Bauer420 The three little divas are here!
5 days since germination – 3 days under light
Dear Grow Diary,
the last few days have been as exciting as a bad crime novel but with a happy ending! My three new protégés are being gently pampered by the Cresience lamps at 200 ppfd and are already stretching like little fitness models.
The Real Amnesia (Growers Choice) the little one looks like she's already planning how to turn everyone's heads later. Classic Amnesia vibes, but this time the real Dutch version. Hope she doesn't forget to grow tall 😏
Mimosa Gusher (Growers Choice) you can already somehow imagine the smell of orange and mint party.
Strawberry AK (Serious Seeds) the strawberry bomb! AK-47 × Bubble Gum = strawberry milkshake with a kick. If she gets as frosty as promised later, I’ll soon need a bucket for drooling.
All three look super healthy, cotyledons standing out like little green middle fingers being thrust at the grow lamp. But no drama, just three little show-offs saying, “Hey dude, let’s get this party started!”
Next days: Slightly increase, observe, fall in love.
Stay tuned, the show is just getting started! 🌱🍁

Bauer420 Week 2 / Day 9
The Sativa Divas are showing teeth
(and wet feet)
Hello everyone 👋
My three little divas have been under the Crescience Fluxshield 450C for 9 days now (sweet spot so far 210ppfd – running super smooth so far).
•The Real Amnesia (Growers Choice the real Dutch clone lineage)
•Mimosa Gusher (Growers Choice 50/50 hybrid, but with the citrus mint gusher vibe)
•Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds the frosty strawberry AK queen, strongly sativa-dominant)
Unfortunately, I overdid it a bit with the watering again. 😅 This was also due to the lack of time; otherwise, there would be longer soaking times for the substrate.
Especially the Real Amnesia is showing it clearly on the cotyledons; they are now nicely brownish and hanging a bit limp.
Classic overwatering look, roots haven't gotten enough air;
→ Growth has clearly slowed down in the last few days. But: She's hanging in there! No real crash, just a little wake-up call for me. The other two (Mimosa Gusher and Strawberry AKeil) have handled it better, still looking fresh and green.
Current conditions:
Light: Fluxshield (about 28–32 cm)
pH: at 6.0
Temperature: 24 °C
Relative humidity: ~75 %
Additional unwanted guest: Fungus gnats have sneaked in. But they'll soon lose their laughter 👹 I've started directly with neem oil, and nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) are coming in the next few days.
The combo will clean up nicely in 7–10 days. Until then, yellow sticky traps + keep the top layer a bit drier.
Conclusion of this week:
The Sativa-Dominas definitely need a bit less affection when watering than my old Indica hybrids. 😄 Real Amnesia has taken the biggest hit, but I'm confident that she'll pick up the pace again in the next 2-3 days once the roots can breathe freely again. The Mimosa Gusher and especially the Strawberry AKeil look super vital and are already making me excited for the coming weeks.
Next ToDos:
Less is more 😅
Increase light to 300ppfd. (As soon as the next leaf pairs are fully developed)
Thanks for stopping by!
Feedback, tips always welcome! 💚
Stay groovy and don’t water too much 😉

Bauer420 Woche 3 /Tag 17
-Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds): Die andere Sativa-Queen ebenfalls starker Seitentrieb Wuchs trotz Dominanz.
Pflege Highlights dieser Woche:
Gießen: Hab's echt langsam angehen lassen.
Setup
Licht: Fluxshield 450C @ 30-35 %, Abstand 25–30 cm (gedrungener wuchs!).
pH: Immer noch stabil bei 6.0
Temp: 24 °C
rel. Luftfeuchte: ~65–70 %
Nächstes Gießen nur bei Bedarf no more Overwatering!
Habt ihr Tipps immer her damit 🌱

Bauer420 Woche 4 /Tag 28 – Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) holt auf: Defoliation + LST u. Fimming zaubern homogene Struktur!
Hey Grower-Freunde 👋
- rel. Luftfeuchte: 60–65 % ideal, um Schimmelrisiko niedrig zu halten.
- Setup allgemein: Fluxshield 450C passendem Dim (aktuell 45 %, Abstand angepasst),
pH stabil 6.2,
sparsam gießen mit ; Root juice, Algamic u. Fishmix
Top👍
Nächste Steps:
- LST weiter anpassen, neue Seitentriebe binden
Stay lifted und train smart!

