Germination
5mo ago
Garys_Mod_Green SO as a new grower I will be doing my best to document my experiences. Succesful germination using the towel method . Pots were Aquired at walmart and i drilled additional holes into the bottom to get better drainage. Water run through a Brita filter showing a 95PPM and PH of 8 which was lowered to 6.5 with some lemon juice. Seeds planted into Build a soil 3.0 blend. my temps are a bit high hoping to lower them with addition of a circulation fan Cloudray S9 to bump temps down just a bit and circulate the air better. Highly limited on space as you can see. Any and all advice is welcome.

Garys_Mod_Green okay bit of a stretch between updates but sapling stage went well and successfully repotted into the 5 gallons yesterday and I can't see any alarming signs of stress yet but as a new grower maybe there will be some that pop up and ya'll can hekp me identitify any issues. Water only with some light add ons of great white for root growth. They are starting to give off a slight weed smell which is lovely. Autopot system implemented aswell as humidifer and fan. humidity was a big problem here our resting humidity in my house is roughly 28% so getting to a stable 63% was definitely necessary. current DLI on my plants at day 21 is about 22 and hoping after a couple days of adjustment from the repot to slowly work the lights closer to get closer to 30. Water I am currently PH balancing down with lemon juice.

Garys_Mod_Green I wanted to make sure i wrapped this diary up as it was hard for me to come back and make entries. We ended up with 5 ounces per plant of dry bud one of which i harvested early due to sickness and the other i feel i harvested just on time. Giving us 5 ounces of very strong weed and 5 ounces of what i started calling diet coffee weed . It's great for a light daytime puff that ends in about an hour . Seed Supremes genetics overall were very resilient for a first time grower i learned alot i made many mistakes and the plants bounced back often and were able to make it to the finish line. I fell in love with growing these plants. The grow is such a rite of passage i feel like. Loving the good herb and growing it and respecting it to understand her are just so interesting and it has helped me relax alot to be in my gardens. I have 3 more plants going and i'm excited to be a part of this community

never enough space. All the info you see about fans, air moverment they'll tell you to have you fans on the plants so the plants are moving but this is info has been coming to us for 50yrs and things are different with led,s.The leaf surface temp needs to be higher with led,s due to the lack of infrared. The surface temp wants to be around 29-30 and the air is around 2 high than the leaf so have your fan blowing the air over the top and not directly on the plant. If the leaves want 29 then the air should be 1-2 higher. If you end up with some really thick fat buds during the last 2wks then maybe move them down a little but they should be fine over the top. Most people have no idea about this.MAXIBRIGHT LED site DAYLIGHT.COM have some great info on leds.SANLIGHT.COM also have so good info on their blog as well.Theres a good phone app to measure light "PPFD Metre".You can run your light lower during the seedling and veg stage and only turn up full during mid flower.I use infrared thermometer to measure my leaf temps.I paid around £15 for mine but you can get them cheaper off temu.

Have fun with your grow! Your plants look happy and healthy for their age, definitely should be able to handle the transplant well. Try planting directly into the soil next time to see what you prefer. The plants will love it :).
the end.
