Germination

Hawii_ReLoaded Hi Growmies and welcome 🤘 Let the new journey begin 😊 As the run in my second single plant tent is slowly coming to an end soon it’s time to set up the next new round in 2026😎 I’m really excited on this cultivar! It will be also my first experience with Solfire Gardens. Pink Milk looks and sounds absolutely phenomenal 🤩 Therefore my expectations are pretty high. The images on their Discord channel are out of this world 😂 Two seeds will be soaked for 24 hours in a glass of water. After that placed between two moisten paper towels. Use dechlorinated and filtered tap water. No PH-ing. Once there is a good sized tap root visible they will be moved into the seedling pots. Germination will be done in an thermo box with an heating mat set at approx. 22-23 degrees C. Kept a little spacer in between that the seeds don’t have a direct contact to the heating source. Two seeds will be germinated. Before transplanting into the final living soil container I‘ll choose the best developed and most vigorous plant. Sounds wasteful, but the time is too short for poor phenotypes😂 The next update will hopefully include the sprouted seedlings😁✌️ #Solfire or no fire 🔥 Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned on the next update 💚🌱

Hawii_ReLoaded 📆 Week 1 - Day 4 Current Conditions: PPFD: 250-280 (SANlight Stixx @60%) VPD: 0.7-0.8 (Offset 0 degrees C) DLI: 18 Hey Growmies 🤘 Stucking in a boring online meeting, therefore I thought could do something productive 😂 All seedlings successfully sprouted. Will start counting the days on this diary once all have broken through the soil surface. Pink Milk#1 germinated after 48 hours. Pink Milk#2 took a day longer. Decided to pop another seed, as a friend is also very interested for this cultivar. Therefore the last Pink Milk#3 was another day behind :) Took another 24-36 hours after transplant for each seed until they have broken through the soil surface. Used a humidity dome for the first two days to keep the humidity high. Normally like to keep the lights on for 20 hours per day for the first week, but as there are also older plants in the tent. So they will „just“ get 18 hours of light. But they are doing absolutely fine 💪 Tried this time another new seedling soil recipe. Living Soil Light version, which the other plants from SQ1 and Robin Hood really enjoyed 😊 Seedling soil: 65% BioBizz Light Mix 20% Wormcastings 5% Premium Compost 7.5% Perlite 2.5% Biochar Added to the total soil volume of 6 liters: Basalt, Gypsum, Spirulina, Malted Barley and Kelp meal (1- teaspoon of each amendment) The kelp and spirulina should support with the root development as there are a lot of growth hormones contained. Watered in with 5% of total soil volume with filtered and dechlorinated tap water. No PH adjustment. This activates the soil microbes and the soil gets alive🤘 Prepared pots were sitting for almost 10 days at room temperature before the sprouted seeds were transplanted. Sprinkled Rootwise Complete around each seed during the transplant. All looking pretty good and planning to keep them in the germination tent for another 10 days. After that they will be moved to the big tent and the strongest and most vigorous plant will be transplanted to the living soil container. The other two plants will be gifted to a good friend 😁👍 Once dry to the touch, I’m watering in small doses (50ml) that the roots actively searching for moisture and without the risk of overwatering the medium. Specially in this stage it’s a high potential risk and slowing down the growth. More details for Pink Milk will follow with the next update 😊 Stay tuned and keep growing💚