Bauer420 Tag 33 Week 5 Fimming + LST pays off – 12/12 is coming! 🍓
Finally, we're entering the hot phase of my Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) at Day 33 and Week 5!
The fimming from a few weeks ago did exactly what I wanted: The plant has reacted super well, and thanks to consistent LST + targeted defoliation (only the really blocking fan leaves), all the side shoots are now almost on a perfect level. The canopy is nice and even, this is going to be a dream when filling the tent! 🍓
In the last two days, I’ve already reduced the light hours to make the transition smooth:
- 2 days ago: from 18/6 → 16/8
- Today: down to 14/10
- And the day after tomorrow (Day 35) comes the final blow → 12/12!
From then on, it’s going to get really exciting in the tent: first pre-flowers, stretching phase, and hopefully soon the legendary strawberry smell from Serious Seeds.
Current setup & environmental values (measured today):
- Light distance: 40 cm
- PPFD: about 350–380 µmol/m²/s)
- pH (in runoff): 6.3 is good
- Temperature: 24 °C
- Humidity: 64% still in the green zone for the transition
Today, there was a little microbe party: I carefully worked fresh horse manure under the mulch layer + some white rotten wood from the forest for extra fungi & bacteria. The microorganisms are supposed to really kick in now and push the roots before the stretching phase eats up energy.
The plant looks healthy and happy: strong stems, beautiful dark green leaves, and already the first signs that it’s noticing the days are getting shorter. I’m super curious to see how much it stretches (Strawberry AKeil is supposed to stretch moderately) and when the first really intense strawberry scent fills the tent.
Next steps:
- Day after tomorrow 12/12 🏵️
- Observe closely in the next few days (stretch, first pistils, adjust nutrient needs)
- Defoliation round 2 just lightly, after the 2 weeks of stretch.
Stay tuned, it’s going to be an awesome Strawberry AKeil flowering phase! If anyone has tips for the 12/12 start, feel free to drop them in the comments! 💚

Bauer420 Tag 39 / Flowering Day 4 Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) is also thriving under 12/12: Damn, it's so even and the side shoots are already catching up! 🍓
📷... Action 💚
Hey Grow-Crew 👋
Four days ago, the Strawberry AKeil also got the 12/12 kick after its little delay; it received less treatment than the Growers Choice girls: Fimming + LST + targeted defoliation.
But it was still part of the program.
And holy shit, what a result!
The little one is now damn even, almost a perfect flat canopy level, and the side shoots are really overtaking the main tip! "As if they were just waiting for the moment." Thanks to LST clips and the targeted leaf removal, it's now just as homogeneous as the other two. Serious Seeds quality pure: it reacts amazingly to training!
Flowering nutrients: 50% PK-Boost (like the others), but it seems it needed nitrogen in the form of Fish mix; it looked less nourished.
Setup:
- Fluxshield 450C at 45 cm + Far-Red switched on (left)
- Temp 24–25 °C
- RH 60–62% (Target flowering: 50–55%)
- VPD ~0.9–1.0
Short conclusion with a grin:
Now all three strains in the tent are almost on the same level. The Strawberry AKeil with its overtaking side shoots completes the crew. If this keeps up, I’ll soon need more LST clips… or just popcorn because the show is going to be so awesome 😂
Let’s see where we land; despite experience, one thing also counts 🍀
What do you think, or are you dominating the scene!? 👇

Bauer420 🍓 Strawberry AK (Serious Seeds)
Tag 63 / Flowering Day 28
Update on the problem child:
After initially suspecting strong light (Fluxshield 450C at 75-80%) as the culprit, then overwatering, root rot, and later an iron blockage from the slug pellets during the veg phase, I've now landed on nitrogen deficiency as the main issue.
The lower leaves showed increasingly yellowing and slight necrosis, while the colas remained nicely frosty and a darker lime-green, which is typical based on my research.
Recent measures:
- Completely flushed to reset the medium
- Gave a light mineral NPK 5-5-5 (very sparingly) + double the amount of Biobizz Grow.
- pH remains stable at 6.4-6.5
The horse manure (a handful per pot a week before flowering) is now fully rooted and continues to provide nice organic base nutrients. I hope that with this little mineral kick, the plants will get back into full swing without starting to grow vegetatively.
Current status:
The tops are extremely resinous, the leaves still this bright lime-green (excited for tomorrow), and the smell is already beautifully strawberry-sweet. No pests, no mold, no new major problems.
Plan for the next few days:
- Possibly foliar feeding with Epsom salt
- Watch the reaction of the leaves
- Fertilize lightly again if needed, but rather less than too much
Hopefully, the AK is finally on the home stretch and catching up. The other two (Mimosa Gusher + The Real Amnesia) are still show-stoppers.
Let's keep going – Fingers crossed! 🍓🌿

