Things slowed down a little over week 2 I think I had some definincy problems and a couple of the girls got a little nute burn and so growth slowed a bit and it took me a while to get the watering schedule and nutes dialed in so I think they are smaller than others I've seen at this stage but I knew for my first grow it wouldn't be easy starting with Coco, but I read a great article on cocoforcannabis.com about watering and feeding or should I say fertigating which helped a lot and would highly recommend if your growing in Coco and are worrying if your over or under watering and feeding now I understand growing in Coco a little better and my girls are looking a lot better and are growing I've started some lst as you will see in the photos
I've had some deficiencys some toxicitys some nute burns and most of them on the same plant lol my poor auto jack has had it bad but it's still going strong and getting big I think it might of had some deficiencys with the light patches on quite a few leaves but then I also thought it might be light bleaching as I didn't realise the plants didn't need a 600w hid only 2ft away no wonder they wasn't growing up they had no need 😣 it wasnt untill I read that they don't need full strength light for the first week or two so I dropped it to 400w and raised it to 3.5 ft and now they are thriving, things are looking much better now I've learnt from my mistakes and I've got my feeding schedule ironed out and my ppms are quite stable, as you will see in the photos I think things are going ok I'm learning more each day and I now believe it when people say "cannabis isn't addictive but growing it certainly is" 😂 happy growing 👍
I spotted my first pistals about 3 days ago on day 28 and since then they have all exploded so these girls are well and truly in the transition to flower the smell has started to get stronger also. I started to up the bloom nutes and down the grow so hopefully all goes well. Happy growing 👍 the pictures for day 30 were taken just before a fertigation so they look a little droopy but half hour later they had perked up
Haven't updated for a while been a little busy and this is technically week five and a half I have set up a auto feeder just a little pump in a res with one 13 mm Pipe down the middle of the tent with a 4mm halo around each plant just trying to dial it in which is easier said than done maybe wasn't the best time doing it early flower but it was getting a pain having to pull the first two or three plants out to feed the back now it's just emptying the trays which is easier work lol!! All in all tho for the first time growing anything really and for a stealth I think it's going ok I've had a few problems with a couple of the plants toxicity deficiencys but as you will see in the pics they started showing pistals at about 28 days I think, and now there is lots of nice bud sites that have started to grow I'm just worried they won't get any bigger 😣 I will try and get some better pics up soon Its just getting difficult to get individual shots of each plant as they so big and heavy lol!! Hope all your grows are going well and happy growing people 🤘 p.s sorry about the bad quality photos only have my phone to use and it doesn't have the best camera
I think these girls will be ready to harvest soon, RQS says 6/8 weeks I've seen a lot of people growing the royal dwarf go 10/12 weeks but these girls look like they will be ready real soon there is some really nice tight buds on in top of these girls with lots of milky trichomes just waiting for some of them to turn amber but I think I will start their flush soon. I've learnt a lot on this my first ever grow it's been hard work but I've enjoyed every minute of growing my own plants and I can't wait to start my next one because I know with what I've learned so far it should be a little easier, and I know there is a great community of growers out there I can call on for advice and help at any time. happy growing all 👍👍👍👍 I have more photos coming but my phone is about to die 😂😂😂
This was my first time growing anything and these royal dwarfs stood up to everything I threw at them which was quite a lot I think the one thing they really struggled with was the heat it's been pretty hot where I am and I found it hard to keep temps in my tent under 80 sometimes peaking at 84 and from what I've read about this strain of dwarf is they do better in the lower to mid 70s but I hadn't run my set up before so I didn't know the temp would be a problem but they fought through it and I got some monster buds off them and the smell and resin they produced was amazing. It's still hanging to dry but I think I easily got about 50g off each plant but I will put up weight once all is dried propper
This was a very nice grow for my first time growing anything let alone cannabis I think it went great it was hard work at times but that was due to my inexperience and I'm sure as I grow more and learn more hopefully I will get into a rythem and things should be a little easier. As for the strains I grew 5 royal dwarf and 1 auto jack all my seeds germinated and all had started to show signs of flower by week 3 and from there on they exploded not one of my plants was under 60cm and a couple was over 80cm and one had 12 nice fat colas. I did get quite a lot of popcorn I wouldn't know how much by weight but I have a couple of carrier bags full stuffed in the freezzer ready to make some concentrates and stuff, but the amount of popcorn that I got was solely down to my fault in the end my 1.2x1.2 metre tent was stuffed and there just wasn't enough light penetration through the canopy especially as I couldn't have it on the full 600w because of the heat and around the plants where they was virtually stuffed wall to wall so it was only the main colas on top which got all the light but they are nice and fat next time I'm only going to do 4 maybe 5 plants and I will probably scrog and defoliate a lot more than I did. I don't think anyone will learn anything from my grow but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it and documenting it and hopefully enjoy smoking it too. good look to all you growers out there
Good luck with them two strains mate, the royal jack grows really good I've got one but not on diary it's a week into flowering and she's really wide, keep training her because she will definitely out grow the dwarf.
