Both seeds popped using the paper towel method! After about 39 hours, both had little taproots showing. The Hella Jelly had a smaller one, but the Seedsman Sour Diesel really took off — the root actually grew through the paper towel, so I had to plant it with part of the towel still stuck to it.
I prepped the grow media with CalMag and set the pH to 5.8 before planting. Once they were in, I gave the tops a light mist and used a sandwich-size ziplock bag over each one as a mini humidity dome. Now it’s just a waiting game to see those first sprouts pop up!
🤞Really excited for my first grow but you know I’m a tinkerer and trying to stop myself from overthinking my VPD and other parameters. Lung room is at 72 degrees. Going to let everything try and level out and trust the Ai controller to work for me.