Bauer420 Tag 70 / Flowering Day 40 | After the flush, back to being fit & full of fruity terpenes 🍓
The little one is back on the right track! After the last "flush," she has recovered super well. The thick buds are now shining in rich green, and even the older leaves aren't deteriorating further – she looks really healthy and stable.
As usual, I added Fertil95 (calcium carbonate) to the soil to optimize the supply. This time, it seems I gave her just a little too much of a good thing – she's not as Mg-hungry as the other plants in the tent. Lesson learned, next time I'll dose a bit more cautiously.
This led to a blockage of calcium and iron and a general imbalance in the substrate that caused my yellowing.
What makes her really strong: Terpenes!
In the tent, she plays an absolute leading role – extremely fruity, with a nice, clear hint of strawberry. Delightfully intense and exactly what you expect from a Serious Seeds Strawberry AKeil. The buds are already nice and compact and are getting stickier every day.
Everything is going smoothly right now: The plant has filled out well after the stretch, the leaves are vibrant, and the smell in the tent is just awesome.
Next steps: Prepare for the final sprint and enjoy the terpene development.
Starting next week, there will be macro shots to observe the development more closely.
Until then!

Bauer420 Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) Tag 103 / Blühtag 68 Almost at the finish line
43 cm ready for harvest! 🍓🔥
After 68 long flowering days, my Strawberry AKeil is now a compact 43 cm tall, but extremely densely packed. In the last few days, the buds have really thickened up, and hardly any new flower cups (calyces) have formed. She has clearly entered the ripening phase!
Today I did another close trichome check:
30% B / 60% M / 10% K
Exactly the sweet spot I've been waiting for. The heads are shining fat and resinous, especially in close-up you can see the fantastic trichome coverage. Plus, this beautiful purple-red coloring on the petals is simply a feast for the eyes!
As with the other plants in the tent, the last phase has also gone very clean:
- Over 1.5 weeks of just clear water
- At the beginning of the 10th week of flowering, a light boost with Top-Max, Acti Vera, Alg-A-Mic, and CalMag
The nitrogen has now broken down very well, as you can clearly see in the photos with the many light yellow to golden leaves. Today, I specifically removed the wilting and lower leaves to minimize the risk of mold and to give the buds more light and air.
In the next 3 days (it won't run longer), she gets to soak up some sun, then she'll be the first to leave the tent. I'm extremely curious about the drying smell and the final aroma; so far, she has been one of the strongest terpene bombs in the tent with this fruity-strawberry profile.
Summary:
A very compact, resinous, and aromatic Strawberry AKeil that has produced really thick buds despite her slightly smaller stature. The final check tomorrow or the day after will determine the exact harvest day.
Thanks to everyone who has been cheering along!
Now comes the best part! 💚

Bauer420 Strawberry AK 🍓
Drying Phase – Day 7
Total Days: 108
Flowering Days: 73
Today, she has been hanging upside down in the dark for exactly one week. The whole plant is nice and compact, adorned with slightly fluffy buds. The first seven days without any mold, I'm really relieved. With a constant 19°C and 60-62% relative humidity, everything is going smoothly so far.
I removed the large fan leaves right on the first day to allow the buds to get better airflow. You can already see how the smaller leaves are slowly drying out and retracting. The buds still feel a bit soft, but they are slowly losing moisture and becoming firmer.
Smell Development:
The classic hay smell of the first drying days has almost completely disappeared. Instead, something entirely different is coming through—a deep, berry-like, almost heavy aroma. It's not the clear, sweet strawberry I expected from this strain, but it’s definitely heading in a fruity berry direction. Something between dark berries, a hint of strawberry, and a light spicy note underneath. Very interesting and still hard to put into words. I'm curious to see how this develops in the coming days.
The trichomes are shining on the buds.
And overall, I'm satisfied; the yield could have been more, but you can't keep that much anyway.
The first week of drying is done, without drama. Now it's time to be patient and keep the conditions stable.
Next Milestones:
- Continue at 19°C / 60% RH
- In about 7–10 days, they'll go into the grove bags
Thanks, Serious Seeds and the Strawberry AK. 🍓
