pest issues early that could have affected this. Shes very frosty w some nice sized buds and a decent but not very strong smell. This was 1 of 3 free nycd auto seeds i got w my chem funk purchase so i really wasnt expecting a lot but she did grow well and was pretty resilient and easy. Will smoke report and more pics w dry weight
@PavementPunk, A simple fix for stretchy seedlings is to bury them deep when you put em in the dirt. All those tiny hairs on the stem will turn into roots
